Seasonal pumpkin latte, Jasmine White iced green tea, and Nutella croissant.

Minus 1 star for the mosquito issue: they really need to drain the front entrance mini water fountain or put some solution in it that prevents mosquitos from breeding in the water, a bad issue during summer and late summer. Also, a very unpleasant indoor experience because you'll bit so much sitting indoors or even outside too because of that water fountain! Besides that, the customer service is fantastic here. While they seem short staffed whenever I've ordered here, they do their best to accommodate the longer wait times for receiving your drinks, pastries, food, etc. The quality is still top notch even though there is longer wait times and the short staffed issue. I love getting the Nutella croissant and one of their flavorful, lightly sweet iced teas. Recommended spot to get work done on your laptop or a chill café for catching up with friends. Pro-tip: park around the corner or if there's parking in front, you can just park there if you don't want to walk that far to return to your car.

I had a wonderful coffee date with the hubby. The ambiance is perfect for enjoying some sun and it offers a zen feeling. I love that they have the shade of a coffee tree. The staff were friendly, the Chai was delicious. I enjoyed the guava cheese croissant! I was pleasantly surprised with the flavors of the burrito and the salsa! I saw they have live music sometimes so I'm looking forward to checking that out too!

I found out about this little hidden gem of a coffee shop from my friend! Location: it has a large sign on top of the building but it blends in very easily with its surroundings. They do not have their own parking lot but there are plenty of street parking all around if you don't mind walking a few mins. Ambiance: pretty quiet for a coffee shop. A lot of college students come here to study or do work. There are plenty of outlets around (inside and outside)! Plenty of seats but a lot of the tables are more meant for 1 person if you're planning on using laptops. Food: the drink selection is pretty standard but they do have seasonal drinks that alternate throughout the year. Latte art is on point and the drinks are not overly sweet. I had the seasonal ube latte and it had a slight coconut taste and not over sweet like other coffee shops. There are croissants available and they would toast them for you if you'd like I would highly recommend this place to mainly study or catch up on work. You can come to socialize with friends but a majority of the people here are studying with their headphones on.

I was on a mission to get something for my son and that meant traveling to LA early in the AM. I love supporting local businesses so I found Mantra to stop and get some coffee and food. I initially passed it. luckily I was able to find a parking not that far from it. Parking is tricky since it's only street parking from what I saw. When I walked in it reminded me so much of coffee shops I use to go to in Portland. Loved the outdoor and indoor decor. The trees and plants make it feel so warm and inviting. I bet it also helps keep it somewhat cool during the hot days. They have local items for sale when you walk in to the right which looked so cute. Didn't have time to see because of my mission. Because I wasn't sure how long it was going to take, we ordered ahead. The food and drinks were ready by the time we got there. I ordered their Aztec latte. I love to try spicy drinks. It was really good. I would have never thought to use mini chili's to do a drink like this. I think my only feedback would be to either blend the chili's a bit more or strain them. There were a few times I got some big ones. I also got their guava cheese croissant. So good. Maybe a little to much filling but that might just be a me thing. If I lived closer, this is where my husband and I would be working and studying. If I am ever in the area again this is where I'll be stopping.

I popped into Mantra Coffee for an early evening of work and had myself a lovely experience! From the kindness, warmth, and helpfulness of staff to the artisan crafts available for purchase, and of course the bevvies... this spot was a great choice! There is plenty of seating available, ample outlets, strong and steady wifi, and a relatively quiet ambience - so this is definitely a good place to stay and get some remote work done at. Overall, Mantra Coffee gets a 10/10 rating from me. Definitely looking forward to popping by for another visit the next time I am in town!

What a whimsical coffee spot - hidden away from the world, it's like stepping into a secret garden of sorts haha! Service was so friendly and they have quite a large menu and wide selection of food too. Met a lovely Yelp friend for a coffee/brunch date and what a cute little spot! It's located on a very busy street but it's so tucked away you don't notice. And the vibe and decor transport you to another world once you get through the gate! You're greeting with a lovely courtyard, complete with bubbling fountain and lots of cozy little nooks and crannies to sit and chat in. But inside is where the real magic is!! The colorful, artsy tiles on the floor along with the stained glass windows and various seating arrangements create the coziest place to relax, work, or just chat to a friend. I definitely walked away with some decoration inspiration for my own house lol! My friend got the Olive Oil Cake and Rose Matcha seasonal drink. I tried a bite of the cake and it was nice - very similar to a pan de Elote but with a very sweet icing. I liked it. She said her rose matcha was not her fave - the matcha is powdery and gritty. I got the seasonal honey lavender latte with a ham and cheese croissant. The honey lavender latte was just ok - it had a decent amount of sweetness and creaminess, but the lavender flavor was pretty much nonexistent so I was kinda bummed about that. My ham and cheese croissant was a tad dry but had a good flavor and they use quality meat. The staff behind the counter were extremely friendly and welcoming. There is Mantra merch for sale on the wall, as well as a little "store" of sorts in one corner that showcases pieces and wares from local artists which I thought was nice. They also have a little "free library" inside - very fun! Their prices are a tad high, but not that much different from the surrounding area nowadays. It's close to APU so lots of students around and can get busy. I only saw street parking available - out front and around the corner. Sitting outside would be a bit noisy with the traffic but inside I didn't notice it. Also - they have an upstairs area that they rent out via AirBnB. Not sure the pricing but it's very sleek and modern. It looks very nice but definitely doesn't have the same whimsical charm as the coffee shop.

Go try it! Hard to find, but worth the extra work. We were nearby and found this little gem on yelp. The coffee was tasty and the sugar treat did the trick!! We tried the pumpkin cold-foam and now I'm hooked! We live a bit far to go often, but I want to go back just for more. Plenty of inside and outdoor seating. Lots of it was full worn folks studying but we still found places to enjoy. The staff member was helpful and a bit over worked being by themself but took good care of us.

Such a cute place to come and enjoy a coffee. There's plenty of outdoor and indoor seating available. I came here with my sister after work on a Friday evening to hangout. Service was fast, friendly and their staff gave us a few recommendations. We tried their green tea latte and home made donut. The donut was fresh, soft and buttery. It's not your typical donut, it's very unique looking and tasting. I love the fountain located in the entrance. It adds a nice touch to the shop. We sat outside and were delighted to hear the soothing sounds coming from the fountain.

Really cool space in Azusa to have some coffee and lunch alone or with a group. Prices I would say moderate to high. My grilled cheese was good, toasted well, with subtle flavor. My latte was good, lavender was good, I would say they did a really good job with the honey cold foam, that part was very delicious. Parking was on the street, the menu is through their QR code that the cashier person not so nicely told me. You order and pay for your items and find a seat, when your order is made they will call your name and you will go to the counter to the right and receive your order. I came in between 1-3 it was very loud. The noise simmered down close to 3.

so sadge to see it come to an end! so many of my friends would study/ wfh here and i just tried this place out. super homey vibes, welcoming staff, and great coffee/ pastries. we ordered the ube latte, vietnamese coffee, and dirty chai -- all iced for a sweltering hot summer day. honestly for the price it wasn't that great xD but the way it serves as a nice place for the community tops it all. goodbye ~~~

Their lattes are so good but gets kind of pricey if you get it with a flavor and a different milk substitution. My iced vanilla latte was ($6.40) I found this place awhile ago and became hooked on their iced vanilla latte. Not too sweet and not too bitter. If you get it with oat milk, there's more of a nutty creamy flavor. If you get it with whole milk, it's more smooth. I personally like it more with whole milk. There's plenty of seating inside and also outside. The parking though... can be tough since it's only street parking with no a big parking lot. The place can be hard to find too so make sure to slow down once you've made the turn onto San Gabriel Ave. Definitely my go to spot whenever I'm craving coffee!

What a cute little place! Stopped in on a rainy day and inside was nice , warm and staff were inviting. Coffee was amazing and the croissants where top notch. I've had these same croissants at a few other local coffee shops. Apparently they get them from a bakery nearby. I love the seating area as it feels like you're in the living room of a house. It's a great place to sit and chat and sip your coffee on an early Saturday morning. Parking is on the street, which there's plenty of , otherwise there's a public parking lot across the street.

Quaint little camouflaged coffee shop. If you don't know about it you could easily miss it. Bright and airy secret garden of tranquility to enjoy your alone time or hunker down and get some work done. Thank you for great coffee! A proper espresso and cortado.

    Yup!

    Do they allow private parties?

Our events coordinator can be reached at events@mantracoffee.com

    How is parking?

Street parking is plentiful on all areas around the coffee shop, across the street there is a large public parking lot that is also free and we have a small private lot with just a few spaces accessed by the alley.

    Is there AC inside?

    That there is!

Any outdoor heaters during the colder weather in the morning?

Ironically, Churro Boss (Covina) offers better quality ice cream than churros. I arrived at Churro Boss (Covina) on Sunday (around 2:35PM). Staff is very welcoming and attentive. Staff speaks English and Spanish. Staff answered all my questions. I ordered the Churro Sundae ($10). This dessert includes one scoop of ice cream and two six inch churros. I selected the Chocolate Malted Crunch ice cream scoop. The entire dessert was ready in eight minutes and 16 seconds. The dessert arrived picturesque. The Churro Sundae ($10) is attractive and fairly large; however, its taste is underwhelming. Although it felt like the churros were made-to-order in the backroom, the churros tasted bitter, chewy, and overcooked. These churros also lacked sweetness. Rather, these big churros tasted like chunky breadcrumbs. Fortunately, the Chocolate Malted Crunch ice cream scoop tasted delicious! It had an addictive crumbly texture. The ice cream also carried a chill and creamy chocolate flavor. Regarding ambiance, Churro Boss (Covina) is lackluster. It feels empty. The only seating is one long counter which had splotchy dried stains and crumbs. The location also has no restroom. Customers need to use their bottle of hand sanitizer or napkins if searching to clean their hands. There's two electric wall sockets in the far corner. And steady country music played in the background. Churro Boss (Covina) tries to be be modern and minimalistic. Overall, Churro Boss (Covina) offers tasty ice cream and pleasant service. Unfortunately, its churros are overpriced and somewhat unpleasant. If searching for some tasty ice cream, this location holds potential. 3.5 out of 5

The Pumpkin Pie Crepe tasted exactly like a pumpkin pie, as expected. However, it wasn't too sweet and had more of a real pumpkin flavor that pair very nicely with the pecans and caramel drizzle. The crepe was cooked perfectly and held together nicely with all the other ingredients. The portion size was large and could be shared between two people. It didn't exactly blow me away, but I appreciated the fact that it tasted like I was eating a pumpkin pie without the over sweetness. The Turkish Coffee was okay in my opinion, but it could be because I'm not used to it. Creamer and sugar packets are provided.
