Every day I get out of bed, correction: I JUMP out of bed, ecstatic and driven to start my day because I know that I can enter the threshold of paws n go. I get there every morning at 7:15am so that I can eagerly await opening. At precisely 7:30am Mary walks up and unlocks the door and immediately I am greeted with a warm hug and a smile. I then attend class and work and head in for an afternoon pick me up, usually a salami, provolone, and cracker snack and a bottle of kombucha. I then go about my daily duties and try to make sure my schedule is clear at 12:40am so that I can step foot in this sanctuary one more time before I rest my head. I spend 20 minutes meditating in there before I go home, go to sleep, and do It all over again. To say I live for paws n go is an understatement. The only complaint I have is regarding the worker Eri. Constantly I feel persecuted by her hateful words, her grimacing expressions, and her offensive music that she insists on blasting throughout the store. I feel belittled, agitated, and all around bullied whenever she is on duty. Please, Mary, I'm begging you. If you want paws n go to be a refuge for the weary and a home for the weak like I know It has the capacity to be, take some corrective action with the worker Eri. Thank you for your time.

One of my professors told me that he grades papers by judging what we choose to not talk about rather than what we do talk about. The same principle applies here. You can tell that the Paws and Go staff put a lot of thought into it by looking at what they don't stock. All in all it's a great place that provides comfort for me when I need it most.

Almost as though it was a liquor store/mini mart before a 7-Eleven opened here. The parking lot is small, and inside is a little dingy and cluttered, but they have the essentials: hot (usually) fresh coffee, fountain drinks, lottery tickets, etc. Parking in the small lot is tough for big trucks, and the adjacent street has hit or miss parking rules, due to the nearby University. However, access to this 7-Eleven is a lot easier than the store a few blocks west on Foothill, especially when you want to head eastbound to APU. There are some neighborhoods within walking distance that might get a little tough, but for the most part, things are pretty mellow around here. Oh thank heaven...

My usual pharmacy was out of a new med that I am just starting for my son (fail). Im not an idiot, but never once in my entire life have I taken a medication that needed to be diluted. Per the Doctor's instructions, give half a prescribed dose for a few days to slowly ramp up to full dose. OK cool. So Walgreens San Dimas is out of it (like always), so I ask if they will send it thru another local pharmacy and he says ok. They have it in Glendora. So I pull up and the most unfriendly Walgreens employee ever who answers the drive through window. Id give you her name but shes not wearing a name tag...just a black hijab. Confused looking, she pulls out the medicine and called over a Pharmacist. Also, hes unfriendly, and the pharmacist doesnt say one word to me, much less look up and make eye contact with me. His name was like "Thian" or something close, Asian guy. I drive off and for the first time ever give my son this half dose of Zoloft and he screams that its HORRIBLE. And im like... I had a whole discussion with the doc about making sure what he prescribed was a liquid. Hes 9 and everything is chewable...so he prescribes Zoloft liquid. I had a tiny bit on my finger so I decided to taste it and see if my son was accurate...well it was foul. It tasted like putting your tongue on a battery. He began seeming like he was hallucinating and hearing strange sounds being restless after taking this first dose. So I turned the lights on to comfort him and while I did that googled Zoloft for 9 yr old and symptoms and while I was there on Google, I happened to see on the internet that it was supposed to be administered diluted! OMG I checked the package and didnt see this indicated. Also the doses on the box do not match the dropper by 5 MLs. Like I said...im not an idiot...but I just administered a psychiatric drug to my son for the first time ever which tasted beyond horrible (because it was concetrated, then he reacted not well to the first dose. Please look up my receipt as I would like a call about this. No verbal instructions and this one line of info was found the next day buried half way down on the hand out and printed tiny on the back of the bottle label. If I have never diluted medicine...please tell me how I would have known to go find this tiny bit of info. Walgreens Glendora Pharmacy screwed up. I had to tell my son...that I could not see this tiny line and gave him an undiluted half dose on his first night. No wonder he was going bonkers and saying he never wanted to take it again, hearing noises and seeing things floating from the corner of his eye. I am lucky I found this tidbit on Google when I researched a reaction and this is also how I was warned about possible diarrhea. I wasn't. What is the Walgreens Pharmacists purpose? Why do the written label instructions have 2 different measurements? Which one is correct? Is it 1.5 mgs or 25 mls because the label doesnt match the dropper. How did this happen if 2 people check? Why is the warning printed so tiny and stuck on behind the label? Why is this one line buried so far down on the print out? Why didnt I get a verbal briefing?...oh by the way..this medicine is concentrated and needs diluted? Your son may get diareahh and no its not because of diareah lettuce parasite going around...its his new med??? Make it make sense?!?!? Dumfounded...but dont worried I called a medical person to explain what the hell happened here...and well...here I am on a Yelp rant...this is not acceptable.

There was no line, so the store associate took his photo and uploaded it to their system. After, we inquired about the free digital copy (which was advertised on the Walgreens website as well as on the signage in store), the associate said they had never heard about it. He eventually reached out to a coworker who confirmed that the free digital copy was in fact a valid offer. Once my friend paid for his photos, he checked his email as the photos are supposed to be emailed upon purchase. Unfortunately they were never delivered, so we asked the store associate if there is anything he could do. He did little to look for alternatives and simply stated that it was not possible to get into the system to resend. The printed photos weren't the best quality (the background appeared a bit gray) so even when uploaded to the passport site, the photo was disapproved. If you are looking to get new passport photos, I would highly recommend looking elsewhere.
