Produce consistently moldy. I cannot continue to come here any longer. I've given them a year to improve but every week I am disappointed. I guess I will literally just have to drive to Paramus Whole Foods or pay a toll to drive to Wegmans to get decent produce.

why is this place amazing? Let me put it simply... $2.50 FIJI WATER 1.5L Now you don't have an excuse to drink like a mere peasant. They only play Taylor swift and Coldplay music while you shop here (we need some PESO PLUMA bumping in here). And service is always friendly, But stop drinking coffee. Drink Fiji Water.

Their reaction to Covid had not been good. Cut back on cashiers to force self checkout. Running less specials. Still the best full service supermarket around. Plenty of parking. Help is always attentive.

Been looking for these forever! So excited they finally carry this flavor to try!

Sorry my fellow lovely yelpers, but the poor reviews on this one are insane. Still love you all though! The sushi wasn't freshly caught ten minutes ago waving it's fin at you while the chef prepared it in front of you? An employee was disgruntled working minimum wage after getting out of school? Not every one of the 20+ lanes were open so you had to wait? The cashier chatted with their coworker for one minute while ringing up your frozen goods and they melted before your eyes? You had to get in your car for thirty seconds to drive down the lot to the relocated liquor store so they could expand their hot foods, produce, bakery & organic sections instead? Store is clean with no critters pushing their shopping cart alongside me, lanes move, food isn't expired, pricing is lower than most, deli has computerized Dexter feature including a precut section for even faster service, can't find an item you are looking for then head over to courtesy and request it to be brought in which they usually accommodate, produce & meat are fresh if not often being restocked from the high turnover, most often associates willingly help you and wish you a nice day, and I could go on and on... If you don't want to go through these "headaches" perhaps you might want to take advantage of their ShopRite delivers service. One star short because it's not Neiman Marcus. Tip: check out their new Wallington store! You might be happier here instead, but I like to shop as close as possible to home after work.

10 I like Shepherd because it's cheaper than Stop & Shop. You get a lot of deals in ShopRite every week they have sales.

The Deli needs a great deal of improvement I was so disgusted with the display of the open cold cuts that I decided not to buy anything.

After Covid I felt the store had changed for the worse, but after shopping today I see that there has been a vast improvement.

After my first visit, I can say the tongue-in-cheek spirit of Vinnie Mootz's signage carries right through the front door and into its lineup of "SANGWEECHES." I ordered "The Nicky Mootz" -- cutlet, bacon, hot sauce, and fresh mootz -- and enjoyed it immensely in the friendly, medium-sized dining room. The pizza, which I plan to try on a future visit, looked excellent, and the small assortment of hand-stretched mozzarellas is reason enough to stop back in the next time I'm passing through. It's a Jersey sandwich -- excuse me, sangweech -- shop with all the charm, humor, and flavor you'd hope for the community!

Chicken Parmesan with vodka sauce (8.7/10) - Bread was toasty with a nice crunch. Vodka sauce was light and creamy, and the mozzarella was very fresh (lots of cheese pulls). The chicken was thin but crispy and tasty. A little more sauce and chicken would really take this to the next level. Italian Sub with the works 9.2/10 - Bread was very soft and gave a nice bite to the sandwich. They were very generous with the meats, cheese, and fixings. The veggies were fresh and mayo was good quality. All the ingredients came together nicely with every bite with no ingredients missing in any part of the sandwich
