Half beef half shrimp fried rice. Tiny portion..
    Brennah L.

We came here for a late valentines dinner date. Our server was really nice and explained the menu and answered all questions. I was disappointed that they only have one veggie roll and no steak rolls or non fish protein rolls. I decided to get the veggie roll and get a side of Wagyu skewers to make my own non-fish roll. The veggies roll had 6 pieces and the Wagyu skewers were pretty small. As I took off the Wagyu meat from the stick, I noticed that 70% of it was huge chunks of fat. There were some parts that were just hunks of fat on the skewer. It was disgusting. I've had Wagyu before from much better restaurants. Such a disappointment. I even asks the waiter if they could make my veggie roll and add a protein in it like chicken or steak. Nope they can't do that. Not sure why, just roll it up with the veggies and charge for the meat..... if you like quality steak I would not order the Wagyu. Check out my photos for the chunky globules of fat that were skewered to look like Wagyu. My boyfriend got the fried rice. Half shrimp fried rice and half beef fried rice. For $20 he was also disappointed. He said the beef fried rice was just ground beef fried rice. We went to Jimmy B's and got fried rice and it was so much better. Better quality and better quantity. Better environment too. The seating was also terrible. They sat us next to a loud couple who kept talking about drinking alcohol the whole time. I don't know how they can talk about drinking alcohol for over 30 minutes, but they did. There were so many empty seats and we got seated next to another couple. At least put us two tables down. The bathroom was great. They have a bidet, so that's cool. We would not go back.

Came back for a second experience. Classy and modern. Friendly service! Food is always so amazing fresh. Def high quality and matches the beautiful aesthetics of the restaurant. Def have to drop $150-200 to be content. I had a better experience this time!

Vibes are real high here. Decor is very upscale & chic for a plaza district visit. If you are looking to impress this is a nice find. Service is undeniably good to the point I wanted for nothing. Food: Presentation is what you are paying for here. They have a couple nigiri (stripe jack, blue fin tuna) selections I can attest were on par with other top tier competition but that's about it. My favorite part of this meal was the crispy rice tuna. Deal: Happy hour is from 11am-5pm. Beer is $6, crispy rice tuna is $9. Walk away under $20 for a late afternoon lunch and give yourself a chefs kiss as you walk out.

We had the best experience for a Father's Day/Birthday celebration! The inside of the restaurant is beautiful, and all of our appetizers/entrees were to die for! We had wonderful service and I can't wait to be back.

Incredible ambiance and service was excellent! The food menu is small but don't let that fool you. Presentation of each dish was beautiful and delicious. The quality of ingredients is fresh. Your bill will add up quick between apps, entrees, and drinks.

Food was okay.. not the best sashimi I've had in town. We ordered the $65 sashimi tasting and it was underwhelming. Service started great but once we left we received very rude comments from our server on our Instagram posts! What the??? I contacted the manager who offered us a gift card. We probably won't be back unless it's to use the gift card.

My solo dinner was curated to match my taste palette perfectly. Every dish was assembled with careful consideration and preparation using the finest ingredients. I took time in differentiating between each texture and flavors of the fish, the crafted umami taste in between each bite, while carefully admiring the delicate presentation. Traditionally, I prefer to sip on hot sake when pairing with omakase choices, however, i was feeling quite adventurous that night, so i placed my trust in the waitress, needless to say, she made sure that my drinks were strong, aromatic, and exquisitely mixed to perfection. I wish they would open a location in Socal, I would forever be a fan and dine there weekly. Will return next time I'm in OK again. Thank you Chef and your team, for such a memorable experience.

Takaramono was absolutely delicious! All of the fish was sooo fresh! Absolutely loved the crab claws as well, so much flavor! Our waitress was so sweet & personable! Atmosphere was so nice & peaceful! The bathroom even had a bidet! Hahah Highly recommend this place for nice sushi!

Hands down the BEST sushi in Oklahoma. We had a reservation at 5:30 on a Thursday and it was a great time to go. We got seated in a cool circle booth and the vibes were already good. Our server came over and he was honestly the best. We started with a Lychee martini and a Japanese beer and they both were wonderful. For appetizers, we got the yellowtail and the crispy tuna rice. The yellowtail was very good but the tuna crispy rice was INCREDIBLE. We then got some sushi to share. The eel was great, the salmon was good, the fatty tuna was definitely the best. The scallop was ok just not my favorite. We ended the night with the lemon dessert and the Dubai chocolate tiramisu. Both of these desserts were incredible. As a whole, Takaramono was the best date night spot but be prepared to spend some money (it's worth it)

we loved Takaramono! we ordered gyoza, the crunchy rice tuna, the ceviche, fried rice, toro, salmon, hamachi, and the udon beef noodle bowl. the crunchy rice tuna was hands down the best item!! the fish was so fresh and we absolutely loved it. the ceviche crackers were interesting and not our favorite, but the fish was still great! the gyoza were great and the fried rice was tasty. the udon noodle bowl was lacking flavor and wasn't our favorite. our waiter was so incredible and did a wonderful job helping our big group! we loved the vibes and cannot wait to come back again and again! overall a GREAT new addition to the plaza district!

My absolutely new favorite sushi place in OKC. Spicy tuna crispy rice is one of my favorite foods ever and theirs is hands down THE BEST!!! Such incredible flavor. Very fresh and you can taste the fish. If you love lots of fried sushi and sauces, may not be the place for you. This is simple, delicious, fresh fish with amazing flavor. Also, Amazing staff and beautiful atmosphere. If you haven't tried this place yet, DO IT! Run, don't walk!

Matcha Tiramisu. Creamy with good matcha taste, but it was okay.

In the middle of the Plaza District, outside was cute and small but once inside it's long so bigger than it looked. The decor is modern with 2-3 dozen seatings, mix of booths, half booths, and tables. On the recommendation of Yelp reviews, we only went for the raw foods, forgoing the entrees. The raw foods like the Sashimi Tasting, the Oysters, and Yellowtail were all fresh. Wasn't crazy about their Salad nor the desserts, they were okay. My one small complaint was in the service. The Sashimi Tasting included uni, but when it came it was grilled bits of uni. I told the server I expected sashimi (after all the menu said "Sashimi Tasting"). He talked to me like I didn't know what I was talking about, that uni needs to be cooked. What? But after he talked to the chef, he took the cooked uni back and brought a couple of fresh uni. Expect to pay for the fine dining, but if you want fresh sashimi they have a great variety.

My first 5 star in 2025 (reviewed 3 in Jan and 6 in Feb) and I only had 1 in 2024. The interior decor and food presentation are simply beautiful. Definitely a date destination with someone who appreciates high quality at a price that matches. Our server was excellent and explained everything we asked about on the menu. We asked a lot since this is not a normal sushi restaurant. The sushi, sashimi, etc. are appetizers with 2 to 4 pieces with unfamiliar names. We better understood when items were delivered as they were more like creations than what you normally find. The focus is on quality not quantity. The Miso was the best we have ever had in 30 years and my wife lived in Okinawa for a bit. It was busting with flavor from the ample shitake mushrooms, seaweed and fried tofu strips. The sushi was very fresh and absolutely delicious. The seaweed salad was unique and also delicious. My fried rice was very good and came with a wood spoon which I appreciated. This was a very memorable meal for us!

It was my first time in Oklahoma to visit a dear friend of mine…read more I was looking up some places and doing my research (on yelp, of course) and came across, O bar It's located inside a hotel with parking outside. It's not a far walk. As soon as you walk into the hotel the elevator is straight ahead for the o bar. Located on the 7th floor When we got to the bar (it also has food and cigars) it's open seating. They have a bar seating (of course) lounge couches and a few places to sit outdoors (which, was really nice, but it was still very hot. Even for being late at a night) I loved the ambiance, so 5 stairs for that We sat on a lounge couch and was greeted by Metra and Madison (who all deserve 5 stars) Paige is their bartender (5 stars) Madison and metra were both our waitresses taking our orders They are known for their espresso martini. And they can do it decaf. Metra was really good at making suggestions and Madison was great at making sure our waters were always filled and bringing out drinks. All the girls here did a great job. They had great energy, really knowledgeable and were great at small talk. I loved them After the espresso martini Next up was the - later alligator. Which had -Lychee Vocka | Basil Cin | Cocchi Americano My girlfriend kept ordering a lemon drop and then Moscow mules for the rest of The night PS- garden party, by Paige, is another VERY popular drink. I wish I would of Tried it. Especially since Paige knows what she's doing They had another part of their menu featuring seasonal drinks and mocktails. I wish we also would of tried some of Their food. On some days / nights they have specials. Like cigar specials and some music. I think especially for being a hotel Bar, this went above my expectations. Especially with such friendly and attentive service. I can't wait to come back and visit. Hopefully when it's cooler outside and can sit on the outdoor patio to enjoy the view Everything deserves 5 stars. Even their bathroom was extremely clean I even needed to take some cash out for something and Paige and Madison pointed out that there was an ATM located inside (by the bathroom when you walk out of the bar) Even during a weekday this place was really nice. Heads up- they do not take reservations

I really like O Bar. The space is beautiful, the skyline views are great, the cocktails and food…read moreare good, and the bartender was friendly and attentive. On paper, it should be an ideal place to unwind over a cocktail after work. But somebody in management desperately needs to rethink the music programming. At about 5:30 on a Monday evening, with four patrons in the bar, the soundtrack bounced from Faith No More's "Epic" to Led Zeppelin's "Black Dog," then Tai Verdes' "Two Sugars," Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Black Summer," and finally Green Day's "Stab You in the Heart." The problem isn't the music itself--I actually like much of it. It's that the playlist seems completely disconnected from the room, the time of day, and the energy of the guests. O Bar is giving upholstered chairs, skyline views, martinis, and early-evening decompression. The soundtrack is giving 1973 Camaro doing 87 on I-40. By the time Green Day came on, the disconnect was almost comical: The room: "Would you care for another martini while you watch the sun settle over downtown?" Corporate soundtrack: "STAB YOU IN THE HEART." I politely asked the bartender whether we could switch to something a little more mellow. He couldn't have been nicer, but explained that the music is controlled by corporate and staff aren't allowed to change it. Apparently he has even gotten in trouble for trying to play something more appropriate. That's the part management should pay attention to. Music is part of hospitality design. A sophisticated bar like this needs thoughtful dayparted music programming: Monday at 5:30 is not Friday at 10:30. Nobody is asking for elevator music--give the room personality--but early happy hour calls for something with enough pulse to keep the space alive while staying behind the conversation. The bartender clearly understood the room. Give your staff some discretion, or at least give them playlists that respond to the setting they're actually working in. Excellent bartender. Excellent setting. Good food and cocktails. But the soundtrack was so relentlessly mismatched with the early-Monday atmosphere I wanted that I scarfed down my food and quickly sought Monday-vibe shelter elsewhere. Management: please give this beautiful room the soundtrack it deserves.

Walking in, it was dimly lit & it reminded me of a bar Downtown in Tulsa. We found a table (the place got filled up pretty quick afterwards) caddy corner to the bar & we got help quick. The Oaxacan Old Fashioned looked nice with the orange peel climbing out of the glass & had a really good aroma (I took a big whiff of it). The ginger beer was a spicy ginger beer & it was really good. With every sip, it was opening up my nostrils, it had some spice to it for sure. I tried my friend's Truffle Fries & it's something I'd order, especially if I wasn't as hungry & wanted a "snack". You can smell the truffle while the taste was real subtle.
