I've been calling several stores to find an item and from the 4 stores I called this the only one that answer me and provided great customer services over the phone. I showed up the next day and the customer services was amazing the two young girls where very helpful. I also went back today and again they went above and beyond for me help me called another store to find the item I was looking for & I came to pick it up & I'm amazed I was able to get it. Amazing customer service from this employee didn't get her name but I was there today 2/23/25 around 5pm. I'm a very happy customer with my item thanks to this employee!!! read more

Alright, it usually takes a lot (now) for me to write a negative review but I feel like this place definitely screamed for it. So I walk in, and there's 2 young ladies in the front register. I'm like ok cool, maybe they'll come and ask me for assistance later on. Boyyyyy was I wrong, I was in there walking around for a cool 15-25 mins with not one team member asking me if I had any questions or was doing alright (keep in mind there was not one customer on the sales floor other than me). I did notice that they asked the couple that had just walked in if they were doing alright! I ended up picking out a shoe and took it all the way to them in the front and kindly asked if they had it in a particular size. They brought my size out, I purchased it and left. I work in sales, so I know the importance in greeting guests and providing exceptional guest service overall but man this place did not have that at all. Sad to see the old employees aren't at this location anymore. Seen Erin and Izzy at Del Amo Mall as I was shopping . Please bring them back. I'm down the street from this store and the employees was a reason why I would always come back to shop. Always had good feedback / helpful and patient. I would give it a no star but it don't have the option. I went in here to buy a birthday outfit this week and I have to say it was by far the worst experience I've ever had. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left. No one greeted me and only asked if I needed help once! Meanwhile the whole time the group of girls working were on their phones texting instead. I don't know about yall but I like to spend my hard working money where I'm taking care of as a customer. I've been here plenty times before and I have never experienced it this bad. The schedule say they are open till 7pm. Its 6:21pm and the employees are standing around laughing and they have the gate half close and the doors locked. I knocked and gestured questioning if they are open they made the cut throat gesture back indicating that they are close. Came here the other day to buy some shoes and the girls tryng selling me some dirty air maxes. I dont understand if they are new why they dirty they keep this up this location will not last. Each time I visit this Shoe Palace (And I visit OFTEN) I am always treated with great customer service. Not just me, either. My wife, two daughters, and son are all treated the exact same way. Anthony, the manager, is extremely helpful and fair to us all. He always knows what shoes are coming in and when they are coming. Other places that I visit are not the same. Many times the manager doesn't know anything about anything. Also, here, it's not just the managers. The employees, Johanna and Jalen, to name a few, are very knowledgeable as well. Whatever they are doing there to make sure everyone stays on task is working perfectly and I'd recommend this store to anyone. read more

Always receive a pleasant welcome when I come into this Shoe Palace and all the staff members have been friendly and helpful. The store is clean and well organized even for sale/clearance table items. The location is right next to a Food for Less Market which can be ghetto at times but Shoe Palace Harbor Gateway manages to keep it classy. read more

Went in today and grabbed a pair of Pumas that were on the Sale Table for under $50. Box had a white sticker for $39.99 went i went to the register . Guy try to tell me that they were not on Sale that shoe had just came out and the price was $54.99. It was the last pair in the store. I told him he should give me the price. He refused. As a Retail Manager Myself anytime a Customer sees a price we automatically give what a Customer wants .. its a shame these employees are not trained properly when these types of scenario happens .. my bf and i were planning to go back in a couple of weeks to get some shoes we like that were $150 guess i will be taking my money somewhere else read more

First time I visited this Shoe Palace, store is clean and organized. They had a good selection of shoes. Staff was following the mask protocols which is important these days. Antonio the manager was really cool making sure they double checked the back storage when at first my size wasn't visible. Got my size and I was in and out of the store fairly quick. Witnessed something that we aren't suppose to see. Employees in their uniform selling each other the limited shoes that was release not too long ago, they were in their uniform and inside the store. There's 3 of them, including the manager on floor during that time. They noticed that we noticed, so they were acting up so rude and manner-less with us. Almost got into a fight. This is the most shady place in Cali that we have visited. We'll never come back again. read more
