This use to be a great online auction before everyone found out about it. When it first went up live the items were so worth it. Now everyone knows about it and it's expensive now. Also, if you're sent the wrong item. It's your job to send them a picture of the object and go and stand in a line to return it. email I sent to their support: I've ordered twice now from goodwill.com. I quick suggestion I have is to lower your handling and/or shipping costs. I bid on a vest for 7.99 and thought I was getting a real good deal. I am not rich by any means so saving money was tops on my mind. That 7.99 price quickly tripled in price when shipping and handling came into play. I want to use goodwill.com more, but I can't with these prices that add up so quick. Went back. To get my item that was missing from the box. They found it. But one of the adjusters was broken. This was something that wasn't listed or stated. Which was a pretty obvious thing. So. :-( is what it is I guess. I think after this last experience. I will shy away from shopgoodwill auctions. It seems the items are often in poor condition or most commonly the shipping and handling are as much as or often times cost more than the items you're purchasing. Description of items is also misleading. A poster of an autographed item doesn't equal an autographed item. Very misleading. Also if you state something is signed by someone. Like a Jersey. Be signed by that person. Lots of inconsistencies and deception. read more

May be the absolute worst GW to purchase from sadly. They do not package items with care and I guarantee if you purchase something fragile it will 100% arrive broken. Once it does, they make it impossible to get a expedited refund. The website is buggy in uploading pictures and once you are able to, they will tell you that first they will submit a claim that will take a week prior to any refund or action being taken. No comment in the description and the blurring picture didn't show it. I also bought two reals and each were obviously broken and the picture or comment didn't show it. They went above and beyond with their service to me on my visit. Even though I was never going to make it in time for the hours of operation that they have posted. They were able to quickly figure out a solution which worked out the best for both of us. Which I was truly grateful for, since this location/stop was mapped into my families already scheduled drive down towards SoCal. I have purchased many items on the shopgoodwill.com website. Most arrive with no problem. But the last couple of items never got shipped. They take forever to reply. Weeks go by without getting your items. When they do reply, they basically say "Thanks for letting us know, we'll look into it"...then you never hear back. I'm about to have my bank reverse the charges for the last item I purchased. I won't be buying from them again. Too bad...they have some really cool and unique items...but you can't trust that you'll ever get the items that you win. :( read more

I rarely have a problem with the service. Everyone is always nice. They are timely. However, I have had problems with missing items. Items that I purchased have just disappeared and nobody knows what happened to them. They have always been nice things that are popular purchases. This had been a reoccurring problem. Lately, it seems better. I have not had this problem in a while. Nobody ever answers the customer service phone and they do not return messages. I have had problems with incorrect descriptions as well. You really need to look at the photos when bidding on items. I have had items listed as functioning and they do not function. for the last one month i received 5 broken items out of 8 orders. they charge a lot of money for handling and shipping, but the items were poorly treated, wrapped by employees. as a result = broken. if 2 items are in the order ,one is big and one is small, and the bigger item is broken , they divide the money i spend for both in half, and refund it for the bigger item even if they sell similar item separately for more money. not fair !!!!! they lie about the condition of the items. read more

I won a vintage mechanical alarm watch on shopgoodwill.com from a store in New Jersey. The description said "fully functional," but this could not be further from the truth. One of the crowns slipped out of the case, and the watch would not wind. I don't know if they just didn't bother to check and assumed it worked or if they just lied. Buyer beware. read more
