This was the best Shipleys up until they reopened in April 2025. You can tell they are cutting costs and have changed the recipe that they had for many years that had costumers coming back. Seen they got new management and it seems new management has drove this place to the ground. New ownership has gotten rid of the bread for their kolaches and reverted to the same as all other shipleys locations. Very disappointed. Shipley's Do-Nuts have many, many locations however, they don't have locations like N. Main does! This staple of the community has been here since as long as I can remember. The Kolache's here are extremely unique from the other chains of locations. They are almost like eating a warm fresh bread roll with whatever your choice of filling on the inside. I typically get the sausage & cheese. Super hot melty cheese when you bite into them and since they're small I usually order 2-3. The donut holes here are HUMUNGOUS! Super huge and fulfilling. The best donut on the menu is the classic glaze because they serve them hot & fresh they literally melt in your mouth. You can even watch them make the food in front of you. I enjoy the staff it's always the same people when I go, they've just recently added a new drive thru menu on the outside. Try this location in particular you will not regret it! The boudin could also be a bit spicer, which would be better to my tastes. However, a rich, delicious flavour and intensity that one does not usually associate with a donut shop.
