It saddens me to give this company one star. I would give zero if I could. On my wedding day I scheduled a 26 pas. coach for 12 noon to pick up my husband and groomsmen and another pick up at 1pm to pick up my braids maids and myself from another location. The men were picked up on time. However I had called the limo company THE DAY BEFORE to make sure ice and glasses were provided. They assured me yes. The day of the wedding there was absolutely nothing provided. Needless to say the guys had to stop and get ice. Strike one. Once the guys were dropped off, late due to no ice, the driver should have headed to get me. The guys were dropped off at the ceremony at 12:35. My hotel was only 18 minutes away. While thinking the limo was down stairs at my hotel we headed to the lobby at 1:05. This would have given us ample time to get to the wedding site since we also had to stop on the way and get food for the bridal party. 1:20 rolls around and we still had received no phone call. Strike 2. It is now 1:25 when my bridesmaid had to call the limo company. I received several different stories about why he was late. Once Sherry heard how irate we all were she asked if we wanted her to cancel the limo but he would be to us in 5 minutes. She was very rude and unapologetic. It's now 1:35 and still no limousine. So we called Sherry back again and she gave us an entire new story of why he was late. Strike 3. Because we were so late we were not able to get the food for the bridal party. My aunt volunteered to go get it for me and bring it to the ceremony. Once the limo got to us at 1:40 just 20 minutes before the start of the wedding. We were greeted with " are you guys ready?" I responded..."I've been ready for 40 fucking minutes." To which I still received no apologies. Strike 4. Because of this and the bouncing around due to terrible driving drinks were spilled on my dress and my aunt missed me walk down the isle. We can never get that back. It snowed and while people were waiting in 40° weather we now have a huge group of sick people. I was assured I would be comtacted by a supervisor and I was not. I had to call them 10 days after the incident!!!! I originally asked for 30% back when it really should have been way more. The supervisors are not very helpful and once I told them I needed more off they oh so graciously offered me an extra $40. Strike 5. I'm truly insulted. They told me they were going to be eating the fuel costs as if they were trying to make me feel bad about it. I am truly not happy with anything they provided me with. I am however, grateful I work with brides from all over the area daily so I can advice them against this company. read more

Shima Limousine Service was NOT the perfect shuttle service for my wedding. Shima was hired to move my wedding guests from the hotel to the reception hall and back to the hotel at the end of the reception. We hired the 37 person bus and received a van and a stretch limo instead - NOT WHAT WE ORDERED! The quality of service and responsiveness from the Shima office was dreadful. While the driver was professional and arrived to the hotel promptly he chose to cut the return shuttle service short stranding 60 of our guests at the reception hall. Our guest spoke poorly about transportation service and it was a black mark on our wedding day. I encourage you to avoid Shima Limo Service at all costs. I've had better luck with A-1 Mr. Limo and should of went for quality or the cheap cost of Shima. You get what you pay for! read more

We have used Shima several times in the last several months, from an airport run to a pickup and drive downtown to a couple parties of a dozen people each. We were extremely happy with the reliability and service each time. The billing was also very reliable. Some of the negative reviews are from a longer time ago. I too have had a bad experience with Shima. Last week I booked a limo bus through Shima and was quoted a price by sales associate Tony but when I went to pay, I was surprised to see the price was $100 more. I asked to speak with the manager and I was NOT rude. I am a district manager for a major retail company so I know being rude gets you no where. I was then helped by Michele Shima who told me that I was mistaken, "There's no way we gave you that price hunny", "I can tell you're lying hunny" she kept saying. I was not lying and I was being polite. I asked to speak with someone that was above her. "There's no one above me hunny. This is the end of the line hunny." She told me that she was the owner and that she wasn't giving me the price I was quoted. I asked her if they recorded their calls because I wasn't lying to her. It was a $60 difference and it wasn't about the money, it was about the principle. The last time I booked with this company I tipped the driver an extra $200 on top of my quoted tip. I'm just upset about the whole situation. There are other limo services in the area; chose one that has those with integrity working for them. read more

We ran 20 minutes late and the driver turned the music off, and told us that we "better be off the bus in 3 minutes when we get there. I'm not even joking." My friends got this limousine service for my bachelorette party Saturday, October 24, 2015. The bus showed up and the driver Kurt was extremely unfriendly and made it clear that he was just a point to point limousine driver. When I asked him where the light switches were and how to use them all he said was it's in the back. No help whatsoever didn't even greet us or say hello or even congratulate me. We went to one place for about 20 minutes and then went to our dinner reservations at grand River cellers.after dinner about 9 o'clock we decided that we were going to go to our next destination. When my friends went to check on it in the pouring rain they found the bus driver outside with the hood open to a dead bus. The bus driver was not accommodating whatsoever and told us that he couldn't do anything until he talk to his boss, which we understood. Another bus, a very small one arrived and was attempting to jump the bus that we had.The entire time the bus driver, Kurt, was talking about how he can't believe how they were supposed to replace the battery three weeks ago and they didnt. I was getting upset so I went out and said to the new bus driver, Robert, can we please just take this bus we're killing time it's already 1030 can we just get to our next destination. He said sure so we got all of our stuff and put it on the very small bus and he contacted his boss and they said it was fine. We settled for a destination near our hotel, since we already had lost an hour of our time. After he dropped us off at Redhawk we asked him if he would come back to get us and take us back to the hotel and he said he wasn't sure he could do that. We reserve the bus until midnight. He did end up coming back to get us and took us to the paninis where we only stayed for five minutes because they were closing. We then went back to the hotel and ended our night. When my friend who booked the bus called the woman on the phone was very rude to her. her name is Amanda. She said well, we sent you another bus and it took you to Panini's. They only offered $100 off for our time that we sat in a cold bus on a rainy night where we were supposed to be celebrating my bachelorette party. I will never ever ever recommend this limousine company to anyone. We should've had at least half of our bill cut but we didn't. And when she checked her bank account they still charged her $707!!!!!! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. A close friend of ours booked this as a shuttle from his wedding reception. The driver was incredibly crass and rude, wouldn't engage in a normal adult conversation with me, and forced me to go get the groom (in the middle of his own wedding reception) to speak with him. He cursed at me, my husband, and the groom and yet still acted like he was doing us some huge favor. I would literally rather walk 20 miles than have him drive me anywhere. 0 stars ! We took a van home from the airport our driver was completely unprofessional there was McDonald's cups and empty food bags in the van on top of the strong odor of urine. The seats were torn and most of the seat belts didn't work. With all the professional looking drivers at the airport our driver was completely overweight and his personal hygiene was totally unbelievable. We thought he was going too have a heart attack while loading our luggage. I would suggest that anyone looking for transportation from the airport not use Shima. I tried calling Michele Shima the next day and was repeatedly put on hold bye the rude clueless woman that answer the phones. There is a reason why they were so much cheaper than everyone else. read more

SHIMA Limousine was a horrible company to deal with on all levels! DO NOT use them. I first called around to get quotes and was quoted a price, said I would call back. When calling back, they quoted me a different price after not being able to answer my questions regarding the type of vehicle, etc. The staff was extremely rude on the phone. I explained and inquired why the quote was different than the one I originally received and they blamed me for writing down the wrong price. I also wanted to see the EXACT photo of our vehicle we were renting and they pointed me to the 25 person limo bus, although I was renting a 20 person limo bus. The picture was not what was sent to us. Very disappointing on all levels when you have clients you are trying to entertain from out of town. We also requested a TV in the "party bus" as the Cavs playoff game was on and that's the reason we got a luxury vehicle for our guests (otherwise we would have gotten a shuttle bus). Upon arrival, the TV didn't work, nor did the driver know how to fix it. After the driver and myself called the main office, they weren't able to come up with a logical remedy. In every conversation, I inquired about the TV and that it would be in working order. It was NOT working nor was the radio as a back-up. Our guests (in for a business retreat) were trying to fix it and it was extremely disappointing on all accounts. I also don't feel like our driver knew where he was going, nor did he have a lot of experience. Nothing about our experience with Shima was done right. read more

"When only the best will do!" - What a joke!! If I could have given them zero stars I would have, but it won't let me. My parents rented a 28 passenger limo for my sister's wedding on July 1, 2017. It was a hot day, but in the low 80's. The driver was awesome, first-class guy. The limo was garbage. The air conditioner wasn't working, one of the lights was ripped off the ceiling and some kind of liquid was dripping out of it onto my sister's wedding dress, and two shades were ripped off the windows, while another window was held in place with duct tape. I called my parents to complain, and when they called Shima, the customer service rep told them the air was working that morning, and it was a hot day so no wonder we are hot. She told us to "pull the shades down". Well that is impossible when 2 shades weren't there! Also, when we got out to take pictures, it was at least 15 degrees cooler outside than in the limo. Not to mention we had three very pregnant women with us in the limo who were sweating their brains out. When my father called today to talk to the manager, she was extremely rude and basically said that all of us on the bus were lying. NEVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! read more

Unfortunately Shima failed to be there for me on my wedding day. Not only did I have to call the company to notify them that there driver was 15 minutes late, they didnt even know the driver never showed for work. The new Driver did not show until our wedding ceremony. I had to scramble to find 11 bridesmaids a ride to the church as well as myself. As a result of the no show to my house for pick up, I did not get to take any before photos for my wedding. I have zero professional photos with my mother, 3 brothers or my uncle who was walking me down the aisle. Then to make matters worse, I never received a call back from the manager in regards to my complaint. An employee apologized to my mother when she called but not once to me. AND they refunded me $150 when that only covered the hour without the limo service. they said they would send $250 ck ($350 is what should have been refunded because I paid a photographer $200 and didnt even get to use her because I was stranded!) We had a HUGE wedding party in that sold out an entire hotel. The bride and groom had set up transportation to the reception (the venue is five minuets from the hotel) and alerted us that the shuttle would make it's last pick up at 5:30, which we made sure to tell the guests. Unfortunately the driver left earlier than 5:30 and then didn't come back. We called the company to ask them to come back as there were still members of the wedding party who had been here waiting at 5:30. The customer service agent was incredibly rude and said "we have this problem ALL the time" and they would not be sending the shuttle back.(The bride and groom would have to approve it because they would charge them an additional fee--we could not authorize that on their behalf, and unfortunately they were enjoying their wedding reception) The grandmother of the bride was one of those people. The hotel owner was on property and offered to drive the remaining guests himself. I would NEVER recommend this company, as it appears they lack in, not only, honoring their commitments, but also any reasonable means of hospitality or manners. I will most certainly make sure to tell anyone who asks about car services to avoid this company at all costs, as not even the people that answer the phone are worth the aggravation that comes with the snide tone of people who only want your money and could care less about the reason you are utilizing their services in the first place! This company is beyond one of the WORST limousine company's in northeast Ohio. If your looking for loyal, look otherwise. I booked a reservation for my wedding 6 months in advance, and the day of the wedding they call my newly husband 15 minutes before our scheduled pick up time. The bus that was suppose to be ours, got in an accident, totaled. I am more than understanding that accidents happen, however the women on the phone was the least helpful. You require a deposit, for what? She had no answers for me, no other vehicles- they we all in use at 2:00pm. I think not. To keep your customer service loyal wouldn't you of thought to call around for us, have any other options. Nothing. I was appalled and to top it off it was pouring down rain. We called around and luckily A1 Mr.Limo was available, they didn't have any drivers available so the owner of the company personally drove us around for the remaining time we had left to go take pictures. Being last minute and coming from 45 minutes. We have Shima to once again thank, for loosing an hour and half of our day. An hour and half of being behind on schedule, hour and half of not taking pictures and a hour and half of stress on our wedding day. Thanks again Shima for making our day memorable. We had a bridal party of 16 and most not married, and live right here in Cleveland. You just lost all of those potential clients. read more

The most unprofessional company I have dealt with! 5 women had a no show at 2:30 am at the airport and they said it was a mistake on their part, offered to pick us up in 30 minutes which was not an option for 5 working women! We hoped in a cab stuffed in like sardines and headed home. The taxi was way less expensive, the driver could not have been more helpful and pleasant! When I called the company to find out what happened to the no show I was told they would look into it and they would call me back. 4 days later I called them back and Justin, a manager, called me a liar when discussing the lack of help his so called "best driver" who didn't help worth a darn with our luggage on the way to the airport! Then his superior Amanda got on the phone to badger me even more about my conversation with Justin! I asked for her supervisor and she told me the only person above her was the owner and they were 90 yrs old and had nothing to do with the company? Wow!
