First time really hanging out in Nashville, TN!! What a great pool spot! 6 clean smooth tables that haven't been used as coasters. Really friendly people, got that southern hospitality, for sure. I ordered a sun cruiser, I felt so bad the sweetest bartender Nikki, was digging down in her ice to find me a cold one. Most bartenders I've come across these days would just plop a warm drink in front of you. She apologized for not any cold ones and offered me a cup of ice, that I happily accepted. They karaoke, DJ's, live bands on the weekend and an Ami jukebox you can control from your phone. Some great bar snacks too!! Live in the neighborhood so I stopped by for a couple beers and some pool. They've got 6 bar tables, take quarters but have a coin machine which is convenient. Beers are well priced, jukebox is always going, got people from 20's and up so it's a nice variety of ages, everyone getting along n having fun. Tables are well maintained which is great. Like others have said, I'm also not a fan of the cigarette smell because even if no one is currently smoking, you're still going to leave smelling like smoke. If it were busy and lots of people were smoking i'd leave, but when it's slower nights I don't care about a little stink and/or a few cigarette or cigar smokers, nothing I haven't been around before lol Well worth the visit if you're nearby and want to throw some darts or shoot some pool. The server we had was pleasant. I didn't care for the place because of the extensive amount of smoking but my friend was ecstatic to find out what's it got to offer. We ordered mozzarella sticks, it was a little wait but that's because it was fresh out of the oven/fryer etc. The ranch and marinara was meh. It looked like it came from jack in the box or something. The alcohol was delicious. I don't drink much, my friend doesn't either. So she got us both some pineapple vodka orange juice. It was tasty but I didn't know how strong it was until I stood up. Huge place with lots of TVs, juke box, pool tables, etc. Friendly bartender that welcomed us on a Saturday out on the motorcycle. We're fans of dive bars/sports bars and this is all of the above. Cheap eats too, which is great. My biggest knock is the smoking as I just don't like it. Great smoke eater over the bar though, so not terrible, but again just don't like smelling smoke. Not in a touristy area at all, in fact its surrounded by more gas stations than anything else. People were friendly enough as we aren't regulars. Learned about and checked this out for a friend's retirement get-together. He wanted Karaoke. This was the one spot the party organizer found, i'm guessing due to location and everyone's availability. The service was great. Friendly bartender and mgmt staff. During the hours we attended, the bartender was doing EVERYTHING including taking orders, serving, and making drinks. Kudos for her time management, remembrance, and organization skills. I dare say, I think she was actually cooking the food as well. smh. I'm guessing my friend didn't check the start time for Karaoke as we were there like 3 hours TOO EARLY. By the time it was getting ready to start, we were exhausted and ready to go. All in all, our first experience was good and the service commendable. read more

Shooters is our go to bar for playing pool, nights and weekends. Always plenty of open tables, and when we get bored, the wife and I will go throw darts for a while. Drinks are always reasonable.(Have yet to leave with a bar tab over $45). Fun crowd, even though we're not from here, they are always friendly. The Barmaids are all sweethearts and very aware of whats going on. I've only seen the owner in a few times to watch the Preds play, but he can be engaging at times, which I've found most bar owners in Nashville are not!! Note; This is not what I would call a dive bar. Definitely a few steps above a dive bar, as I have yet to see a fight, or major argument. Have seen a few happy drunks though!! read more

We were drawn into Shooters after a friend asked if we could bring our BBQ from Papa Turney's into the bar to eat. The bartender, Ashley, was very nice and allowed all of us to come in and eat. We also found out that it was 2 for 1 on just about anything so we stayed for a drink, well make that two! Coming from Phoenix, I was shocked that they still had bars in America that you can smoke in! I guess you still can here in Nashville. I'm not a fan of smoking, but it did add to the dive bar atmosphere. There were also a ton of pool tables and plenty of bar space. We ended up staying for a while on a thursday afternoon here at Shooters. We ended up checking out the other past Yelp reviews and had a good laugh. I'm sure that the bar changes on weekend nights, but for the afternoon crowd it was fine and we had a good time. We especially had fun with the jukebox. Overall you can't beat the drink prices ($5) for doubles. Our bartender was super nice and talkative too. This would make a good neighborhood bar if I lived in the area. read more

I'm not sure how to rate this place. It is what it is. This is a smoky, no frills, dive bar. Actually, I take back the no frills part; they have some nice pool tables, darts, Golden Tee, etc. There's a little more to do here than just drink and obtain STDs. Um, it's an ok dive bar to go get white boy wasted & maybe even do some drunken karaoke but it attracts a trashy crowd IMO. Definitely take a shower after you leave that place. The last time I hung out here was in 2009 and I swear the place looks the exact same now as it did then. I guess there's no need to change whats working for ya. The plus side is that it's less than a 1/8 of a mile from my house, I could crawl home if needed. Anyways, it's a spot you should check out if you haven't been there before but I wouldn't want to be known as a regular. Hell, I wouldn't want to be known as a regular at any bar. Ha! Also, beware that the parking situation there SUCKS if its a weekend or special event. If you get there late you may have to park across the street at the gas station and they will bitch at you if they catch you but I haven't seen anyone towed yet. It had an older, biker crowd of drunks who wouldn't admit to themselves that they aren't in their 20s or possibly have had one too many when I've been. It's pretty trashy. I went when my friend was hosting karaoke and it was kind of a s***show. I probably wouldn't recommend this to someone who was new in town/to the neighborhood. read more

I don't usually do reviews, however I feel this place is getting the negative without enough positive intake.. I was there last night. This bar was quite , when considering the scene. In fact, there was music playing, card games, and pool playing going on; a person can still communicate without yelling. The bar was in full swing, as well. Meanwhile, the prices are more than fare. Moreover, you pay $6.00 and hour to shoot pool at another spot, on Old Hickory, while at Shooters you pay $1.00 a set/game....AND....the mix drink, actually, have liquor in them at Shooters. ..........photos coming soon! read more

Me and my friends went there to play pool our ball stuck, so we called the bartender to help us so she sent someone to help us the guy came and my friends were talking to each other in diffraction language so the guy was super mad and told us we only speak English in this country!
