    Poke bowl !!

Poke ? Check this market. I will come back every time in HI. Local price. Local smile atmosphere. May not for "IG" or " TT" but You can not say NO for many kind poke choices from Seafood market at almost Half price than other restraint or hood stand/truck.

Shima's supermarket is a perfect stop for food/snacks as you head to Waimanalo beach! The service was friendly and it seems to be a local, non-touristy spot. We came here specifically for poke and were impressed with all the options! We got three kinds: limu (seaweed), sesame oil, and spicy! They were all fresh and delicious. We also picked up a bag of tortilla chips since we were craving "poke nachos", beer, and iced coffee. Give it a try if you're in the area and craving poke!

If you know me, you know I don't 5 star unless I mean it. I don't live here, but I travel often & if you're a local that hasn't been here, get with it. Perfect spot to get all you need for the beach, best prices, great selection & the man in the back deli is hella sweet/helpful. This place makes me feel at home.

Cute little supermarket to pick up beach provisions In Waimanalo! No beach trip is complete without a spread of poke! They also have musubi and other hot food items if poke isn't your jam. The seafood section is located in the back left of the store next to the drinks. I love how the selection provides a little bit of everything: spicy tuna, kimchee raw crab, shoyu poke, hawaiian style poke with limu, and even poke with kukui nut! The service is really quick and helpful. You can also sample the flavors if you need help deciding! The prices are cheap and affordable, and for certain poke, you can opt for the fresh version!

Great selection of items in waimanalo and reasonably priced for the location. They didn't have parsnips which was the only item I was looking for. But they had a great selection of fresh produce.

I come to Bellows beach often when I come to Hawaii, it's my favorite on the island. A friend of mine recommended this place to grab poke before going to the beach. On the outside it looks like an unassuming market, but there's a hidden gem in the back. There's a huge poke selection, possibly the biggest I've ever seen. They're super nice and will let you try them before you buy! I never thought I could have such good poke with the selections here. I ate over half a pound of poke in one sitting, never thought I could. I'm coming here each time I come to bellows now!

Very nice local market place. Clean and organized. People and staff were very kind and welcoming. We went here to get some poke. They were delicious! The lady behind the counter were nice enough to allow us to try each poke from their selection. We narrowed down to two (picture). They were fresh and delicious! Oh and we ate it at Waimanalo Beach just fyi! Lol!

    So many poke choices

Despite the fact that it's a considerably trek for city-dwellers, factoring either traffic or bus schedules into the equation, or both if you're particularly unlucky, it's a journey always worth taking. Hit Hanauma Bay along the way and make it a day trip; the only way to top those dazzling sights is to follow them with a stellar meal. Boasting a menu composed of locally-sourced produce and entirely vegan options, you'll want to take a number of friends for the best experience. Heck, get out there and make some new friends! Join one of the long communal picnic tables out back and introduce yourself; there are no friendlier folks on earth than those living in paradise, as far as I've seen. That said, if there was only one dish to order, it would have to be the Oh WOW Laulau. Wow, indeed! No where else on earth have I found vegan laulau, let alone such a stellar rendition. Traditionally consisting of fatty pork and/or fish steamed in taro leaves, this version eschews the meat in favor of hearty root vegetables, adding creamy coconut into the mix for richness. Not to be overlooked is the Tofu Poke provided on the side, claiming to be spicy but really bearing just enough warmth to taste perfectly balanced. This was easily my personal favorite from the small sampling of dishes provided, but it's a close call when all the options are so good. Another front runner is the BBQ Portobello Sandwich. Mushrooms marinated in a bright, smoky barbecue sauce practically sing between two whole wheat buns. Coconut slaw tops off the assemblage with just the right amount of subtle sweetness to contrast the deeply savory flavors within. Simpler but no less spectacular dishes include the Roasted Veg Platter and Roasted Veg Avocado Sandwich. The way that the vegetables are treated with respect, from the moment they're harvested from nearby farms to the care taken when they reach the kitchen is evident with every bite. Cooked with care and proffered generously with each serving, even the basics make the trek out here worthwhile. I'm still trying to recreate that impossibly umami gravy offered on the side. It's one of those things that are so astoundingly, inconceivably delicious, it's impossible to deconstruct. Each entree promises an ideal amount of food; satisfying diners without over-stuffing them. That said, you'll still want to make room for dessert, especially when you see the towering bowls full of Outta This Swirled Soft Serve. Cool, naturally sweet spirals of banana-based soft serve are dressed to the nines with cacao sauce that hardens much like magic shell, granola and coconut flakes tumbling down the mountainous terrain, and fresh fruits that vary based on local availability- Expect papaya always to be in ample supply, based on the thriving papaya trees on premise. Each order is abundant enough to be a considered a full meal in and of itself.

This poke was SO FRESH, I could taste the knife, the boat, the water, the morning sun... all in good ways. It was divine. The catch? Maybe their DRY RUB... I have spicy habits, and tend to get poke lathered in spicy sauce. This poke had no sauce, just a dry salt / pepper rub - and the dryness of the fish, helped me TRULY taste the TEXTURE, freshness, and the QUALITY of the fish. Blown away. The owner (or manager) came out to check on us, and thank us for coming out. Told us the fish had been REALLY good lately, out there on the water. We could taste it. Love the tempura flakes they add on top. Can't wait to go back!

They have fresh ahi and tako poke which you can get by the pound or as bowls. The regular is $16 and the large is $18 and you can have a choice of two kinds of poke. I got the Hawaiian style tako poke with limu and chili pepper and it's yum! Might say tho, it's a little heavy on the Hawaiian salt. It also has a bit of a kick from the chili pepper. It's served plain but you can add on things like furikake, ginger for 75 cents or avocado slices for $1.50. Also you can get it with white or brown rice. The poke wasn't cut consistently, had some stringy pieces, and wasn't cold enough either. It seemed like it had been saturated for a while, too slimy.
