Delicious, colorful, tasty sushi yes I loved the salmon skin roll! I was surprised how cute this spot was set up, it felt authentic. we ordered the perfect amount 4 rolls for 2 of us to share. They have so many rolls to choose from its tempting to order more! They also have amazing looking/ smelling Korean foods...next time I will try some of that. Service was good but they were busy so not as attentive, understandably. I would love to return soon.

Found this place by accident when the kitchen at first restaurant we went to closed at 9pm. Attempted a few other places and finally arrived at the one place that closed at midnight. What a hidden gem. The sushi was so fresh and good. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back.

We ordered the Chirashi, Steak Teriyaki and Agedashi Tofu and all of them were very good. The Chirashi was one of the best I've had. The fish was fresh, the portions were generous, and I really liked that it didn't come with too much rice, which allowed the sashimi to be the star of the dish. The Steak Teriyaki was flavorful and cooked just right. I highly recommend Haku Sushi. I'll definitely be back.

California roll add cucumber. Big in Japan. Spicy tuna roll. Caterpillar add crunch.

So good. I love 20% off take out if you pay cash, 10% dine in. I think $2 to add crunch or cucumber is a bit much but it's okay we come here all the time and really like it. My boyfriend is allergic to shrimp and crab (shellfish) so it's nice that they will accommodate our customizations from time to time. We definitely recommend them as one of our favorite sushi spots in Santa Rosa

Honestly such a hidden gem in Santa Rosa. Haku Sushi and Hanbuk Korea BBQ sharing the same spot so you can literally order sushi and K-food at the same table (lifesaver if you're indecisive like me lol) Our grp of 4 got the medium Family Sashimi Boat from Haku and it was huge. The fish was thickly sliced, super fresh and it came with miso soup, combo tempura, and salmon kama (sooo fatty and good). We also ordered spider rolls (soft shell crab, crab, avo, masago) which had a nice crunch. And if you want something light, definitely get the jedi mind trick (no-rice roll wrapped in cucumber with salmon, tuna, hamachi, crab). Super refreshing and didn't leave me feeling bloated. Then, from Hanbuk restaurant, we got the ohjinguh bokkum (spicy stir fry squid). Should've ordered extra rice because the sauce went so well with rice and was not spicy at all (just mild spicy) Overall, great experience. I would rate Haku Sushi 4.5/5 and Hanbuk 4/5.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Haku Sushi. Food was delicious and service was wonderful. Really cute place with lots of seating. Our favorite roll was the What She's Having!

Late night cravings? Haku Sushi has you covered. I love that I can get either Japanese food or Korean BBQ, Haku is a crowd pleaser option for those who can't really decide what they are craving. The food is flavorful, the staff is friendly and the cozy atmosphere makes it easy to linger. I mostly love that they stay open until midnight! Haku has definitely saved me on those nights when cravings hit or when I planned last minute dinners. Huge selling point is always how late they stay open. Every time I come I have to order the Sex on Fire Roll, it's a must try and compliments any dish. 10/10 love this place.

The roll had a great balance of fresh fish and colorful roe, and the edible flowers were a nice touch. Service was fast and everything was well prepared. I'd definitely come back!

This is a maze of tightly packed tables, in the front, with an area in the back that has a bit more room, though didn't see it used. I was seated immediately, and the waitress took my drink order. You can order either sushi or Koean BBQ, which I found interesting. I chose sushi. I ordered the nine piece sashimi that comes with misa soup and a small salad. Also, the "I'll have what she's having" sushi roll (like a rainbow roll with more fish and tobiko). The fish was very fresh. There is a parking lot right across the street.

This has been our go to sushi spot in Santa Rosa. The first time we came, we ate at the restaurant and very much enjoyed our meal. We have been ordering our food to go. I like their Bento dinner and hubby gets his rolls. The service is always prompt and they also give you a 20% discount if you pay with cash with your to go orders so that's a plus. Love the look of the place also.

Chicken Karaage (4 stars) - strange color but crispy and good.

We had lunch on 4th of July at Haku Sushi before our weekend outing to Bodega Bay. Haku is a unique restaurant that offers classic Japanese cuisine, a full-blown Korean BBQ menu, and some amazing Asian-flavored ice creams and mochi. The food and ambiance are great, though I will ding them for having a bathroom with a malfunctioning flush. We ordered: * Chicken Karaage - Their version of Japanese Fried Chicken had a funky white breading and teriyaki sauce drizzle. Despite the appearance, it was crispy outside and soft inside. Definitely better with the spicy mayo. * Teriyaki Chicken and Salmon Bento was decent, though our 5yo wasn't a huge fan for some reason. * Sushi Combo was decent - I got California Roll and Nigiri. Toppings really fresh though rice needs more seasoning. * Wife got the Korean Tofu Pork Soup. It looked good and I was surprised they gave a while bunch of banchan. Definitely turns soup into a full-blown meal. * Definitely save room for their Black Sesame Ice Cream. Huge scoop with caramel drizzle and frozen raspberries. It's the type of dessert you might expect at a Michelin restaurant. They also offer up other Asian flavors lime Yuzu, Ginger Root, and Thai Iced Tea.

First time dining here, and overall, it was a good experience. The restaurant was pretty quiet for a Monday lunch, so our food came out quickly. I ordered the bento box with salmon teriyaki and mixed tempura--it was tasty, though to be honest, bento boxes tend to taste similar to me at most Japanese restaurants. The miso soup was good, but not the best I've had. My dad ordered sashimi and mentioned it was fresh, which is always a plus. Service was solid--the servers checked in on us regularly and made sure we were taken care of. While the food was enjoyable, this place doesn't stand out as a "must-visit" for Japanese cuisine in my opinion. Still, worth trying if you're nearby and craving something simple and satisfying

Big in Japan and Love Boat roll. Small portion for a lot of money!
    Courtney C.

Extremely overpriced for small portions and subpar fish. When we first entered the restaurant we were greeted by the smell of cigarettes- IN the restaurant. The next red flag was the amount of escolar on the menu, almost all of their special rolls had this fish. Then, all of their rolls were extremely small and did not taste high quality. The nigiri was worse- specifically the uni had a really muted color and had a weird liquid sheer on it, almost like it was sweating? Not only was this slop, but it was for a premium price! The only reason this wasn't one star is because the waitresses were very friendly and attentive.

There was a party of 10 that arrived 15 minutes after we were seated. Their appetizers and sushi arrived immediately, approximately 10 minutes before ours. I was quite baffled... I even made the joke... "Did they go to Japan to make our roll & nigiri?" Overall, I would probably not return. The waiters were nice but the sushi chef's were very slow. Maybe because they weren't Japanese and were baffled by nigiri's? Whatever the reason, nigiri's should not take over 30 minutes to serve, especially when there are only 3 tables. Time is priceless... And when it's spent over 30 minutes waiting for a meal, it's time wasted...

There's a variety of apps but I wasn't too hungry so I ordered mini sesame balls for the table ( 3 for $1!!!) and octopus ball/sesame balls to go. At the end, I also got the homemade sauce just to try bc it was packed in a glass mason jar and relatively affordable. For food, I got tonkotsu ramen and the broth was good. I think it was missing the condiments and some umami flavoring. I'm not sure. It was 3.5 imo. The sesame balls were good and so was the octopus ball. The salmon looked plentiful and came with lots of sides but I'm not sure how it tasted bc I didn't order. All the dishes were cleared out though so I'd say it was a successful lunch trip. They have a long fish display in the front and plenty of seating too! Reminds me to go back to Japan soooon.

The sushi chef, his sous chefs and the staff lead a splendid night. Each step was curated in its own way with descriptions for anything we ate, origins, and the connection with the chef. Things started outside in a waiting area with an introductory drink and appetizer. Once things were ready to go inside, we were ushered in and had name places for each of our seats for the evening. If you needed to use the restroom there isn't one organic to the space and you had to go back into the main hallway. We were given 16 courses of fish listed on small chalkboards along the back wall, and then dessert to follow. Everything tasted delicious. My partner had gotten the sake tasting to go with it which added nicely with the food. My favorites for it were the tuna tail, miso steamed egg, hamachi, the shrimp, and the baby octopus. The tuna tail was such an interesting presentation, and the flavors were simple and clean. The miso steamed egg was just comfort. The hamachi melted with how it was prepped with each bite which was great. The shrimp was really fresh, and easy to bite through. The baby octopus tasted amazing, simply seared and was so easy to eat. A number of ingredients were flown in fresh, or from Japan as they added to the dish. The wasabi was also fresh but locally sourced from the US. It was amazing to hear all of the small details that went into each piece and the inspiration behind the dishes. Certainly, a beautiful experience and some of the best sushi also in the area.
