Due to this year's change in insurance. I've had to suffer the ineptitude of Molina...particularey any mental health protocol. Shocking! and potentially harmful. 100% incompetent/ negligent. I was transferred at least 8 times, plus "call-back" numbers...simply trying to obtain a 10-15 minute appt with a genuine MD, specializing in Psychiatry. ALL I require is the continuation of existing meds prescribed by my last Dr. What's so hard about that? I spent from 11:30am to 4pm exhaustively TRYING to connect to a legit psychiatrist's office to make a simple appt!!! What the hell is wrong with you people?!? i USED TO TRUST YOU. 4 1/2 hrs is LONG ENOUGH!!! I've been patient, mindful of my tone, complimentary of stellar customer service....though lacking in results. You should be ashamed!!! I miss my PPO!!! You suck!!!!!!!

The care of the patient I was visiting seemed friendly and caring, tending to her pain level needs sensitively. She did have one nurse that she thought was insensitive to her needs and talked to her in a condescending tone. The last straw was when she was made to feel like it her fault that she fell (patient is a fall risk), so she ended up requesting a new nurse and all was great after that.

We didn't speak with anyone about the delivery "game plan" until the morning of so it felt like my extra two day stay was completely unnecessary. Additionally, I experienced a post delivery emergency and was sent down to get an MRI and CT without a gown and with medical patches on and that seemed to greatly irritate the MRI tech. Whenever I had a question I was directed to a specialist (obgyn, neurologist, anesthesiologist, etc.) that would then direct me back to the person I originally asked the question to. And my final complaint is that all the lactation consultants gave me conflicting information. Overall my stay felt sloppy and uncoordinated. I didn't feel very confident about the care received and the billing that followed was equally as disorganized. In comparison to an earlier stay I had a sharp memorial, the experience was night and day. I would avoid UCSD if at all possible moving forward. I used to take this Blood Thinner for almost 3 years back in 2020 and I was fine I had no Problems with it. But as I got at an older age, I learned that everyone's body system breaks down as we age. Things do happen differently. This Emergency Room Doctor gave me a prescription of this Blood Thinner. It's not just this ER Doctor's fault because he didn't know my skin body system has changed and I am more sensitive to Allergies. Thus Emergency Room Doctor still treated me with respect and gave me quality care.

After a total of 4 hours, and lots of warm blankets, making sure our friend was comfortably lying down, and ice water (for me) we were able to pick her up and take her back home - headache free. My husband and I have taken family and friends to the ER for years and to my recollection, this was the fastest-in and fastest-out with success that we can remember. Upon arrival, I remained quiet and sat alone in the emergency room. This was my first experience at this particular facility, as I had only visited Scripps Green and Scripps Lajolla. During my ER wait, I felt anxious and apprehensive. The atmosphere in the emergency room was unsettling, reminiscent of a crime scene. A security guard wielded a long red stick, threatening to strike a homeless individual who refused to comply. The homeless individuals present responded with aggressive behavior, including yelling and screaming. After approximately one hour, I was summoned back to the hospital. The only available bed was located in the hallway, not in a private room. I endured a two-hour wait before receiving a CT scan. The CT scan technicians were unprofessional and sarcastic, giving rude looks, exhibiting a lack of courtesy and respect. Furthermore, four male nurses or staff members stationed at the entrance to the registration area engaged in inappropriate behavior, cursing and acting in a manner that belied their professional roles. Many of the nurses walked the hallways with egregious attitudes. NEver seen four of the female nurses act this way, I really was asking myself. ..Why am I still here in this ER and not driving myself to Scripps La Jolla, or green hospital. I Simply asked one of the nurses where the nearest restroom was..she gave me a go to hell look and walked right past me, not even answering me. In contrast, my attending physician, Dr. Katherine Ross M.D., was exceptionally pleasant and attentive. I had no complaints about her bedside manner. I am scheduled to undergo surgery at this hospital in the near future, but I have decided to cancel the appointment. I intend to seek care at a safer hospital where I feel secure and where professional medical staff conduct themselves with professionalism and respect. I will thoroughly review my medical bill with my insurance provider to ensure that I am not overcharged. While I appreciate my surgeon's expertise, I will not undergo surgery in an environment that induces fear and discomfort. I strongly advise individuals considering this hospital to exercise caution and explore alternative options. I have great insurance. I am not going to be paying to be treated like a piece of Garbage, to be scared and frightened in a ER. UCSD Hospital, Scripps Lajolla, and Scripps Green are all safer alternatives. Only.

I requested to be driven to Sharp Memorial Emergency Hospital in Claremont, CA. Because this Hospital was recommended by my good friend Michelle. I finally became a new patient at Sharp Memorial Emergency Hospital afterwards on July 2, 2026. Everyone of their ER Doctors gave me excellent medical treatment and I only had to wait 10 minutes to be assigned a bed in their Emergency Room. Unfortunately , I was convinced by a Falk Ambulance Paramedic to go to this Sharp Grossmont Emergency Hospital. My Date of Service on Wednesday on July 10, 2026 from a (6 Hour Tine Period) at my Arrival Time 6:30 PM until I was discharged from 12:30 AM. I have experienced a Traumatic Event from being IGNORED, DisRespected and I received NO Medical Treatment from Dr. Chris Young. Dr. Chris Young is the most UNPROFESSIONAL person and a JERK ER Doctor I have ever met. Dr. Chris Young has committed Fraud by doing nothing but charging my Medi-Care Insurance Company and charging my Medi-CAL for giving me NO MEDICAL CARE for my very serious DVT (Blood Clot) in my right leg. I was not in stable condition on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. The reason I was picked up from my house in San Diego, CA was because the swelling in my Right Leg has gotten worse and I had other symptoms that accompanied my very serious Medical Condition. My symptoms was very high Blood Pressure, my Blood Pressure was 184/71. That's the first time I had elevated Blood Pressure because my Blood Pressure has always been 120/60 and I felt like I was going to faint. That was a big red flag that me as a patient needed to be examined by an Emergency Room Doctor immediately. I also have filed a Report and an Official GRIEVANCE Complaint with my Insurance Company Blue Shield Promise of CA on July 18, 2026. Then I received this official document that was mailed out to my residence from Blue Shield Promise of California. There was supposed to be a 30 days Investigation by the CA Medical Board of Directors . I learned that from the outcome of this Investigation on Dr. Chris Young , his lazy Medical Assistant Pat and the incompetent Registration Clerk named Tiffany who she asked for my Social Security Number. Tiffany asked for the last 4 digits on my social security number then she wrote down my (4 Digit Number) on the yellow Post It Note. Tiffany was supposed to type my Social Security Number into her computer and also to save my Medical Records electronically for the Registration Office. I saw Tiffany didn't type up NONE of my necessary personal information into her computer like my Full Name , my Date of Birth, my Home Address and she didn't ask for my Drivers License for Identification. Some of the people they hire to work for Sharp Grossmont Emergency Hospital are very ignorant and incompetent like Tiffany was. Tiffany said , she is going to throw away my Social Security Number that she had written the last 4 digits of my Social Security Number on a Yellow Posted Note in her Trash Can on July 10, 2026. I told Tiffany NO because some person will use it to steal my identity. I told Tiffany to shred my Social Security Number on the Yellow Posted Note using her paper shredder for my security. Then Tiffany I saw finally agreed with me. That's the standard procedure to shred patients social security number to prevent identity theft. When Arianna this Blue Shield Promise of CA Grievance Coordinator called Dr. Chris Young regarding this Grievance Complaint that I had filed and reported against him and his medical employees. Dr. Chris Young LIED and told Arianna that my name was called by him (5 Times). My Name was only called ONCE. That was to check to see if I was still waiting in their Emergency Room. Yes I was waiting there for 6 long hours without No Complete Bloid Test that I asked to be ordered and me to take to see my Blood Test Results and No Ultrasound Machine was done on my Right Leg to confirm the diagnosis that I have a Blood Clot. I also was Ignored the whole time for 6 long hours. I was not assigned No Bed in the back Emergency Room and I received No Blood Thinner . Dr. Chris Young was also harassing me in the Emergency Waiting Room Lobby. Dr. Young was trying to force me out of their Emergency Room. I told Dr. Young he doesn't own this Sharp Grossmont Emergency Hospital so he cannot make me leave. I continued to call a Uber Driver to pick me up at the back of the Emergency Department Building. I am going to fight for my rights and fight for Justice. BMy advice is Please don't go to Sharp Grossmont Emergency Hospital because some of their Doctors are committing FRAUD.
