I was able to find someone who could come to my home sooner but they offered to send someone out the following day so I kept my booking with Sunny Home Cleaners. My first booking was for a deep clean. That did not happen but when I expressed my concerns they sent the same person back the following day. They apologized and it was communicated when the cleaners came out there were just some misunderstandings as to what needed to be done. The cleaners were respectful of my home and did a great job. I was pleased and happy to keep working with the same cleaners. I like consistency and shared this when booking my cleanings and shared I am autistic so this is very important to me. The same cleaners came out two weeks later and did a great job. I got a call after stating I can no longer have the same cleaner anymore and they were going to send someone else. I refused and reminded them I like consistency. I was then told the person they sent out was an independent contractor that does not work for the company and they are not able to send her to my home anymore. I expressed that was not okay and was told I would get a call back within 24-48 hours. I had to call back 4-5 days later because I noticed the person I turned down was set to come to my home after I said no. I was advised there is nothing to be done so I cancelled all of my appointments. So my main problem is when I initially set up my appointment I was told they do background checks on all of their people but all of the sudden they aren't sure about who the initially sent to my home. I also was never told the cleaner did not work for their company. So when they canceled my appointments they charged me a cancellation fee and when I complained I was told they didn't know what I was talking about and will fix it right away. I didn't hear back so I called 1 hour later and no one answered my call. It should not be difficult to refund a charge. All in all this company is not honest and when they could not maintain their assurances they charged me for not being okay with it. I do not recommend this company. Edit: After leaving the review I got a call, I was asked to send proof of the cancellation fee, and I sent them a screenshot of the email receipt. I was then issued a refund within 5 minutes with a text confirmation. I was asked to remove the review but I decided to just provide an update. My experience was still my experience. They offered discounts along the way but all in all they just aren't a good fit for me. Things don't always work out. Give them a try, your experience might be better than mine.

A mother and daughter team showed up, on time, armed to the teeth with cleaning supplies. They went over what we wanted done with my wife, and immediately got to work. They were here for about 5 hours and did a job so good we couldn't have expected more. They went so far above and beyond; we have nothing but superlatives for them. They were more than the value for the money, and we will use them again. I am hoping many others will also. Evelyn and her daughter went through 5 rooms in our home, and it is so clean. She wanted to stay longer and do more, but we felt she had done enough for the day and wages. Very professional about her work and they two were a pleasure to have here. We cannot say enough about them, except, get them. Thanky ou two so very deeply for showing up and helping us with chores we have become too aged to perform. Lifesavers.

She took the entire two hours just to clean my bathroom, which was not even that dirty to begin with. I normally do my own cleaning about twice a month, so it was not even that dirty at all. I have lived here for 8 years and recently moved out, so understandable that there might be some tough stains. Before I hired her, I asked for a 2 hour job to clean the room and the living room. She readily accepted the job was nice enough to give me an additional 30 mins for a total of $90. She even told me that she would do "deep" carpet cleaning. So today, when she was two hours into the work. She was just about done with the bathroom only! Her excuse was because she was very detailed. When I walked through the bathroom, there was an obvious stain left in one of the drawers and my shower head and handle still had tons of water stains and she didn't even bother to clean the gutter of the window nor the wall moulding/baseboard in the bathroom!! And this is how she called a "detailed cleaning." When it came to the carpet cleaning, she just vacuumed! But she called it a "deep cleaning!" And of course when she left, she didn't even have time to clean the living room, as we originally discussed. At the end of the day, she told me she just started the job in April. Since she was nice and this is her new career, I was willing to give her a second chance and I asked if she would come back next time and be a little more efficient and pay more attention to details. I communicated that I wanted a deep clean to start & would then decide whether I wanted to continue with services. I left my home in a relatively tidy condition so the cleaners could focus their time on actually deep cleaning. I did mention to them that the bathroom was the dirtiest room in the house. Unfortunately, it felt as though they looked at my home & decided it was "good enough" rather than putting in the effort & attention expected of a professional deep clean. The bathroom was NOT cleaned at all. The shower walls & floors were still dirty, soap scum on the glass doors & water stains on shower trim, dirty around the toilet bowl, toiletries that had not been wiped down or cleaned, dirty sink, hair on the walls & floor, dust underneath the sink cabinet, floors & baseboards that had not been wiped down. See pics for reference, I had close to 50 pics of all areas left uncleaned but could only upload 20. Unfortunately, entire areas throughout my home were also left untouched, including the baseboards, fans, bookshelves, back of lamps, underneath the bed & the kitchen, dining room & living room floors not mopped. The entire house was left feeling almost exactly as I had left it, tidy, NOT deep cleaned. When I expressed my disappointment, Amy's initial response was "Really?" The following day, the focus shifted to the fact that 3 cleaners had supposedly worked "hard" for 3.5 hours, when they had actually had been there for only 3 hours. I understand they spent several hours in my home, but time spent does not equal quality of work. I thought I was going to pay for a thorough, professional deep clean & expected the level of quality that comes with that service. Unfortunately, I received neither the quality nor the results. Amy offered to resolve the situation by asking whether I was looking for a "discount." To be clear, I was not asking for any "discount" at all & to think that I wanted to "pay less" for half butt work. Given the condition my home was left in & the quality of the work performed by the general manager, Kerstyn & the two other cleaners, I believe this cleaning should have been offered completely FREE. Instead, Amy stood by her negligent cleaning crew & "apologized that they didn't meet my standards." Wow. Despite this, I voluntarily agreed to pay $175, the amount originally quoted for a basic cleaning, even though the service provided was far from what I would consider a basic cleaning. I did this in good faith rather than refusing payment altogether. Unfortunately, once Amy received payment, she ended communication. There was no meaningful follow up, accountability or genuine effort to address my concerns, even after texting her 2 days after everything saying "Hey Amy, please give me a call. I was actually expecting a call from you yesterday so we could talk. I've come across so much more uncleaned areas in my home that you need to be aware of. Please do the right thing & call me back." After being quoted $400 for a deep clean & having what felt like the bare minimum actually done, how could I not feel taken advantage of? I thought I was going to pay for a professional deep cleaning, yet significant areas of my home were left untouched. Whether intentional or not, the experience left me feeling like I had paid for a service I simply did not receive... & ultimately, I feel scammed. DO BETTER AMY!!
