My bestie lived in Ewa Beach which I've frequented for over twenty years and driving down you see several little shopping centers but nothing like Laulani Village Shopping Center. I remember when it started to break ground seeing "Safeway coming soon" sign and was definitely excited for the community and my bestie for more options though I was just clueless of what other plans they really had for this area. Adulting along with distance I wasn't around for the final unveiling and really had no idea until a visit with my bestie one day as she was my New Years resolution..."to put our happiness first and see her more" and we had our pedi here, can't remember the place but clearly remember the fun and smiles we had following with Starbucks of course...oh how I miss those days. She's now my angel but I do visit here when I can as there so much to do, shop and get things done the most recent was for her celebration of life and as I created a collage in honor of her life we need a place to get it printed...Yelped a bunch of places but it was 8pm and nothing was available so I drove in Laulani to rethink and...POOF! Walgreens!!! Staff there was amazing and we got it done in minutes and saved our day, so much memories and great wonderful business here including City Mill, Jolene's, Ross and many many services as well. Low on gas Safeway Fuel Station is a must as you get a discount for paying in cash many times no different from Costco. Thank you for the memories and happy moments!

Today I went to Safeway, Jolene's and Ahi & Vegetable. I liked all three locations better than the ones in town. It wasn't as crowded and I liked the open space. I also saw T-Moblie, Ross, Walgreens, City Mill and American Savings Bank in the shopping center.

I went to Aiea shopping center today. They had an elevator from the third floor to the first floor,…read moreit wasn't working. I had a stroke so I don't do stairs very well. So I had to cancel whatever was going to do because I couldn't get to the lower floor. There should be a sign indicating that the elevator doesn't work I spent over 20 minutes waiting for the elevator. Mahalo.

As many of the biz found here are loved by locals where you're able to grocery shop at Times while grabbing some snacks at Aloha Creamery and Ice Garden or to quench your thirst at Starbucks while taking care of the munchies at McDonald's, L&L, Aiea Pancake House, Makoto Sushi and so much more not to mention Aiea Bowl that we all love and have been to for eats and play it's also home to so many various services as well this multi level complex brings us here for many reasons and with lots of free parking getting it done is a breeze. It does sit on a very busy intersection for access which can get frustrating when you're heading to a specific direction but know that this is the spot to eat, shop and get things done. Thank you!

Love the easy access right off the freeway when I come from town along with entering is easy regardless which direction you're coming from and what I do love more is that whatever the reason that brings me to Kapolei chances are I stop here to either pick up lunch/dinner, pick up something at Safeway, fill up gas or even drop off donations or my recyclables...yup they have it all here. Many places have come and gone which I was sad to see my favorite craft store closing though it's nice to see that it gets filled up with newbies like Shimazu Shave Ice, 85o Bakery along with hand full of restaurants and various serves all are found where with lots of free parking makes it a great place to gather for whatever your needs. Shopping and dining in Kapolei, Oahu, Hawaii…read more.. This VERY large strip mall has almost everything! I haven't had time to explore it fully, but someday, I will! So far, I have been here twice recently for the Hawaii State Federal Credit Union. In the past, I was at Sushi Bay... a very popular eatery. I know that there's a Safeway... and I saw some fast food restaurants across the parking lot... and Hele Gas Station! That's good to know! Longs will be useful to me in the future... and maybe 85°C Bakery and Mamaya. I'll be back!

This is the shopping center located on Fort Weaver/Geiger Road intersection. It is on the West…read moreside of Fort Weaver. There is an entrance/exit on Fort Weaver, and one on Geiger Road. This is the shopping center with notable names such as Genki Sushi, Foodland, Longs. The Foodland Gas Station is located here as well. 91-1401 Fort Weaver Road is the address. I know this because there are two Longs' on Fort Weaver Road, so when you need to fill your prescription, you need to distinguish which Longs you want it to go to. There is a shared parking lot for all of the stores on this strip mall. During busy hours, the lot really fills up around Foodland side. During dinner time, the lot fills up near the restaurants. (Duh! I realize I'm being "Captain Obvious" after having typed that out.) If you want to just park and don't care how much you have to walk, and not have to stress about circling the lot looking for parking, just park by Longs side of the mall. That's my go-to spot to park. This mall is super convenient due to its location and the fact they have Longs and Foodland here (two of the stores I frequent very regularly). You can often "kill two birds with one stone", shop at the two locations with one stop. Be careful here if you have a lowered/dropped car. There are speedbumps on the Longs/Foodland side of the mall. If you need to avoid them, stay on the Genki side of the parking lot. During the busy times, there are lots of cars and lots of traffic in this mall. Due to the size of the lot and the amount of cars, it can be a little heartrate-rising when you enter the lot to look for parking and when you're trying to leave. The layout makes the flow kind of slow with people pulling in and out of stalls, and when you're in the middle part of the lot having to get to one of the main thoroughfares to get to the exit, you just have to hope someone's nice enough to let you in.

Weather you're here to stock up at shop for your groceries at Foodland or take care of your cravings at Domino's, Gina's, L&L, Coco Ichiban, Hawai'i Pot Shabu Shabu, Ninja Sushi, Paco's Tacos, Ramen Bones, Pho Kapolei, and other services available here or what I came for tea...Yi Fang as I do love tea and have chargers at each seating giving me a chance to recharge. There's lots of shared free parking which makes it easy to park and enjoy whatever you're here for as I found myself enjoying the quiet vibe here regardless the bustling amount of cars that constantly come and go you can literally eat, shop and even get some deals with KVC Discount Card. Whenever I try to redeem the discount or a promo, the store treats me like I'm a criminal. Here's a few examples: The Foodland offer: free reusable bag with any $50 or more purchase. I thought this was a great promo, get some grocery shopping done, get a free bag. Win-win. NOT! Some of the workers have no clue about the promo, others say it's only good on the weekends and yet another said the promo expired. Foodland get your act together. I'm spending my money @ your establishment, isn't that a good thing??? (The promo doesn't say weekends only, and the promo is still posted on the KVC site with NO mention of an Expiration Date) L&L offer: 10% of your purchase. When I arrived at the restaurant I showed the cashier the promo ahead of time just in case they weren't gonna honor it, I would eat elsewhere...she looks at it. Asks what is that? Omg really? It's a promo your landlord is offering and you have no idea about it??? She takes my phone and goes to the back kitchen to talk to some guy and asks him about it. The guy says yeah they can accept that. 10% off isn't a real big deal, but I'm helping this establishment by eating there. Smh. So again, the discount program is a joke since the tenants are so resistant to honoring it. I don't understand why? If this brings in the traffic, why not honor it? Instead you make your customers feel like criminals or maybe even worse than that. I grew up shopping @ the Market City Foodland and L&L Hawn BBQ has always been my go-to local plate lunch place so I was elated to see these two tenants here in kapolei, expecting the same great friendly service...boy was I wrong! Across the parking lot, I have been to the very spacious Starbucks. A while ago, I went to Seafood City Supermarket which is a part of the long row of businesses - Umi Ramen is one of them. Hele Gas is also associated with this Shopping Center. I've patronized this business several times. Now, I know the name of this Shopping Center... haha... the free parking is much appreciated! I'll be back and I'll visit the other businesses!

Waianae Mall Shopping Center. (3 stars)…read more This is a mall that people come to for last minute shopping or because they live near. I am a person of the latter. The mall is right down the street from where I live so I find myself running here all the time! This is definitely not a mall I would go to "just to shop" as the businesses here are very very limited in what they offer. This mall has a 5$ (Starbucks), Burger King, Subway, Little Caesar's Pizza, Jeans Warehouse, Radio Shack, Chinese Take Out, Korean Take Out &a Sushi, American Savings Bank, Bank of Hawaii, Church that sells Dave's Ice Cream, Longs (24 hours), and City Mill to name a few. I normally come here to go to City Mill and Longs! These two stores usually carry what I need so I don't have to drive 12 miles to Kapolei everyday!! While it would be nice to get a Target or Walmart or Costco in Waianae I know that will never happen but I can hope can't I!!???

As Chili's is the dominant restaurant on the shopping center side, En Fuego and Julie'z Filipino Food are the most notable on the Marketplace side. You have Kapolei Family Medical center and Diagnostic Labs located here. There is also a credit union, food eateries, smoke shop and Fun Factory for the kids to enjoy. A must try is Ono Steak and Shrimp. They are a steak and shrimp place BUT their garlic shrimp is so good! Them sauce is a bit thicker and full of flavor. Another staple would be Koa Pancake house. No explanation needed for this place! A little more shops and this side may be as bustling as its neighbor center. Kapolei continues to grow and I can't wait to see what new shops will join this growing area.
