Due to this year's change in insurance. I've had to suffer the ineptitude of Molina...particularey any mental health protocol. Shocking! and potentially harmful. 100% incompetent/ negligent. As for the ophthalmologist I saw, he was not friendly and dismissed my concerns. He almost laughed them off to be honest. I haven't felt that disrespected in a while. Wouldn't recommend.

The care of the patient I was visiting seemed friendly and caring, tending to her pain level needs sensitively. She did have one nurse that she thought was insensitive to her needs and talked to her in a condescending tone. The last straw was when she was made to feel like it her fault that she fell (patient is a fall risk), so she ended up requesting a new nurse and all was great after that.

The amount of miscommunication we experienced during our stay was outstanding. I came into the hospital 2 days early to have my care coordinated due to a high risk pregnancy and we didn't see any specialists during that time despite asking/reminding nurses and doctors . We didn't speak with anyone about the delivery "game plan" until the morning of so it felt like my extra two day stay was completely unnecessary. Additionally, I experienced a post delivery emergency and was sent down to get an MRI and CT without a gown and with medical patches on and that seemed to greatly irritate the MRI tech. Whenever I had a question I was directed to a specialist (obgyn, neurologist, anesthesiologist, etc.) that would then direct me back to the person I originally asked the question to. And my final complaint is that all the lactation consultants gave me conflicting information. Overall my stay felt sloppy and uncoordinated. I didn't feel very confident about the care received and the billing that followed was equally as disorganized. In comparison to an earlier stay I had a sharp memorial, the experience was night and day. I would avoid UCSD if at all possible moving forward. Sharp care was very organized and much more professional.

INDEED, they immediately took care of 2 of 3 of my Problems, which I had hoped for. ER DOC Buckley and Hospital Doc Doctor DAN ZHENG took very, very good care of me. When I was admitted to the hospital, Nurses SAM and YAEL, and Alyssa also were there and supportive. FOOD SERVICES provided great food from the start, Ravioli with Cheese. Breakfast was Eggs, Pancakes and Bacon. My NURSE, gave me a Diet COKE!!! I also have to say something about the OBSERVATION ROOM, very nice and roomy, AND DECORATIVE. PT Kelsey came to see me in my room and ordered a smaller, collapsible walker for my apartment. In the NEW ROOM on the NEXT DAY, they performed lots of different tests. FURTHERMORE, I was able to do some walking around the 5th Floor, with the help of Nurse Assistant ASHEWA. I would say that Nurse BRIAnA, could use some tips on bedside manners, THOUGH!!! On my Second or Third Night, NURSES Anna and Wilma were both back to help me, THANK GOODNESS!!! I especially want to thank Wilma, for her help with my Shower. UNFORTUNATELY, Nurse 'BRI' Brianna showed up the next day as well. I felt that did everything she could ( or actively worked against the needs of the patient/ME), to make my stay AS UNPLEASANT AND AS UNCOMFORTABLE, as possible. It just may be her NURSING NATURE, which is sad for her, and SHARP!!! I had a fantastic experience with my MRI, once getting there. I want to give a shout out to the whole team of GABRIEL, SEAN, and DOMINIQUE!!! I have a bad back and doing these things can be painful, but they provided a Triangular Wedge for my legs. In addition, they provided a pillow for my neck. I'm now 1 THING/treatment away from going HOME, but of course I'm in the hands of Nurse Bri. I can't say CHARGE NURSE HEATHER, has been a stand up Charge Nurse. On my last night, it was a whole new world with a whole new staff', including RN CONNOR, NAWIT AND CHARGE RN SHANNON. From how he treated my bloody nose or how he dispensed medication. THEN, during my shower, CONNOR changed the sheets on my bed for the first time. MY PINK HAIRED NURSE Rhiannon saw to it that my discharge went as flawless as possible, coordinating with my doctor and transportation!!! Thanks to ALMOST EVERYONE ON 6 NORTH!!!

At least 2 cardiologists said his heart condition was like 'a ticking time bomb,' and needed the heart surgery but.... first needed to treat the sepsis which involved tests and antibiotics for two weeks at the hospital. Afterwards was transferred to a skilled nursing facility for more monitoring before the actual heart surgery. To keep this brief, the heart surgery was over 11 hours of which was an excruciating time of nervousness for me. Well, the surgery was successful and as of today, after 2 years, my dear friend is alive to talk about it, although he was sedated all that time and can't recall much. He has other medical issues subsequent to that surgery but is not as life threatening. I've waited this long to write this review, because sometimes when surgery is a success, the patient's diagnosis post surgery can decline rapidly. Not so much in my friend's case, he's Alive!! Heartfelt Thanks to the very capable experienced cardiologists/surgeons and the cardiology team of nurses and staff at Scripps Mercy who earned my high Recommendation.

I had a very bad experience when I was transported to their Sharp Grossmont Hospital Emergency Department on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, My reason was due to a really Serious Medical Condition that I was in excruciating pain in my right leg, I have an active (Blood Clot) currently in my right leg, I don't recommend anyone accepting medical treatment from this Grossmont Emergency Hospital because of their longer wait times in their waiting room lobby. My medical condition is very serious, I have a current (small blood clot) in my right leg which I feel a tingling sensation from this right leg every day and at night too. I had to wait in their Emergency Room Lobby for 6 Hours. I checked into their triage counter at 6:41 PM until 12:30'AM on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. I was transported from a Falk Ambulance company from my house that I called 911 on Wednesday, June 10. 2026. I called 911 Emergency because my right leg pain was getting worse with chronic pain in.my right leg. I didn't chose to ho to this Sharp Grossmont Emergency Room Hospital. This Paramedic recommended to me that I should be transported to this Grossmont Hospital in their Emergency Department. His reason was because Sharp Grossmont Emergency Department is closer and 6 miles away from my house. I asked to be transported to the Sharp Memorial Hospital in La Mesa, CA that was only 9 miles away. I should have read the really bad Yelp Reviews first on their former patients who were treated badly from their medical staff. I didn't have any free time to read these bad reviews on the Yelp website The Grossmont Emergency Department Medical Staff was very unprofessional towards me and Dr. Chris Young this Emergency Department Doctor working that evening acted very rude and he ignored me the 6 hours I was pushed into a wheelchair by Pat this man Nurse who works for Dr. Chris Young. It was about 3 hours later the time now was 9 PM. My name was only called once by this nurse in the waiting room. I was told by Pat this nurse that Dr. Chris Young might order a Complete Blood Count and he MIGHT Order a Ultrasound Doppler Machine to check to see if I have a New Blood Clot in my right leg. I decided to go eat in the Cafeteria because I was very hungry. I told this red haired younger woman whose working as a volunteer at the back end of the Emergency Department Hospital. I asked her, Is It Okay for me to leave the Emergency Department? She said YES! This Volunteer walked me outside of their Emergency Department then we walked into their other Building down a very long hallway that said Cafeteria. I ate in their Cafeteria from 9 PM until 10:30 PM. Then after I was finished eating my dinner, I walked out of the Cafeteria Building and I walked back towards to Emergency Department Building where Blanca this security guard was working that evening. I had to check back into the Emergency Department with Blanca. Then I walked up to the Security Desk at the front area. This Security Guard white woman with white hair said to me in a rude voice ARE YOU A PATIENT IN THE ER? Then I said YES! Then I said to this Security Guard, Look at my Arm Band with (my Name., Date of Birth, my Medical Record Number, and my CIS Number). Then I said to this elderly woman security guard. Here is my Drivers License so she can find my NAME and my MEDICAL RECORD NUMBER. This white haired senior citizen women security guard then told me she can't find my NAME and my Medical Records have been DELETED from the Sharp Grossmont Hospital Computer Database. I asked WHY? This security guard told me, because if the Nurse in the Emergency Department waiting ER Room has called a patient's NAME (3 times ) and this patient has walked out of their hospital or the person isn't there in their waiting area, then the security guard will DELETE their Medical Information from their computer. I said that's a really STUPID RULES.
