I first met Shila in 2007 when she use to work for another well known eyebrow place that I won't mention here. She was my go to threader when I visited that shop, and after awhile I couldn't find her. She ALWAYS knew and STILL knows just exactly how I like my eyebrows styled. I moved back to my hometown late 2010 and it was difficult to find a threader that could do my eyebrows the way Shila did. After a year I went back to Vegas to visit and used yelped to find a threader and low and behold I found "Shila Eyebrows" ... Wondering wow could this be really be her own spot, if so I would not be surprised! I went to come in and found her and was estatic to see her threading. My growing caterpillars on my face were happy to see her because it was time for a TAME! I wasn't sure if she would remember me let alone remember how I like my eyebrows. But when she saw me she said "long time no see!!!" I was pleasantly surprised because she has a TON of fans and customers that she has and for the fact I was gone for so long , that goes to show she appreciates her customers and remembers them! We caught up as she fixed my face with her magical threading fingers. I looked in the mirror and said "there it is! I instantly felt more confident" She still got it, I paid a visit just a couple days ago and I am still satisfied. She's still the best at least for me. I have 2 favorite eyebrow threading salons and this is one of them. I was recommended this place by an old co-worker 2 years ago and have been a fan since there. It's located in the same plaza as Island Sushi. The parking lot is actually pretty small, but they are a few assigned parking spaces for Shila's customers. Anyways, whenever I go I always REQUEST for Shila. Fortunately, they do have a sign in sheet that provides a space in which you can put down who you want to thread your eyebrows or whatever else. There are a lot of people who wait for Shila so don't be surprised at the possible wait you might have to endure. She's very good at what she does and she definitely takes her time and pays attention to detail. I've tried my share of eyebrow thread artists and none compare like her. read more

Shila is the absolute best eyebrow artist I have ever been to. I have been going to her before this place was even open, and I am so happy that she has her own place now because she is amazing at what she does. She knows the exact shape that I like and always does a great job, unlike other eyebrow artists or threading salons I have been to. This is the only eyebrow place I go to because I trust them so much. I get my eyebrows and upper lip threaded each time and she is so quick and efficient that it only takes about fifteen minutes, it does not even hurt, and I never ever break out from it! The salon itself is so clean and a great atmosphere. I normally go to Shila herself because I am used to her, but when she is unavailable I go to the other eyebrow artists as well because everyone that works there also does a wonderful job. I have been going to Shila since 2007 and have followed her to serval different salons. I am glad she has her own now. Since her location is in Henderson and I don't, I tried to go somewhere else. They messed up my eyebrows and I had to go straight back to Shila to fix them. I wont go anywhere else ever again. She always takes her time. I usually don't like witch hazel on my face so Shila always gives me an ice cube to soothe my face. So I usually dont adventure out when it comes to my eyebrows, eyelashes,hair. I have my ladies I have been seeing for years that I trust most. However I had an emergency for my cousin's wedding and needed a quick clean up of my brows. I was filled with anxiety because many times I had to do this and people butchered my eyebrows or hair. While in waited in the shop I watched everything like what particular employee customers are asking for and the environment I was in. I've never done any maintenance on my eyebrows before and it was my first time getting anything threaded. This being said I looked up the closest and best place to get this done and the first to pop up was Shila Eyebrows Threading. I walked in a few minutes after it opened and was greeted and asked to sign in. A lady with the first name Rad-something (terribly sorry I couldn't remember nor pronounce it) sat me down and asked how I would like my brows to be done. After saying its my first time and never having done any treatment to my eyebrows I was looking for a natural look and have it cleaned up. She was careful and asked me questions whilst threading my eyebrows. She even told me that the first time would hurt and it'll get better after every treatment. After a good 10 minutes she showed me a mirror to look through and I was quite pleased. My eyebrows looked nicely groomed (a lot better than it was before) and a lot cleaner. There were no hesitations and she did a great job trimming it to fit my face. I believe Shila was there but she was busy with another customer. I would say $10 isn't a bad deal especially since other places I've seen on Yelp charge more. That being said they were really nice and did a great job. I have been going to Shila for threading since around 2009. This was long before she opened her own salon. I lost her and then found she had open a new shop right around the corner! She is amazing and everyone of her staff are amazing. My eyebrows always look perfect! Shila was the first person to thread my eyebrows (at Eyebrows R Us) when I decided to switch over from waxing. I lost her for a while when she left Eyebrows R Us and my eyebrows were sadly mistreated by many other people. So glad I found her again here at her own place!! This place is located in the same lot as Island Sushi in the left hand corner next to a pet spa. When you walk in, you sign your name on a clipboard stating what services you'd like and with who... always request Shila if you want your brows groomed properly! Shila is the ONLY person I go to no matter how long the wait is! That being said, I try to catch her Monday - Thursday when I get off work because I'm not a fan of waiting. Seems like Friday nights and Saturdays all day are her busiest times (everyone's trying to look good for the weekend, I get it). Shila's super sweet and attentive. She listens to how you'd like your brows done so that they're not arched up too high or too thin/thick. Always shows you when finished and very understanding if you ever feel the need to make adjustments (never happens because she's pretty spot on). Highly recommend her! I've never gone to anyone else in there but judging from other reviews, they don't sound as awesome as Shila! Eyebrows are $11 but check in on Yelp and it becomes $9 before tip! If you want to have your upper lip and/or your entire face threaded I believe there's a combo deal, but I'm a wimp and can't handle all that so I'm good with just the brows :) read more

I've been a customer for 3 years on and off beccause of uncostinent work. Last time I went around 8:30 ish, about half an hour before They close and asked if they can do it and they said yes. I told her NOT to touch the shape. I have perfect thick eyebrows and I am very picky about eyebrows. It had taken months to get the perfect eyebrows I wanted. The girl who did my eyebrows spent exactly 3-4 minutes on my eyebrows and totally messed them up. Its uneven, and very very thin. She cut it so much I can see the skin under. I cannot speak for any of the workers there except for Shila. I am middle eastern so my eyebrows are very important to me and hard to deal with. I have scoured through all of Las Vegas and Henderson to find that almost-perfect eyebrow place, and here it is. Not only is Shila very friendly, but she is very experienced as well. She understands my needs and is willing to put up with my nagging. There were a few times that my eyebrows did not come out completely even, but she was willing to fix them without being disgruntled. The only issue I have is with the wait time. It typically takes approximately 30 minutes before she can see you and that's because most people request her. I have not tried any of the other girls out, so I can't speak for them. read more

Okay. so I waited to write this review to see how my eyebrows would look a couple months after going every two weeks. Let me tell you..... SHILA IS MY GIRL!! She fixed my messed up eyebrows! One was straight with no arch and the other was a perfect looking eyebrow. I'm literally after going to her one time they were amazing. I've been coming to see Shila for some time now and it's never a disappointment. I get my eyebrows done about every two-three weeks and more regularly than not I book through her website for an appointment which is very easy to use. She is always really busy but with an appointment I get right in and seen so I definitely recommend an appointment if you want to see Shila she's booked up for a reason! If you don't have one she will still make time to see you which I appreciate for the times I cannot make an appointment. She offers two locations which is very convenient and both of her locations are very clean and up to par. I've been to other places before I came across Shila and was never satisfied anywhere to be a regular customer until I came to her. She also provides a punch card that will provide you with a free service after your punch card is complete which is always nice!
