My favorite fast food place…read more We were looking for a quick lunch on our way to Safari West, I'm so glad we stopped here because the food is delicious, quick, and my kids will eat it. For future Christina one son ended up eating a side of fries, the other son just wanted the hamburger buns and fries, I ended up eating his hamburger patty, but I also got a double cheeseburger protein style. I used to get animal style fries, but I love the plain fries too, and this gives me the ability to share with the kids. The food comes out quickly and taste super fresh. There's lots of seating inside and outside, although we came during an off time at about 2 PM so I don't know how busy this place gets during or standard eating times. It was still pretty packed at 2 PM. The place was clean and the employees friendly, I will always choose in and out over any other fast food.

Luckily the parking lot wasn't completely full and we were able to dine-in. I got my usual order, a double double animal style, protein style (in a lettuce wrap). Ordering was easy and we got our food pretty quickly. The staff is usually friendly and we were happy to be in and out within 30 minutes. We saw that they give kids complimentary hot chocolate on rainy days which is a nice touch and there were definitely plenty of families with kids when we visited.

Really like the chicken at this place. The seasoning and the crispy-ness is just right. I've been…read morethere many times and I do have a couple issues. First, the inconsistent size of the chicken pieces. Every so often, I'll get a piece of chicken that is like 2-3 ounces, or about 1/2 the size of a normal piece. It's happened to me so many times that now I just go back to the counter and show them the tiny piece of chicken. They're usually pretty nice about it and will just give me another small piece to make it like a normal portion. Second, the weird pricing is a bit unfair. The single slider used to be $6. Over time it has gone up to $9, so basically $10 with tax. Fries are like $4.50 a la carte. So if you ordered 2 sliders and a fries a la carte it would be $22.50. But the meal with two sliders and fries, I believe it's $15. That's a nice discount for bundling the items, but sometimes I only want a slider. Slider alone should be like $7, not $9.

I've ordered Dave's Hot Chicken quite a few times, regretting it, and always wanting to go back…read more The spice burns, the chicken is juicy , and a good crunch on the outside. It's like a good ol' toxic relationship when you get it hot and even hotter- makes one regret and want it even more. Hot and juicy . And I love their Carolina Reaper level (not for the faint of heart, if you're not used to that heat tolerance ) . Makes ya burn. The juicy chicken and deep fried batter is amazing . They got a good recipe going, and a hot spice level. I always wonder about their buns, wanting it to be ciabatta with the sliders, but hamburger buns are ok. Not my favorite choice. I like the old school white bread they use that's keeping it traditional- you gotta use it to soak the extra seasoning with the sweetness. It's sometimes rare you'd find actual HOT food around here. Fog Belt's Brewery Carolina Reaper sauce does me another justice on the heat world. This place the 2'nd in the ring . The level they put at their max is the real deal . Juicy and HOT chicken . Take it from a Dave who likes spicy food like myself

The Atmosphere Finding a seat at Montgomery Village is…read moreusually a tactical maneuver, but tonight the place was virtually empty and--more importantly--actually clean. It provided a rare, sterile calm that felt almost misplaced for a burger joint, but I'll take "spotless" over "sticky" any day of the week. The Spread The kitchen is still hitting its marks on the essentials. The ShackBurger, bolstered by those salty, crispy onions, remains a masterclass in fast-casual engineering. The fries were hot, crisp, and sufficiently drowned in cheese sauce, exactly as the gods of sodium intended. To wash it down, the red wine in a can was surprisingly decent--not a vintage to write home about, but it certainly beats a soda fountain cup when you're trying to elevate a Tuesday night. The Misses It wasn't a perfect run. The vanilla and chocolate custard was notably off--texture or temp, something just wasn't right, which is a rare fumble for a brand built on "Shakes." The Service The staff were perfectly friendly, though they seemed to be enjoying the empty dining room as much as I was. A bit inattentive, perhaps, but when the burger is that consistent, a little extra time to contemplate the canned wine isn't the end of the world.

In terms of price, yeah you're going to pay a pretty penny for these three items; however, the food is fairly good. My only complaint was the chicken on the ShackBurger was a bit dry, otherwise, great flavor! Would be happy to come back in the near future and try more items on the menu.

In my opinion, it's still pretty good. I like that their sandwiches are small, medium and large so if you get a small, it's like the perfect size if you are someone like me that never finishes fully a sandwich. The fries are pretty alright too. In my opinion I mean they're not out of this world, but they're not bad either. The lemonade I will say is really sweet and a little expensive you pay like almost 5 bucks for a small. Which with the prices of everything nowadays it's not super expensive but meh. Service was relatively fast. I I do like how their sandwich is specifically the veggies always taste fresh. There's some other spots that you can tell the vegetables have been sitting there for a while. There's a lot of seating obviously because it's the mall. If you want somewhere quite just get to go. Charley's currently has a deal where you can get a chicken sandwich and fries for $7.99 which I thought was pretty decent .
