The extra wide shoes have absolutely ruined my feet/ankles. Yesterday, I purchased a pair of my regular 2E width, elsewhere, and my feet feel better, even after a day.

Every other store in the mall puts the refund on my credit card but that is not Walking Company's policy when one pays with Pay Pal. I found that annoying at the time, but soon after the check for the refund came in the mail. Their inventory is not terribly big, but I have had success finding shoes and boots there. It is worth you time to check it out on line or in the store.

Extra points to the store because they had the same model of shoe that I had been using for my running activities. Also, she was quite patient because I know that I can be a bit indecisive when it comes to making a final decision. ;) Compared to other stores that specializes in running shoes, I thought the prices were pretty standard (about $130+ for newer model of shoes). One recommendation for improvement that would help people who are buying running shoes. Perhaps, the store could purchase one or two treadmills so folks can give potential shoes a test run before purchasing. The brand my husband was looking at had nothing on display and he put the box back exactly where he found out. We were disgusted by how we were treated and will never be returning. I visited the store with intention to get help finding a suitable work shoes for my problem (flat foot, planter fasciitis, and small bunions) feet. Grayling warmly greeted me immediately as I entered. I informed him the purpose of my visit. First he measured my foot on a speciality digital foot machine. Then helped with picking out several pairs of shoes to try on. My options are limited due to restrictions we are allowed to wear with our company uniform. The ones he selected was perfect for comfort and meets company standards; however we both agreed they were basic but not stylish. Grayling was so patient and helpful during the lengthy time I was there trying to find something. He's super knowledgeable about feet and gave me a few helpful pointers to get the maximum comfort from my shoes. Wonderful first time experience and won't be the last. I was disappointed that I just didn't find anything that day cause I really wanted to purchase something from him. Highly recommend this location! Note - Grayling suggested checking out the Rockville location as they have more selections and stylish options due to the location. It was a totally opposite customer service experience. Didn't get her name but I believe she maybe the owner. Tall brown skin full figure mature women that was so RUDE. She refused to help me in selecting shoes or trying anything on. Only told me (in the most rude manner) " I can come back in two days cause they just got shipment but she's not putting it out, her husband will do it". this is a nice running store in the kentlands market square in gaithersburg. i admit it was a…read morelittle hard to find, esp following my gps, but i eventually found it on the southeast part of the shopping complex. there's some parking immediately outside the store, more parkiing in front of whole foods. the store has a nice clean layout, nutrition & accessories in the middle/front and clothing to either side of the store, shoes in the rear. there's a unisex bathroom in the very back, well-appointed and very clean. they have a weekly, community fun run 5k every monday @ 1830, the dog haus run club. it's free and open to all levels. the runners there are very friendly.
