What a joke. Room - asked for two beds, received one Room - stains, outdated, hole in the wall, content is not even consistent between roons Bathroom - only given two towels for three people Hot water - lucky if you have it Shower head - I'm 5'10 and had to duck to get my head wet Shower head - only comes out like a jet spray setting. Knob doesn't adjust setting as it should. It hurt to shower! Trying showering a little kid with that! Breakfast - continental breakfast but food is rarely stocked. Mostly carbs and if you are lucky, you'll get a boiled egg. Unfortunately, they are frozen if they finally refill the container. Yes. Frozen boiled eggs. Pool - never have towels. People diving constantly although it's prohibited. My other guests had to switch rooms because it wasn't functional. They got a "new" room that rarely had hot water or wasn't working. They also had their key card to the room accidentally revoked and couldn't get in until they were able hunt down the staff. They then seemed puzzled that they reserved a room for two nights instead of one. They were promised a credit due to the MANY issues they faced and when it was time to check out, they had no clue what they were talking about. Not what I expected from Shilo Inn. Maybe I was in the cheap seats (lower building), but it was not worth the price. The rooms are old and out dated, a major face lift is needed. I do like the old school look in the lobby and bar, Frank Sinatra playing on the radio. But the rooms look like the original furniture, beat up and dirty. It did have a tube tv from the 80's so some updates have been done. Nice property and would stay again and pay more if I was assured not to get this same room. So much potential, just needs more character and a good cleaning. read more

My family moved from Arkansas to Oregon recently. We had a realtor that was working with us to find our dream home to buy. My husband and I moved everything we own, our 3 kids, and our family cat. Our realtor had us book with the Shilo for the first month we arrived because they are pet friendly and it would allow us to find our home. We arrived and checked in. Sara checked us in. She asked if we had a dog. We said no. We had been on the road for 4 days driving with our entire family. We were exhausted! She seemed friendly and handed us the keys. Fast forward 3 days later. We get a knock at the door. It was Sara. This time she was yelling very loud at my husband accusing us of sneaking our cat in and lying. My husband who wanted to end this because it was happening infront of our kids told her he would meet her at the front desk. She continued to scream at him telling him the cat had to go or we had to go that night. My husband asked for our money we paid upfront for the month and Sara informed us it was nonrefundable. WHAT?! It was Saturday evening and we knew no one in Oregon. We tried calling animal boarding places but they were either booked or were closed and didn't open until Monday morning. My husband went to the front and explained the situation. Sara had calmed down and was very helpful. She even apologized for the unprofessional way she came at us. She had printed 3 animal boarding places and numbers to try but again we got the same answers. Sara insisted the cat could not stay until Monday morning no exceptions. My husband then went on to ask for a copy of what we signed stating we could not have a refund. Sara began screaming (not raising her voice but full on screaming) that she wasn't going to show him and if he had any questions he could call her manager. My husband let it go and stepped away so he could continue to treat her with respect and not lose his cool. He came back to the room and we called the only person we knew to call...the realtor. She came and kept our cat until Monday so we could find a place to board our family cat. We found a place that cost $34 per day. That was super expensive but our only option at the time. Sara did come back and inform us that after looking she could refund our money but it would be Monday before she could because we paid cash. Our realtor was blown away by the actions of Shilo and told us she has almost all of her clients book at Shilo but she would never recommend it to anyone again. I am still so thankful our realtor took our cat so my family wasn't sleeping in a car that night without money to get another room or a place open to board our cat. Anyways things worked out even with the rough experience dealing with Sara. We are people who tend to keep to ourselves and not stir up a fuss so we never contacted the manager. Fast forward 3 weeks. I went down stairs at the shilo to do our laundry. I pass a door with a note on it and it catches my attention... "Please do not open door. Cat inside will escape.". I am heartbroken that we are without our family cat and paying $34 a day for her to be somewhere else when another family is getting to keep their cat. My husband went to the front desk and wouldn't you know it was Sara. She was friendly. He asked her about the cat and she again immediately turned and started yelling at my husband. She was screaming she didn't check that person in and acknowledged she knew about the cat but they had paid a deposit. My husband asked why we couldn't pay a deposit and keep our cat. That question was never answered. Sara just continued to scream full on telling him to call the manager and leave or she would kick us out (the second time threatening to kick our family out). Because it was late my husband didn't want to bother the manager but the following day he did call him. No answer. My husband left a message explaining our experience with Sara at Shilo. It's been a few days now and we have yet to receive a call back from the manager. I am not upset about their policy on cats. I am upset about the lack of professionalism from Sara and the lack of response from management at Shilo. I also think if you are going to have a policy in which no cats are allowed it should be across the board. Why one person is allowed and the next person not is unclear. read more

We showed up and as they checked me in the entire building lost electricity. I was not given a key to a room they put me in. I only stayed the one night. There was electricity in one of the bathroom lights and one outlet so we know it was only one of the buildings power boxes to go out. Not the entire block as the front desk was attempting to tell us. The front desk guy that checked us in said we would recieve compensation if we decided to stay still. The following morning, after the desk lady gave a different guest a discount in front of me, i was told I'd already been charged, which I was not present for (they ran my card without me there), and she would do nothing to assist me. They said I would recieve an email which I still have not recieved. I will not stay again. And I will be emailing they're corporate at this point. Unprofessional, decietful, and rude. read more

If our single night was a penny more than the sub $100 we paid, I would be much harsher. Still, the truth must be told. The room we were placed in seemed like a direct result (read: punishment) for booking through a third party. The shower would shut off if you try to crank all the way over to hot. The clock radio was unable to be adjusted after we had to plug it back in. The carpet near the mini fridge was wet from what I assume was something amiss with the fridge itself. I get it; the building is old and renovating is expensive. All that said, it met our basic needs for one night. I would not recommend this hotel. The place needs millions worth of improvements. The posted photos will tell the story, but if you can't see them clearly, here is what we found in not one, but two rooms ... before we left for another hotel: Dried grass pieces, like from someone cleaning a lawnmower or a golfer's shoes on the heating/air conditioning unit and surrounding carpet. Heavily stained sheets and pillowcases. Bloodstains on a chair and wall. Food crumbs on the sticky table. Large purple/red stain on the carpet near the bed. Heavy cigarette smell. Dirt on lid of toilet seat. Ripped chair seat. The staff person at the front desk was apologetic and tried to help us, but when the second room is as filthy as the first, there's not much he could do. read more

It was liveable for a night. Carpeting and upholstery were worn, decor was dated. We just had an old tube tv with no remote. Walls were a bit thin, and the whole place just had a dark, dingy feel. Oh and the beds were ROCK HARD. And this is probably a weird thing to complain about but the ceilings were low and it just made everything feel cave-like. On the plus side it was clean, staff were friendly and helpful, and the courtyard with gazebo and fountain were pretty! read more

It's sad because I used to stay at this location all the time but it's not the same as it once was. I have family in Beaverton so I used to stay here every year with my parents. They used to have an AMAZING breakfast place with great food...but they closed it down and replaced it with a steakhouse that is only open for dinner. They advertise on booking sites that you get free continental breakfast (usually muffins, fruit, coffee, juice, oatmeal, etc.) but we went to the lobby in the morning and they told us they have ZERO breakfast options in the hotel at all. The lobby smells horribly of cigars. They have a lounge connecting to the check-in counter and they must allow smoking. The hallways and rooms have a faint smell of cigars, too. There were some sketchy people hanging out around the parking lot as well. There was an RV with the doors and windows boarded up and a man standing in front yelling at people and peeping in car windows and trying to pull the door handles on the cars in the guest parking lot. The rooms are nice and large. The bathroom is large and has a shower and a tub. However, the blankets are thin and cheap and the television is a box TV with lots of static. If you need a cheap place to stay it's doable. It is decent inexpensive 2-star motel. Would not recommend for families with children. So sad. read more

Yup! It's like the reviews says. This is the shittiest nasty hotel. Carpets stained worse than I have ever seen. Stinks like animals. Old, outdated, maybe from the 80's? It even looks creepy... ok. If it wasn't a free hotel provided by the VA I would leave immediately. The tv is super old, the shower didn't work, only the bath, and I didn't want to take a bath anyway cuz it looks old and nasty with a rubber mat inside. Anyways, the bed was ok. there really is nothing I can say about this room that is fantastic. To start....its VERY overpriced! The water pressure in the front sink was pretty much non-existent, the walls had some reddish stuff that looked as if it had leaked down the side of the wall and dried half way. It was gross. The rooms are spacious, but when you are in there....you may or may not have your laptop or other devices. Well, we stayed there on reservation for 2 nights. Those two nights/3 days we were there , there was NOOOOOOOO wifi!!!! So, we called and reported the problem and he said "oh this happens from time to time when everyone is online" um ok. How is anyone online, if everyone is NOT online, because we were 2 people who weren't...get what Im saying? So, we were hoping the next day that it would be fixed because of all of the check outs. It was out. Out for good....well, at least for as long as we stayed there. They advertise "FREE WIFI IN EVERY ROOM" So, if you rely on your laptop to do business as I had to do, don't rely on them to always have wifi. When we checked in, we had wifi for about 2 hours and then it was gone. There were several issues with the rooms. The beds seem to be ok. Kind of lumpy, but if you laid in the right spot, you would get in a comfy spot. They renovated rooms on the other side of the hotel, but apparently they decided to stop there. The landscape in the courtyard, around the pool, is very "OREGONY" you get that beautiful green, the flowers, the pool, etc. Its very well manicured, trees are beautiful, the fountains in the pool were nice. However, I think all of the $$ spent there? should be shared and put into renovating the rooms. The room was like 169 a night! NOT WORTH IT AT ALL!!!!! and that was a deal from online! Save that money and go to a much better hotel, cleaner hotel, closer to everything else hotel, and sleep better! OH! If you find a deal online and you don't care about the condition of the room...meaning, if you don't mind it basic...then go here BUT DEFINITELY TRY to get into the renovated rooms! Stay away from the rooms in the back of the hotel. I had my dog with me. So, they put me in a room, in the far back part of the hotel...we assumed that was the "dog area/rooms" We were wrong. There were dogs above us in rooms and all over....but where we were...was the lower level hall of rooms...drafty and cold...easy for us to get to if you enter through the back door. The front door at the top of the hill....you would have to carry your luggage up and down stairs...that sucked. This has to the absolute worst motel stay ever. My first room had so many stains on the carpet it was hard to see the original color. The room was dirty and smelled bad. The slider door to the patio was secured only by a pcv pipe. The bathroom was stained and the shower curtain was barely hanging on the rod. The toilet when flushed sounded like it was going to launch into space. After complaining I was moved to a second room and this room didn't receive maid service, the slider door was broken, the toilet was loud and in the morning there was no hot water. The manager on duty assured me that he would discount my rooms and upon check out, only part of the agreed amount was refunded. I would give this less 1 star but the app won't allow it. The rooms have been updated and our bed was so comfy!! I appreciate the in-room microwave and refrigerator, and especially the coffee maker! I was given a room at the back of the property on the ground floor. I was uncomfortable with that since I was traveling alone and they were so understanding about it and quickly put me in a different room. The room was very clean with a lot of room to spread my stuff all over. There was a hair dryer, an ironing board, everything I needed. The hotel is old school with a heavy wood front desk, a giant chandelier, wide hallways-beautiful. The front desk people were so friendly and kind. The grounds surrounding the buildings is so pretty-a gazebo with a fountain, and a nice pool. It looked like a little secret paradise. I will plan to stay at this hotel whenever I get the opportunity to go to the area again. read more

This is a great hotel for Beaverton. Tucked out of the way it's off the main roads and quiet yet close to the freeways and food etc. The rooms are clean and large but the whole place is a step back in time. A little old but quaint. The new woman working was nice. The other older woman was rude and unprofessional. The decor was dark and very outdated don't think it has been updated since the 70's. The beds were very hard all 3 of us woke up sore and achy. The hallway and rooms smelled dank; musty and like mildew. Within 15 min of being in the room we were all congested and coughing. They need a technology update; actual keys instead of key cards and big old TV's. The pictures i saw online made it look so pretty and updated which wasn't the case. I gave it one star because you can't give a zero. Booked a stay on Hotels.com. DO NOT STAY HERE. The hotel is dated and dingy. So @ 3:45 AM the smoke detector started beeping low battery. I climbed up on a chair to check it and the batteries and contacts were corroded. The detector didn't have an install date on it either so no telling if it's service life was over. Since you can't get to the lobby from the room I had to drive up to the lobby to get batteries. Charming 26 degrees this morning. Adding insult to (potentially) fatal injury I tried to take a shower since I couldn't go back to sleep and NO HOT WATER. So do yourself self a favor DO NOT STAY HERE. Pros: Front desk staff very welcoming and professional. The beds in our room we're quite comfortable. These two things are the only reason I give this one star. Cons: Overpriced. Why? Beyond outdated the entire place feels and smells like a long forgotten 1960's era cheap motel. Grungy. Dingy. Almost no water pressure in shower. Our stay at the Shilo Inn Hotel and Suites in Beaverton was very nice. A mini-retreat for Diana, my wife. The hotel is older, but they are working on freshening it up. It was clean, the rooms were nice and the staff was very friendly. The pool and hot tub were clean and very enjoyable. The reason, however for the review and certainly a five-star experience was dining in Lou's Bar and Grill. The restaurant is currently being remodeled, but they are serving in the bar and we were astounded by the quality of food, the atmosphere and the level of service. We ordered off of the Happy Hour Menu because their Happy Hour is from 2pm to 6pm. We enjoyed Clam Chowder that was delicious. It was aggressively seasoned, but not overly so. The clams were fresh and tender and there was plenty of bacon. The Ceasar was very good also. Great dressing, big chunks and of course, lots of bacon. But the coup de grace was the Arancini. Unbelievable. Crunchy, creamy in the middle, filled with flavor. Sooo goood. My wife had Oyster shooters for the very first time and this was the perfect place. The oysters were delicious, fresh and well it was great. The staff was attentive, the food was prepared and delivered timely. I would certainly stay at the hotel again. And even if I wasn't staying at the hotel, I would come here to eat. read more

Best is the bar for drinks and food. Great Pinot, great grilled salmon. Really good. Salmon grilled with root vegetables and goat cheese, great combination, tasty. Look at the pic, really? Stoller Pinot served in a proper glass. Delicious. And the room well exceeds the external motel look. Small bath, but nicely tiled bath, well appointed, handsome, comfortable room. And then the charm settles in as you look around in the back. Gazebo overlooking a pond with a fountain, Japanese maples, well kept grounds, decent pool. This is a "Sideways" kind of place. This place is just one hooker short of a glorified roach motel. The decor and furnishings are like a Duran Duran video barfed all over the place. Gold chandeliers, paisley carpet, dated rooms with cheap, insulting wallpaper. A total of 2 channels on the television. Clearly they still have the same drapes hung up that they did in 1983. We checked in at 4 and waited awkwardly for the maids to finish cleaning. At 4:30 they were done and we dropped off our stuff before eagerly heading to the outdoor pool. It looked charming from a distance but as we got closer, it was as if we had walked right into a convention of trailer park champions. I know hotels can't choose their guests so I dont fault them for this. However, these trailer park champions were chugging Busch Light and smoking Newports while their FUPA hung out.. Their 27 kids named Ethan, ran around and broke all off the pool rules while the parents engaged in a beer shotgunning competition. When we finally made it in, the water was filmy and we couldn't see the bottom of the pool. It would have been more sanitary to take a dive into a Honey Bucket. So we decided to bag the pool idea and go get a drink to help un-see what we had seen. The restaurant attached had happy hour from 3-6. I know it's hard to believe but when we walked in, there were even MORE, 80's pictures hung on the wall. I think the items on the menu were the only thing that was not dated. In fact, they had a nice variety of items and the ahi roll was really good. Another nice thing worth mentioning is that there is a 10% off Yelp check in offer. If it wasn't for that and the fact that they allowed me to bring the dogs, this place is a 1 all the way. They seriously need to change things up and stop charging $155 a night for "No-tell Mo-tel accommodations." read more

Oh Shilo Inn... We gave you the benefit of the doubt the first night. Then it just got interesting from there. I only wish it was in a good way. We booked a hotel room here based on a recommendation from a friend whose family stays there when they go to Portland. Great! Loved the on line rates and was excited to head out for our three night adventure in Portland. I called the 1-800 number for Shilo Inn and informed them that we had a very late night arrival as we were flying into town. I also inquired about a hot tub. I was told that they had one but it was outside and the kind lady confirmed that I had requested a quiet room. We checked and got to our room. Let's back track..... We opened the building to our hotel room and it smelled like a strong mixture of carpet shampoo, old smoke and old 'something'. We didn't say anything to one another; still being optimistic that our room would show better. This is where it really gets sad. It's late and I'm sick. We open the room door and step back into the time travel machine. It registers early 1980s. The smell is still there. I just want to lay down and go to sleep. We talk about requesting another room but it is late and I'm half unpacked. We decide to crash and burn there and leave the window open all night. My fiance calls the front desk and reports an odd 'soapy smell' and wants to see what can be done. The receptionist says she is busy with a customer who is checking in. We never hear back from her. The next morning.... We wake up still smelling the room. Thinking we probably smell like old smoke and soap too. I have a shower only to have the drain backed up. YUCK! We decide to pack up and head to the front desk. The new manager is there and over hears our conversation asking for a new room or we will cancel our remaining nights. He admits that he has never seen all of the rooms. He will investigate and get back to us. The receptionist assures us that we will like this room and it is quiet. So we truck on over to a building on the opposite side from where were were. Although we are close to the door (therefore I wouldn't consider this a quiet room), it is modern and clean almost totally opposite from what we slept in and represents the pictures that we saw on line. We call the front desk thanking them for the change in room and request that our first night be comped. It was like night and day. We felt like the hotel misrepresented themselves on the website based on our first room. A long story short... The manager agreed to take 30 dollars off each of our remaining nights but would not do anything about our first night as we stayed in that room. Other things that happened. No face cloths in our new room and no staff to bring us any. We returned back one day to a nicely cleaned room only to discover that our television remote control was missing. We searched every inch of the room. But seriously... it had disappeared. After three calls from we are not totally sure who... asking us if we still needed a remote... the answer was always an astounding 'YES!'. Forget about the outside hot tub. It had about a foot of dirty water in it and was taped off. So much for that. Why does this Shilo Inn rate two stars for me? We appreciated the last two night's discounts even though we endured a lot of inconvenience. We only ate the complimentary breakfast the last morning of our stay, but it was good. The portion side was just right and the coffee was good. If anyone is looking at renting a room here, I would advise you to request a renovated room in the Executive building. If they give you an old fashion large hotel key, don't agree to the room. You probably will be in one of the time capsule rooms. read more

Otherwise ok, everything worked, had hot water, wifi, tv, and I could see a few new accessories in the bath. Biggest con was their security to the room.They need to add a security lock ($6.48/each at Lowes) to the front door and the breakaway door. The neighbor tried the door several times to see if they could access it. Check-in staff was good, Check-out staff who listened to the security issue, but offered no compensation whatsoever for my checking out early due to feeling uncomfortable leaving my things in the room. Disappointing end. If you like the movie "The Shining", you'll love the 300s suites. Creepy hallway, crooning music from the 20s, and a icy chill hits your neck. lol. read more

Definitely have to agree with other reviewers that this property is a bit old and run down. Price is low and they do have all the essential you need for basic stay. Plenty of parking (free). Would not recommend staying here ever!! The staff lady at the front desk was extremely rude, they moved us to the transhiest room 163 was disgusting. They also charged us a week later and refuse to tell us why they are charging us a week later for the price of a room!!! The place need new management and is a complete disaster! DO NOT STAY AT THIS LOCATION. We were there this last weekend. In my room was a dirty fork left on the floor. When I turned my bed down there was a crusty spot. DISGUSTING. They sent someone to change the sheets. As she pulled the covers a BLACK BUG crawled over the bed!!!! I talked to the front desk and they lowered my nightly rate. I never felt clean in this hotel. Stayed here recently and just needed a room for one night. Room was ok so no issues there, advertised as newly remodled but I couldn't tell. The check in experience was great and the person who helped me was very good at his job, excellent customer service skills! The breakfast was non existant, waited in the dining area for over a half hour with no staff in sight. When I checked out I mentioned it to the person at the front desk who responded "yeah, that's what happens when a person doesn't show up". I replied WOW!, you'd think you would have told the guests or at least made a sign! Needless to say the elderly woman at the counter the next morning had ZERO customer service skills! read more

Never Ever Ever going back to this place! Please save yourself a scare. Mother and daughter traveling from out of town should had never had let them place us in the back of the hotel down a dark hill and next to a woodsy area in the first place. Our first night was a little iffy....second night someone was knocking on our windows between midnight and 1am... called front desk from cell because we didn't even see a room phone at first. They said they'd send someone to check it out, heard his radio saying no one here. At this point we just need to be moved. She placed us up front to a 2 room (I guess suite) Lol.... welp from entering this freezing cold, strange feeling hallway we knew we should had just Left but our room was pre-paid. No doubt we had had a haunted room.... called and asked to come take a feel, it didn't warm up for us until about 3-4 am. Here are the positives: - our room was clean - the bed was reasonably comfortable - I found a good rate on Hotels.com $20 less than the Shilo website (which the Shilo offered to match, but not beat -- so I opted to earn hotel rewards on Hotels.com) The rest: The room was seriously out-dated. It was clearly NOT one of the renovated rooms that are shown in the photos on all of the hotel booking sites as well as their own. I found several reviews at the end of my stay that said "If you have an old room, ask for a new one." Well, that's kind of stupid. This isn't In-N-Out Burger - there shouldn't be a secret menu. It would make a lot more sense to charge a lower fee for the outdated rooms so you are aware of what you're getting. Besides, if you check-in late (as we did), who wants to make the trek all the way to the room with all of your stuff (which is far, this is a massive hotel), with a dog no-less, and then trudge all the way back to check-in to see if they might possibly give us a new room. OR even worse, switching rooms once you've already settled in and realize that there might be nicer ones. Ridiculous. Our room was located in a lower building. The outside door to our building did not lock after a certain time period (see below for murderous feel), which immediately set an initial level of unease. We only had one key (a giant one, circa 1979), which made things interesting since we have a dog (i.e. you cannot go to Target because I might have to take the dog out to shit, etc.) Our room was poorly lit, and there was a wall sconce that looked like someone had body-slammed it against the TV. The whole place screamed of a late-70s basement. It's also worth pointing out that this hotel was VERY empty, and yet not only did they give us an old room, but they gave us a room with a view of an alleyway. We discovered on our last day (literally as we're packing the car) that there is a beautiful courtyard between the buildings. This confirmed that they really gave us one of the most crappy rooms they had, despite having an occupancy of about 5%. This hotel is massive, and has several dark hallways and poorly-lit paths. It had the atmosphere of a hotel in horror movies where you'd get murdered. The fact that it was completely deserted really added to the "constantly check your six" ambiance. All of the public areas REEKED of cigar/cigarette smoke. Thankfully, our room did not. There is free breakfast here (at the restaurant with voucher), but it was so awful that we didn't bother going back after the first morning. The service was rude, the eggs were pasty and gross, and the toast sat on a pile of grease. I would have preferred the typical cereal-waffles-pastries style breakfast to this. All this said, I'm not super fussy with hotels/motels -- all I ask for is a comfy bed, reasonable rate, and a very clean room. This hotel provided those things. I actually might consider staying here again if there was an INSANE discount available, and if I could guarantee an updated room. If you're looking for anything more than that (i.e. friendly service, walkable neighbourhood, no cigarette stink), this is not the place for you. I would rate this place as 2-stars, but the whole "secret room menu" thing really pisses me off, so you only get 1-star Shilo Inn! read more

No!!!!!!!! No!!!!!!!! No!!!!!!!! 1. Every single person I've spoken to at the front desk has behaved as if they can't be bothered. 2. The free breakfast is pretty OK, but once again, we were treated as a bother. 3. While the room we were put in was a "complimentary upgrade", the upgrade consisted of a room straight out of 1982. Stayed here on a road trip down the west coast with wife and baby. Thought we got a 'deal' on hotels.com for $100/night, but this place is worth less than you should pay for a Motel 6. The whole thing is dated and the rooms are sparse. Everything is old or broken. Long lines at the front desk make me even more annoyed. Ice machine broken, told no ice at the restaurant. Really? I would like to start out by saying that my family and I were sharing an anniversary weekend that we labeled the haunted anniversary. It was our intent to stay/visit as many places with a reputation of haunting as we could. So deep down, the overall outcome for us was a mute point, as we would have suffered through anything for the sake of the theme that we had created. The staff was super friendly, and shared in our enthusiasm of the haunted hotel story. Giving us the room above the old piano room. Rooms were extremely basic, with something of an old feeling to them. Our bed felt uncomfortable, but I can't enjoy an over soft pillow top. The worst of it was the lobby. Although it definitely holds a look of something from a creepy 70's back lot set, it has one horrible issue. The whole interior reeks of cigar smoke, due to the cigar lounge it sports just above the front desk. I mean it was bad enough to make my eyes water. The pool was nice and well kept. Weight room a bit towards the creepy side at night. Lighted gazebo, romantic. Continental breakfast not worth the effort, simply grabbed a quick cup of coffee and looked elsewhere for eats. Not all of the pieces fell together enough to warrant a stay for any future travel in the area, but wasn't so disappointed that I would advise others to look elsewhere for an affordable stay. read more
