When I asked why it was taking so long- I got blank stares, grunts, and shrugs. Dayton was slow, and I felt was clueless. In june 2024, the water heater pilot light kept going off. I called for service, but was adamant that they send someone with experience and professionalism. William came out, diagnosed the problem, retrieved the correct part to fix the issue. He was courteous and explained things to me. It was obvious that he was good at his job. So I guess it just depends on the service person they send out to your home. Not all service persons are equal in their expertise.

I feel Fiscor tried to abuse my trust. I made a mistake not remembering the unit was under…read morewarranty. The Fiscor tech, who should have recognized this, didn't tell me. He told me that the refrigerant for my unit wasn't available anymore (untrue), and that the whole unit needed to be replaced. I got an $11K bid, that got retracted for a $7K bid, that got retracted for a #13K bid. I called another company who got it done, parts (not under warranty) and labor, including replacing all the refrigerant, for under $1K.
