ShoCase Auto This is detailed enough to give justice to all involved. Last June I purchased a vehicle from them. Initial contact was through there office staff Taylor Bottomly (BDC manager) who scheduled for an appointment to the dealership. I am from NY and made sure that the vehicle was there for the test drive. The vehicle was dirty and needed a true deep cleaning because all kinds of dirt were there on the floors and seats. I made a remark that this may be a construction vehicle, but the salesman who was assigned to us said that it wasn't pointing to a sticky in the rear that says "baby on board" My wife and I made the usual walk through around, and pointed out to the salesman that there are items needed taking care of. Then we test drove it . Mechanically, it passed to our standard. Negotiated and tried to close the purchase. Asked for a price off citing, the tires need replacing and right sideview mirror cracked, and some minor scratches. Definitely it is a vehicle that won't likely pass NYC inspection Salesman said it's gonna be buffed and cleaned anyway. Fine, it's a used car anyway. I stressed to the salesman, I can't pass inspection with the cracked side mirror and the tires too. In short, price reduced for the value of the tires, and the salesman said he will order the cracked rt side mirror and be ready following week. This was a Friday and stated I intend to pay in cash, and will pick up the car the following day, Saturday. Fast forward to the present, 45 days after, I never got the cracked side mirror. It was an easy part to get, and if intent to deliver the promise was kept, in a week I should really have gotten the part. Amazon, eBay, Toyota parts online, are all sources of parts. A week after the sale, I called salesman and said he will check and take care of it. Note he promised it will be mailed to me the Wednesday of the following week, and he is fully aware I can't pass NYC inspection. He even said, that I don't have the NY plates yet anyway. In my mind, why would the rt side mirror being ordered be contingent on the plates? Ahhh, an alibi maybe? I provided the dealership as they requested a picture of the damaged right side mirror. Two weeks after I called the dealership, and made record of that by emailing them, to which Taylor said it was forwarded to the Salesman. She even said best to talk to the Salesman. I did, but I was told he was busy with a customer and he will call back. Third week after, a Saturday, called dealership, Owner picked up introduced himself, and said Salesman was busy and will take care that Monday following. He said to send him a text of what I needed exactly, and relayed the same message to Taylor. Fourth week, I called, by then Taylor picked up and followed up my plates since it hasn't arrived, and I asked to talk to the Salesman , but as usual was busy with a customer. I was told he will call me back. But, the obvious happened again- no call back To this present time no call back. he reneged on the promise, which is not even $100, for the glass mirror with backing. I know the part number and I know how soon it can get to me if I ordered myself. I had no bad feelings for Taylor, who liaison for my needs and I fully understand she can only do so much and she never promised me that broken part. Now I wonder how someone can tarnish a business he represents, and damage his own reputation and integrity for a super cheap amount. In short, after 3 or 4 attempts to get in touch with him who never called back, I decided that there is no way I will get that promise from the salesman, Danny This is not review of the dealership, nor a review of Taylor, or the owner, but an honest account of a customer who was on time with appointments, who satisfied their request for a Zelle as a deposit on the day I came and a bank check in full payment the next morning as I promised. Personally, I will not make a promise I cannot keep. So, I moved on and let the wheels turn. read more

Update: the business is now closed, apparently their dealer license has been revoked. I have added pictures of the information you may need when filing a complaint. Anyone who has dealt with this dealer I encourage you to check out the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs and file a complaint. Read about Lemon law for those with defective vehicles. I personally had to file a police report, filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau as well Consumer Affairs Division for my issue with them. I still cant say much because I had to take them to court. They never conducted their business honorably and never cared about the customers. read more

Do not buy from this dealership. I traded in a vechicle and they never paid off my trade in. i am now stuck paying two payments on a vechicle i dont own. Owner artur will not return phone calls or handle the situation. I was surprised as most used car dealers are not so efficient. I was greated by Oleg, nice guy, friendly and to the point, which I appreciate. Understanding that these times are causing prices to go up. But this place tries to rip you off. The truck we wanted was already a bit overpriced with 140k miles on it. But they low ball my trade in by $2000 as well saying it's not worth it. All values are higher including what trade ins are. Then they also hid this $1500 dealer fee and a $600 doc fee. All these Jew things now even though you're trying to say your car is $2k under market value. That's the market price eighth there. Very Shady. Purchased a SUV last year and almost two weeks later got called back to do some paperwork. When I got there they told me that they had another vehicle in stock for me which was a year newer but also raised the monthly payment in which I wasn't informed. Supposedly they weren't "supposed" to sell the first car I had. Was then sent to another Car shop to finish the paperwork then wasn't offered a warranty. BUYER BEWARE! I'd prefer to give no stars. Had a problem with the catalytic converter for over 3 months that I had to keep coming back to get fixed, 6 times. After the 3rd, I asked for my money back and they refused. After the 5th trip, I took the car to a Chevrolet service mechanic to diagnose the issue and it ended up being an engine issue with a broken head gasket (a $2k repair). When I brought it back to SHO Case's mechanic, he told me there was no issue with the head gasket and that the Chevrolet mechanic was wrong. Since this whole ordeal took 3 months, I got screwed out of my warranty period. Terrible customer service, they rarely took initiative to call. I had to call back multiple times to finally talk to someone. They would never take responsibility for selling me a broken car,. because "We don't make the cars we just sell them. I can't predict the future." Lastly, during a global pandemic, the owner sat across from me without a mask on and yelled in my face because I was unhappy with their service. STAY AWAY! This place is a complete fraud , they will take advantage of you whenever they see a chance. They will give you a price for a car then change it if you don't pay close attention. The car I had bought seemed fairly decent but test driving it I saw a couple problems. I had pointed it out and they said they would repair it for me. They took 2-3 months with a lot of back and forth trips to get MOST things fixed. They were really unreliable with any questions I asked . If I could give it no ratings I would. Complete scammers. Stay clear of this place. The small lot is overcrowded with cars making it difficult and time consuming if you want to test drive a car that is not on the outside of the lot. There is no parking available so you have to park on the shoulder of a very busy highway. The 2 salesmen who tried helping me were unprofessional, confused, and distracted. This Dealership is terrible and the ones running it are frauds.. They sold me a 2012 Honda Accord in October 2019 with a fair transmission and said the car had a minor accident, upon further investigation I found out the car had a very major accident and the transmission started failing. They told me I need to change the transmission fluid when in fact it was a 1500 bucks repair work. They also deactivated the car's airbag and check engine light sensor so that even the mechanics cannot find out if there is a problem when in fact the driving wheel airbag was partially deployed. Also, they didn't fix the front bumper properly and because of that Is started coming out a week after I purchased. I have had multiple problems with them but they just fixed the minor ones and covered up the major issues. I would strongly recommend not to go to this dealership especially if you are planning to buy your first car. The 1 start is only for the customer service but the cars they have are complete crap. read more
