The place is clean, friendly and roomy. I have never gone there and had to wait very long. The food was good, the only complaint I have is that when I ordered the steak I asked them not to trim the fat and it was ignored. The chef we had was entertaining and funny. I have gone previously and the addition of humor from the previous time made it much more enjoyable. I asked for my steak medium rare and it came out medium to medium well. I discreetly asked the waiter if it could be cooked again, which he did promptly. Then manager comes out and argues with me in front of a whole table on how he thinks my steak is properly cooked. And then informs me that he'll tell the kitchen to cook it "rare because that's what I want". Very low class. Will never come back again. read more

Honestly not the fanciest of hibachi style restaurants but the service was great. There were 7 of us, I had the filet and shrimp and it was a great filet for $24. Fried rice was good. For a hibachi style restaurant it is worth the cost at an average of $20 per person. read more

Oh what a great experience! The man and I love going to Hibachi grills and at this one, we both had a great time. The food was amazing, the prices were comparable and the service was great. We had a chef, a waitress and additional staff coming by constantly to clear off any extra plates we had the second we set them to the side. I've never had so many people taking care of me! Of the other hibachi grills I've been to in the city, I think I like this Shiki the best. Going to the Hibachi grill isn't something you do every day, but its a fun option once in a while. The chefs put on a great show while grilling up your favorite hibachi food. I got the scallops this last time, and they were big, plump, and seared exceptionally well. My fiance and I got enough for another meal of leftovers. It's priced about where others are priced. I haven't tried the sushi yet, but I may have to next time. read more

Best sushi in town, in my opinion. Why pay more just to dine in high rent district (Sushi Neko & Musashi's)? Sushi is always fresh, hibachi is always entertaining & cooked to order. When we want sushi, this is our lone destination. The staff is friendly and very helpful with suggestions for those new to sushi (news flash, Okies: it's not all raw fish). I went to Shiki today not long after they opened at 4pm. I had been there once before a couple years ago, but this time I sat at the sushi bar. I am still quite new to sushi type cuisine, but am always willing to try anything. I had the sashimi dinner and it was delicious. It came with miso soup to start and I was able to watch the lady cut and prepare my plate. It consisted of salmon,red snapper,white tuna, ahi tuna, mackerel. The mackerel and tunas were my favorite. The staff was very helpful and attentive as well. The last that prepared my plate showed me pointers on how to eat it and answered any other questions I had. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal there and will be back when in OKC. read more

Good place to go with a larger group. Food is pretty good. Always leave full. You sit around a grill with about 14 chairs or so, so if you don't go with a large group you will be seated with other people. The cook cooks in front of you on a large grill. Kinda crammed seating. Best sushi place in town, the portion they gave you is much more than other places. Prices is about just right. Plus they just came out with the new special rolls, beats any other rolls i tried at other restaurant. You have to come try this place out. Ask for Kevin , the head sushi chef, real friendly guy. I came here and didn't know what to order, he asked me what's my favorite and made some great suggestions. Also they can sometime do your custom order rolls ( only when it's not too busy) . I have tried the Hibachi Grills also, very well performed, although it's the same everywhere. Great service, great food, hot hosteses "wink wink", friendly staff, what else can you ask for in a restaurant. I would recommend this place for any new comer or regular sushi lovers. Come try it out. Try to avoid the rush in the weekend though, cuz it could get real hectic out here. read more

I went today for lunch with my family, and I could not be more impressed. The staff was friendly and attentive. The environment was clean and cheery. We were treated to quite a show by the Hibachi Chef, and everything was delicious. My husband and I stopped at this place. We order hibachi calamari which resulted in a very scarce portion, basically all onion and soja with 2 shrimp and some calamari. We also ordered tempura shrimp 3 shrimp, 1 mushroom and one onion and a piece of brocoli. So small. We were starving after dining so we looked at the desserts, they do tempura on everything, banana tempura, ice cream tempura and cheesecake tempura. I think it was a joke. We decided against desserts, got the bill and went somewhere else to finish dining. Also plates are all plastic, we felt rushed all the time, they did not explain any plates and the carte was small. read more

as always with these types of restaurants, the portions are more than enough. steak was cooked really well, and my daughter(8), enjoyed her steak as well. funny thing is, she received the same portion of steak as a grown man at the table. he would prolly rate it a 3...just for serving size! only thing was the rice was a little over buttered, but overall great time. Poor management, spilt soup on 2 of our party's guest, and said it was an accident that happens all the time and refused to comp their meal, even though one was burned enough that their arm was beat red, and the others lap was soaked in soup and water. Finally after arguing with me loudly, he discounted the mealy 20, another 10 would have covered both their meals. . But damage already done. In my opinion should not even had to ask, after you spill hot soup, and water on someone, I think I would have done everything possible to make up for that, not argue with the Customer. read more
