I plan to take the loss and do my oil changes somewhere else. I always believed that customer service is and should be the most important trait for any business however this is not the case at this dealership A simple acknowledgment would have been enough for me to feel like my business mattered but to simply blow me off was utterly disrespectful I hope this issue could be resolved because customer service is a lost trait for your dealership

Brought them in today for their first service and low and behold see that they now charge a 3.5% charge for using credit cards to pay for your services. So you drop close to $90k on cars to get tagged with extra charges for service. Of course they give a cash discount but again a business of this magnitude in size charging its customers who try to stay loyal (4 total bought here) to them a 3.5% additional charge for using plastic. The greed of America always comes through!

We went to the dealership with the intent to purchase a new vehicle or certified pre-owned Mazda cx-50. The sale rep was good, no issues with a man doing his job. When it came to start talking process of the vehicle, they came with a paper saying mandatory protection package ($2,999.00), low jack ($999.00) , and tint warranty ($499.00). I told them I was not interested in those packages. They said this was non-negotiable and would be mandatory. They could look into discounting the packages, but they were mandatory to remain. When I spoke out about the packages should be optional, the floor manager came out and told me that those were mandatory packages that could not be removed. That final discussion with the floor manager was incredibly off putting, and made us feel as if we were being reprimanded for even requesting the packages be removed. I was told "we are a for profit company, and ever since Covid, things are different now". We hadn't even discussed negotiating the price of the vehicle. They also came in higher than the online price of the vehicle on their initial discussion, which was off putting in of itself! I understand a company being for profit. They need to make money, I get it. But this is robbery of customers at their own expense. I don't know if this is a ploy to try and inflate their bottom line of senior leaders, or if this is just an attempt to having bragging rights, but it drew us away from this dealership that used to be pleasant in prior years. I'll never go back to that dealership. Stay away!

We received a promotional mailer stating that we had won a $2,500 Instant Cash prize. Before making…read morethe trip to Benson's Pre-Owned Outlet, we wanted to make sure the promotion was legitimate, so we called the dealership. During that phone call, we specifically asked if we had to purchase a vehicle to claim the prize. We made it very clear that we were not in the market for a new vehicle and only wanted to come in if we could claim the advertised prize. The employee told us that we did not have to buy a car and that we could simply come in to collect the prize. She even told us that the owner had already set aside money for the prizes, including the cash prizes, which reassured us that the promotion was legitimate. Based on what we were told, my husband took time away from work during his lunch break to drive to the dealership. Unfortunately, once he arrived, everything changed. Instead of honoring what we had been told over the phone, they began trying to sell him a vehicle. Even though he repeatedly explained that he was not there to buy a car and was only there because we had been told he could claim the prize, they continued with the sales process. Another issue was what happened next. The mailer advertises "Your Job Is Your Credit" and a "100% Approval Rate." Despite us making it clear that we weren't there to purchase a vehicle, my husband was asked for his Social Security number. He was never told that his credit would be run. The salesperson took his information, walked away, and when he came back, that's when my husband found out his credit had already been pulled. At no point was he told beforehand that providing his Social Security number would result in a credit inquiry. After all of that, instead of receiving what we had been led to expect based on the phone conversation, he was handed a $1 scratch-off ticket and told that's how the promotion worked. To be clear, this review is not about whether we won $2,500. We understand promotions have rules and conditions. Our issue is that we did everything we could to avoid wasting our time. We called ahead, asked direct questions, explained that we were not interested in purchasing a vehicle, and relied on the information given to us by a dealership employee. Had we been told the truth from the beginning--that we couldn't simply come in and claim the prize--we never would have made the trip. We have the dates and times of the phone calls we made before visiting the dealership. We relied on the information provided by the dealership's own employee, only to be told something completely different once my husband arrived. Between the misleading phone conversation, the pressure to discuss buying a vehicle after we had clearly said we weren't interested, and my husband's credit being pulled without being told that was going to happen, this entire experience was extremely disappointing. I hope Benson's Pre-Owned Outlet becomes more transparent about its promotions and trains its staff to give accurate information so other customers don't have to go through the same experience.

The body was in excellent condition in spite of its 18 year age. Even the Michelin tires 225 ZR-17 were either new or almost new with low miles on them. They were in excellent condition and with the highest speed rating available. This is a huge selling point for me. Go price these tires today and you will see they are very expensive and of great quality and safety. The leather interior was in exceptional condition as well. The engine had good power and the automatic transmission shifted smoothly as well. The automatic power top was not working at the time and this was not a critical item for me. I will fix it in due time. The ride was not as smooth as it could be and so I will replace the shocks and/or struts when time and money permits. This is my 3 used car purchase from Hani in over 20 years. He is an avid car enthusiast as I am. He always buys special and or unique cars e.g. some with immaculate leather interiors, all the repairs records and/or with OEM books, new or almost new matching tires, very fast cars with Turbos or superchargers, sporty, luxury, or both. Any used car we buy will always need additional work, maintenance, parts, etc. But, in my experience with Hani's cars, he has been very successful in acquiring cars with a lot of potential. And, his prices have always been extremely competitive and more than fair and reasonable. When buying used cars, it is always "caveat emptor" (Let the Buyer beware). That is Latin and legal terminology used when purchasing used homes and/or cars, etc. It is our job as Buyers to examine the products and to decide whether or not we are willing to accept the flaws and or issues along with its great selling points as well of any used property we purchase without any warranties whatsoever.
