I've never written a negative review before, but this experience was beyond unacceptable. I placed a custom cake order that we discussed, confirmed, and had in writing. I started calling at 9am to finalize the invoice and never heard back until 2pm. When I finally reached someone, I was spoken to with open hostility and told, "What was I supposed to do, make the cake in an hour?"--despite the fact that everything had been confirmed days prior. The owners mother and counter girl spoke to me in a way I've never experienced from any business or anyone for that matter . Shockingly rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. I have written proof and photos showing they do take custom cake orders, despite later claiming they don't. There was no misunderstanding, no mix-up--just unacceptable behavior. I strongly recommend staying away from this establishment. No customer deserves to be treated this way. read more

A small cute shop. One side sells treats to go. The other side is a small dessert ice cream shop. The milk shakes are extremely large and decadent. All the items had cute designs. I'll come back for the next big holiday to see what they have. read more

When you drive down Stuyvesant Ave, out of the corner of your eye you can see this huge beautiful floral arrangement that is outside of Trina's! It's absolutely gorgeous and only foreshadowing the beautiful interior of this shop. Decorated from floor to ceiling, everywhere is decorated perfectly. Onto the treats - anything and everything you could hope for. They have chocolates for every occasion. Valentine's Day was around the corner and I stopped in for chocolate and caramel covered apples which they had - beautifully decorated also. The Jennifer Coolidge cookies absolutely made my day, I mean does it get any better? Yes, it does. There's an ice cream shop next door! Trina also has some fantastic milkshakes I keep eyeing on her Instagram. They look beautiful and with super delicious flavors. I'll absolutely be back to get some of the fun flavors of Oreos and more chocolates! Of course I'll just have to try some ice cream while I'm there. Delicious chocolate here. I bought chocolate covered pretzels and Oreos. All were great. I plan on stopping here again when in the area.

I absolutely love this place. After passing by every night on the way home from work, we finally ventured over to try out this fairly new "treat" spot. My son is very traditional and got a basic milkshake. I got the Carmel pretzel ice cream with Nutella and yes.... captain crunch toppings. It completely worked. The ice cream was excellent quality and the toppings are just phenomenal. They have from the most traditional and basic to completely thinking outside of the box. It's well decorated with a great theme going on. For all the pink lovers - this is the place to be. They have so many homemade icecream flavors ranging from dairy to dairy. Such a cute place with delicious ice cream! Definitely a few photo ops with the floral arrangement at the entrance and the pink... everything! Perfect for a few pics with the girls while you stop for a cone, or a quick date night if you're in the area. The store was super clean and had both indoor and outdoor seating (not to mention a cute pink comfy couch I wish I could take home). They have a few treats other than ice cream to choose from (chocolate covered Oreos/pretzels, brownies, etc) and the cone options were exciting looking but we wanted to share so we got a bowl with one scoop. The attention to detail of the treats and decor is definitely a 10/10. The cookies and cream ice cream was seriously delicious. I would say it's a tad overpriced for the size but you're paying for that extra cuteness since it's not your typical Dairy Queen. It would be cool though if they had some recommended sundae options that come with different topping combinations because I'm pretty indecisive lol but that's my own problem. This place is mostly overhyped for the quality of treats they offer. My friend and I came for ice cream and she said her cone tasted old and stale. Maybe they had pre made them in batch, but there is no reason to give people stale cones.The ice cream I believe they use "Nasto's Ice cream" from Newark which is supposed to be good, but we both thought it was flavorless and bland. Nothing special about it. You are better off buying a pint of strawberry Hagen-Dazs that has real strawberries in it. The only thing worth coming here for is all the decor and selfies you can take. The treats are overpriced in my opinion each little cake sickle ranges from $4-6 each, depending on what theme you want to order. I got a price quote for my bridal shower and Trina's was the most expensive out of all the places I quoted and again, nothing extra or special about it. If you're looking for a photo op with average, overpriced treats this is the place to come. read more

Ok ya'll. I love ice cream. I am also very picky. Trina's Treats ice cream is delicious! Holy cow. My husband and I went today on a whim and we really enjoyed it. I got the cherry vanilla (just wish there were a few more cherries) and my husband got the salted caramel pretzel (perfect ratio of pretzels to ice cream, SO SO GOOD). The ambiance is very cute and trendy. There are lots of fake flowers and the decor is overall great for pictures! The service was mostly good. We will be back, very soon! read more

They Didn't have my Order ready for a Party After having already confirming the Details , Date AND Time of my pick up . I started messaging with Trina's Treats on social media a Month prior to my event , i then fallowed up with her a week prior . We had pined down all the details of my order down to how many people I needed to feed , the theme , date , time and price point that I would be picking it up at . At NO POINT Did she Specify that I would need to call the shop to confirm my order . So when I showed up at the date and time I had confirmed over message, my order was never even started . I live over an hour away . This displayed Tremendously poor management skills . I Will not be referring any of my clients here . And definitely will not be providing them any of my own business. With cute pink tables and floral decor outside, to the pink velvet seats inside this place id say it is definitely Instagram worthy. I've been here twice already and both times the atmosphere has been so quaint. With staff whos always greeting you with a smile! They are also attached to a chocolate and sweets boutique next door that includes a variety of specialty chocolates, cookies, cupcakes and more! Menu: Trina's ice cream selection offers a wide selection of home made ice cream. From the traditional Mint chocolate chip, chocolate, pistachio to fun flavors like Creamsicle, Cannoli and cookie monster! They also make brownie sundaes and an amazing looking nacho flight which uses waffle chips as the nacho with your ice cream scoops! Overall: I'm a Mint chocolate and coffee ice cream goer. I've been to Trina's treats many times, and they do not disappoint. Their ice cream is from Nastos in Newark, which, in my opinion, is one of the best! Her treats are aewsome. The store is nicely decorated and reminds me of an old-fashioned ice cream parlor. I had the pleasure of meeting Catrina and her father on my last visit, and they are wonderful people. I live about 20-30 minutes from Lyndhurst but make the trip whenever I want a sweet treat. It's well worth the trip! read more

Stopped in tonight for some ice cream. First appearance was very nice, the establishment was extremely clean , wonderful aroma in the air. The young ladies working there greeted us as we entered. The variety of ice cream was difficult to choose from. But we ordered the cotton candy ice cream with toppings which was awesome and mint chocolate chip shake, one of the best I've had. Couldn't leave without also getting the canoli ice cream to go for the rest of the family. Very reasonable prices. Gonna have to try a cake next time, this will be a must have this summer. read more

God awful, just a huge disappointment. I had high hopes for this place. We haven't had a new bakery in years in this town I guess aside from Patis but I don't really count them for obvious reasons. So I walk into the place and I can already tell the value the look of the place more than the actual pastries. I got one of those hot chocolate bar things since my daughter seemed to like them recently, I also got a cupcake. I tried the cupcake and gave the Hot chocolate ball to my daughter, The cupcake tasted like once again they preferred the looks over the taste. I took a sip of the hot chocolate ball hot chocolate and it tasted like a cheap knock off of the ones made by my friends daughter Jackie (she has a great business by the way you should go check it out) this place risks its quality to be trendy which should be easy to do but they failed at that as well, just go to Lyndhurst pastry shop they are 1 million times better trust me. read more
