Ordered and paid for carpet and install. The day of supposed install, the supplier gave the installer the wrong color. Re-order, move all furniture back into the rooms. A few weeks later, correct carpet arrived, move furniture again. Installers did a great job but error-(supplier) did not put enough carpet into the order the order was short. Currently sitting with one lovely room that is carpeted and a master closet with no carpet. Repeat calls to get an answer on status. Very difficult to reach anyone for help- 15 minutes or more for a phone that rings or dropped into a queue repetitively, until finally reaching someone in the store for help. Informed carpet ordered to finish job- mid-May at the earliest to have a job completed that was initiated in March. Nothing more than a "sorry for the inconvenience". Once is a fluke twice is a pattern. I hope that the supplier issues are resolved and no one else has to endure this comedy of errors. The Installers (Reno Flooring) have done a great job and have attention to detail. Installers are very nice and they did their very best to complete this project. I feel sorry for the installers- this probably cost them valuable time and money too with these supplier issues. read more

Waited 10 minutes in front of locked tools to make purchase. Called for help 3 times and ZERO help from any employee and multiple walked by and asked if I needed a tool and then walked away to "call somebody". This has happened multiple times to me and I always just keep waiting for help but no more. Horrible customer service as ALL employees have the codes to unlock the tools but chose to ignore a customer of 35 years. Will gladly drive 14 miles to the Lowes and give them my money now. You lost a customer for life. read more

This home depot was really nice. We got checked out by Amber. She was even able to price match our salt softeners. Which was super convenient because we were already in the area. And we usually go to Lowe's. Thank you. Amber for being so kind. The cool thing about this place is if you have a picture of your project that you need something for their associates are down to help you and give you feedback on the tools you might need and the products and supplies. They also have fun workshops for kids for free once a month. I'm definitely putting that one on my list. read more

Service is so poor! We were looking for a small sheet of plexiglass, and 4 different associates had no idea of where to find any. When we finally located the plexiglass area, I was happy to see that they advertised "CUT TO SIZE..." inquire at Pro Desk or Millwork. Went to the millwork desk and had to wait while the guy and gal sitting at the desks finished discussing lunch plans. I said I need to have a piece of plexiglass cut only to be told "we don't cut plexiglass!" I told them that their sign said we "cut to size" only to be sternly told "we've never done that!". Whelp, your sign says you do and then the grumpy little gnome said, "that's your problem!". I asked why they advertised that they did cut plexiglass, she told me that they do not, never did, and never will cut plexiglass... Talked to a manager and she originally said to us, "it's not a problem, we just scribe cut it and then snap it off" - so I said cool, let's do it! She then decided that they don't do it, and wasn't sure if they did... some of the aisles were so crowded you could not get through - and they were not blocked for loading... BEFORE using their sub-contractors do your homework extensively! Using ACCENT COUNTERTOPS has been a CHALLENGE saying it nicely. Office staff rude and will tell you what you want to hear, destruction / installation team! Had large holes in the walls, facet doesn't fit, issues with caulking, backsplash too high and thick, to name a few. Accent referred to the large hole as "incidentals" refusing to accept responsibility. Told dealing with destruction you should have more than one contractor. We paid over 7000.00 with the understanding that was the COMPLETE project? Again do your research PRIOR TO!! Don't assume ANYTHING! I also found that HD has someone who goes to various places to visit. DIANNA and CHELSEA has been very helpful and supportive trying to help sort things out. read more

The Home depot is a must stop for prepping my outdoor spaces for the weather ect. I have found many of my plants and items for my home here at home depot. All of my DYI projects have started with a visit at this home depot. My latest project was my antique buffet bar and it turned out beautiful with the help of everyone at Home Depot. The employees here are always friendly and very helpful. Prices aren't more than my neighborhood Lowe's. I highly recommend this home depot to everyone. read more

Very helpful employees. I was looking for motion sensor lights and an employee was right there to help me locate them.

Ordered 100 bags of mulch. Delivered on time to the driveway. Unloaded both pallets to the backyard. Oops! Ordered the wrong product. Return process was made easier by everyone involved. Reloaded both pallets. Pick up for return arrived on schedule. Driver couldn't accept the pallets due to lack of "stretch wrap". Contacted the store and they sent someone out to wrap the pallets. One pallet (50 bags) had to be unloaded so the pallet wasn't too close the other for wrapping and then restacked. The MOD (Manager on Duty) who came out to take care of this was polite and professional and let me know he would reschedule pickup and notify me. Impressive customer service. read more

We went to our local HD in Damonte and their grout steam cleaner for rent is out of service so we went to the HD in Spanish Springs. We were told $85 for the day, turns out, after you return it, it's $102 due to extra fees, etc. I dislike when companies hide fees from the original quote. We would have still rented it but it always feels devious when companies do that. Additionally, they don't go over any instructions when renting it as there is a QR code to scan for videos. The videos are okay but not very thorough and definitely not easy when you have a specific question. On the plus side, the machine worked great and was quieter than we expected. read more

I needed 60 red 12" X 12" pavers, and this store is 8 minutes from my house. I stopped shopping here a long-time ago because it's so bad, but I didn't need anything special. I was there at 1:30 pm and the Garden Shop gate is closed. I went inside and was told they don't have enough people working to open the garden shop registers so the gate cannot be opened either. I was told to push the heavy load through the store to the lumber check out. I went and looked and there are people working inside the garden shop. So, I drove over to Basalite on Gregg Street and got what I needed. I paid more, but they loaded my truck and I didn't have to push a heavy load through a crowded store. I still need 2 more loads for my project, but I won't be getting them from Home Depot. Hey Home Depot, it's warm weather and people want to start their projects and do not want to push heavy loads through the store from the garden shop. read more

The man that "helped" my mom with purchasing new heads for her sprinklers helped solidify that it was a thread problem (we already established that looking at the messed up threading on the heads) but also commented "jokingly"(not funny) that it could just be a female problem when originally attempting to install them. Sorry that my mom is independent and doesn't have a husband to go shop and fix things for her. To be honest, most Home Depot's are very clean organized and so forth it's a pleasure shopping experience usually better than Lowe's however, with this Home Depot, I found that it is very disorganized. A lot of aisles just have inventories to be stocked or it's missing inventory entire store just feels extremely cluttered and unfinished. The aisles feel crowded with things Making pushing carts challenging so simultaneous probably being overstocked and understocked and just very messy. Seems like the store must be very understaffed. Also, it just was limited selection of certain things like flat top grills the presentation in the store with each section just feels kind of half ass compared to other Home Depot's. I've been to that. Have a better Shopping Experience or it's actually fun not just like a warehouse this Home Depot honestly is like don't even really come in and just order online instead of coming here to be honest. read more

I drove all the way from south Reno to go to this Home Depot at the Galleria because they had a Honda lawnmower I was interested in buying because this was the only Home Depot that had them in stock. I went to the lawnmower section where there were 3 employees in the area. I began to look at the lawnmowers but none of the employees offered assistance as I had a couple questions about certain lawnmowers. No a big deal right. Well since no one was helping me, I began to do my own research on my phone and was trying to decide between which lawnmower I wanted to get. The Honda or the Toro. Several employees walked by and never said anything. But what disturbed me was that they offered assistance to a white customer who just got there. I'm not one to play the race card but that bothered me a little. It was obvious I was there for some time interested on buying something. I don't think I was dressed like a scumbag or anything to scare people away. It became apparent that my business was not wanted there so I left. Man I was really wanting that Honda lawnmower. Oh well. I settled for a different brand somewhere else. Thumbs down for the customer service at the Home Depot at the Galleria. First and last time I set foot in that store. Went in Saturday afternoon 2/8 to buy a washing machine. The woman working in the department was helping another customer, however she coudn't bother to acknowledge me even being there, all she had to do was say I'll be with you as soon as I'm done or better yet, called for another salesperson. But she couldn't bother to do either one. So we went to Lowes and bought the same machine. This seems to be typical for this Home Depot store. The manager should be ashamed, so should the saleslady. I went in because I need new countertops. They said they would have someone call me to schedule a measurement within 48 hours (I have that in writing). It's now nearly a week later and nobody has contacted me. I've called the contractor's "sales" (what a JOKE) guy and left message after message, but no one returns my call. I called the store today and waited on hold for over five minutes before finally getting to speak to the manager on duty (Joe), He said they'd get back to me. That's a joke, too. But, anyone that ever has to open a locked cage to get you product always seems like you're the greatest inconvenience in their life. HD is not what it used to be.
