A little bit of a crazy store even on a Monday night. Lots of people shopping going in about. A bit scary for me.

I made a quick trip to the grocery store yesterday because there was a Labor day sale. I was excited to use the coupons I received in the Shoprite flyer. You can also use your digital coupons if you didn't receive the paper with the coupons. Here are the deals- corn: 8 for $2.96 and watermelon for $5.77, and figs for $4.99 a box. I just couldn't pass up these deals. The staff are helpful when you are not able to find the items you are looking for. Ambiance: It gets really busy when there is a good sale so plan your trip to the grocery store accordingly. I will continue to shop here for more good deals.

I drove 20 minutes to pick up a bunch of sushi. I was craving it.... you know, soy sauce and wasabi mix with fresh sushi... Sine it was Sunday I thought it was a safer bet then hunting down an open sushi bar. I was right! Lots to choose from and it was a buy 2 get one free! I packed up 6 packages and hit the check out. $70 later with a couple personal items I was out. I got home only to find there is almost NO WASABI in these containers! And what was there isn't even fresh wasabi... it's like it's mixed with something to thin it out. Like the size of a pea. I was pissed!! I mixed them all together and it was only good for about 1/3 of the sushi. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! $60 down the drain.... it really ruined the entire experience.

Convenient pharmacy for meds while doing your grocery shopping. Surprisingly the department is not too busy compared to other chain pharmacy. Efficient and polite staffing. Phone notifications when meds are ready for pickup. Use "Good Rx" app for coupons on prescriptions if you don't have insurance. Better coupon pricing than CVS, Walgreens, and Target.

Shopping is less of a chore at Shoprite. Because it is open 24 hours, it never seems to crowded. Thankfully it has most staples in stock even during this Covid-19 crisis, they have restocked flour and basics since the first wave of panic shopping. There are signs on the front door alerting customers if there are limits to items for example paper products. Shoprite still has amazing specials, the can can sale is still on. We still go once a week. They even had boxes of 100 gloves for under $5 during the first wave of the crisis. There are now plexiglas screens by the checkout clerks. I want to thank ShopRite for excellent service.

Why do they let so many people in at the same time? Many not wearing mask ,don't they care about customers and employee' s well being?

This place definitely lives up to the hype! The food here is amazing, and when I say food, I mean…read moremore than just the baked goods. Starting off with the baked goods, the brown butter corn cake may be the single best pastry I've had in my life. It has a great crispy exterior and a super moist and decadent interior that just makes it the best pastry you could ever ask for. I also think they have one of the best chocolate chip cookies in the city, and their cinnamon roll is light yet executed perfectly. In addition to their pastries, their sandwiches are amazing. My favorite is this chili crisp tofu sandwich. It is packed with great flavor, perfectly tender tofu, and is layered between two pieces of delicious bread. I also love their arugula burrata prosciutto sandwich that is paired so nicely with their focaccia, making each bite the ultimate experience. While I've never waited in a really long line, I can say that they do move pretty efficiently. Unfortunately, there isn't much room to eat inside, but on a nice day, if you can grab a table outdoors, it's a great experience in the lovely Greenpoint neighborhood.

There was basil in the first sandwich that cuts through the fattiness of the meat and cheese which was great. The second sandwich had this spicy sesame sauce which was so good - was not expecting to like the tofu one that much. Brown butter corn bread was the most moist one I've ever had and the top was so crispy. Rhubarb pastry was good but nothing special - didn't taste the rhubarb.

Even though there is a line, you do not feel rushed or pressured to order quickly. On this visit we ordered plain croissant, chocolate croissant-fresh out of the oven, rhubarb croissant, black forest pastry and brown butter corn cake. The chocolate croissant was amazing. It is triple chocolate and cocoa powder is in the dough. It is filled with milk and dark chocolate, so creamy. The plain croissant was flaky and light. The brown butter corn cake was crispy and caramelized on the outside and soft and moist. The Black Forest croissant is a seasonal offering. It is made with their Triple Chocolate Croissant filled with chocolate cake and sour cherries and topped with mascarpone cream , Rhubarb & Custard Croissant . It is tart and sweet. The rhubarb is roasted and complimented with sweet vanilla custard. They all were excellent. Each were about $8. Highly recommend and don't let the line deter you .
