We went with Adam's advice to meet with the SW color consultant, Rebecca, and she has been a godsend. We had narrowed down to all our room colors and it was really helpful to have Rebecca in-home to help us tweak based on the lighting and direction of our home/light sources. Rebecca has continued to be available via text to help as we continue to paint and modify. Every time I go in the store and see other customers hemming and hawing over paint chips, I'm so glad to have Rebecca's helpful advice in my pocket. In addition, Adam, who is always there, is so nice. He always tries to help us get the best discount/pricing and has stayed late to help us when we rush in from our commute back from work. Adam is so patient with our questions and paint requests. There is another SW store closer to the new house/job site that we went to once but we always drive over to the Fairfield location because of Adam and the friendly and attentive service he provides. We are so looking forward to the end of our build but this SW store is one of the places we'll miss frequenting :)

Not only did he have the drainpipe part I needed, he even took the time to cut it to size based on the old piece I brought with me. When we started searching for furniture for our new house a few years ago Derbyshire popped up on just about every list I checked and had plenty of great reviews. Now that we've made a few of our own purchases I totally understand the praise this small business gets. The shop is small but mighty and packed with so many good pieces. If your style leans traditional - they've got it. If your style leans more contemporary/modern - they've got it. Plus a few things in between that could go in either direction and work with just about any style or decor. Everything is solid wood and totally customizable. You can pick your stain or paint plus your hardware (should you order something with hardware, of course). The couple that owns the shop have always been very kind and very patient, answering all the questions... especially when I was coming in every other week for too many weeks to look at dressers before I finally made up my mind. Lead time was accurate, delivery days/times were accommodating and the guys that arrived to place our items were totally courteous. For our last order/delivery the guys didn't leave until they leveled our dressers perfectly. I didn't even have to ask.. they just did it and that's how a good delivery and install team should operate. Truly, I only have good things to say about Derbyshire. Next piece of wood furniture that we need I will definitely be stopping in Derbyshire first to check things out.
