But from what I've seen so far, I'm already obsessed! There are so many Hawaiian-style stores that I've never seen before, plus tons of shopping, clothing, and dining options. Some of my favorite spots are here like SoHa and Jollibee. There's also Foodland, Macy's, a gym, and even a Hampton Inn nearby, which makes this area super convenient for both locals and visitors. And let's talk about all the food and fun: Cheesecake Factory, Taqueria Ranchero, and the movies?! Such a good mix of everything. Also... I'm happy to report there's a bathroom nearby by Olive Garden (which is honestly a BIG deal when you're out shopping all day in Hawai'i ). Overall, I love this place and can't wait to come back and explore more!

Rarely do I venture outside the "Honolulu" district (Hawaii Kai to Salt Lake is my radius ring) unless a special occasion calls for it. I blame gas prices but really, it's laziness. What brought me out to the 96707 was a new store that popped up just a hop away. Plus I've heard great things about KMA. So why not kill two birds with one stone? I love the array of shops and restaurants! Kapolei in general is bustling with so many shopping centers, you can make a day out of it! I grabbed a shirt from Spencer's, fashion jewelry at Lovisa, and even checked out the movies that day. Will check this place out again with my husband and young boys. There's a bubble play area and a big grassy lawn for active kids. Part two to be continued!

This is the nearest shopping center to my house. It is the older shopping center of Ewa/Ewa Beach…read more I am going to be a bit backwards but with good reason. I will tell you the negative FIRST. This center is in dire need of repairs/repavement for the parking lot. Potholes. Potholes galore! Okay. That's it ON WITH THE GOOD STUFF YAY A looong time ago there was a bowling alley that I would go to after school to hang out. I miss it. I think it really would do the community good..it'd give the kids something fun and positive to do (join leagues, hang in a safe place near home, etc) What we do have around is a bunch of eateries, a pet shop, an autoshop, a drugstore, a bank, and radioshack lol. OH and a gas station too! I work in this shopping center. The people that work in the shops nearby are all so friendly. This is a nice little place to go to if you're not looking for anything fancy or if you're just trying to get out of the house for a bit (Ewa Beach is so hot)

If you're interested in looking to DEALAGES, just head on down to the Westside (in the Waipahu area) because the Waikele Premium Outlet stores is there! There are so many stores here, so when you do visit the Waikele Premium Outlet, hopefully you'll find a store that will appeal for you. As for me, a few of my favorite stores I like to visit is - the Lowe's hardware store, Reyn Spooner, & the Van's shoe store. Beside shopping, the outlet mall also has restaurants, a small food court, & numerous food trucks in the parking lot so finding something yummy to eat shouldn't be too hard. Parking here is a breeze, as the outlet mall has ample parking. If you don't have a car, I noticed a lot of tourist would catch a shuttle to this outlet mall. Weather you're here to stock up at shop for your groceries at Foodland or take care of your cravings at Domino's, Gina's, L&L, Coco Ichiban, Hawai'i Pot Shabu Shabu, Ninja Sushi, Paco's Tacos, Ramen Bones, Pho Kapolei, and other services available here or what I came for tea...Yi Fang as I do love tea and have chargers at each seating giving me a chance to recharge. There's lots of shared free parking which makes it easy to park and enjoy whatever you're here for as I found myself enjoying the quiet vibe here regardless the bustling amount of cars that constantly come and go you can literally eat, shop and even get some deals with KVC Discount Card. Whenever I try to redeem the discount or a promo, the store treats me like I'm a criminal. Here's a few examples: The Foodland offer: free reusable bag with any $50 or more purchase. I thought this was a great promo, get some grocery shopping done, get a free bag. Win-win. NOT! Some of the workers have no clue about the promo, others say it's only good on the weekends and yet another said the promo expired. Foodland get your act together. I'm spending my money @ your establishment, isn't that a good thing??? (The promo doesn't say weekends only, and the promo is still posted on the KVC site with NO mention of an Expiration Date) L&L offer: 10% of your purchase. When I arrived at the restaurant I showed the cashier the promo ahead of time just in case they weren't gonna honor it, I would eat elsewhere...she looks at it. Asks what is that? Omg really? It's a promo your landlord is offering and you have no idea about it??? She takes my phone and goes to the back kitchen to talk to some guy and asks him about it. The guy says yeah they can accept that. 10% off isn't a real big deal, but I'm helping this establishment by eating there. Smh. So again, the discount program is a joke since the tenants are so resistant to honoring it. I don't understand why? If this brings in the traffic, why not honor it? Instead you make your customers feel like criminals or maybe even worse than that. I grew up shopping @ the Market City Foodland and L&L Hawn BBQ has always been my go-to local plate lunch place so I was elated to see these two tenants here in kapolei, expecting the same great friendly service...boy was I wrong! Love the easy access right off the freeway when I come from town along with entering is easy regardless which direction you're coming from and what I do love more is that whatever the reason that brings me to Kapolei chances are I stop here to either pick up lunch/dinner, pick up something at Safeway, fill up gas or even drop off donations or my recyclables...yup they have it all here. Many places have come and gone which I was sad to see my favorite craft store closing though it's nice to see that it gets filled up with newbies like Shimazu Shave Ice, 85o Bakery along with hand full of restaurants and various serves all are found where with lots of free parking makes it a great place to gather for whatever your needs. So far, I have been here twice recently for the Hawaii State Federal Credit Union. In the past, I was at Sushi Bay... a very popular eatery. I know that there's a Safeway... and I saw some fast food restaurants across the parking lot... and Hele Gas Station! That's good to know! Longs will be useful to me in the future... and maybe 85°C Bakery and Mamaya. I'll be back!

The monorail has been out of service for so long it makes getting around difficult. Basically the whole idea went down hill. Elevator and escalators are always out of service making it difficult for seniors and disabled people to gain access. A law suit should be addressed for NOT being ADA compliant. In certain area maintenance of debris and leaves and yard waste does not get picked up often enough. Parking lot strips are so faded the markings are hard to see. Lights are not working and visible in some areas. Management needs to be more active and walking the grounds instead of being in the office all day long. Security needs to be out and about roaming and visible more often. Not just watching a camera.

Shopping around…read more.. The numerous of times I've come here and it's not for the same business as the amount of space that's home to the various types of shops found here is impressive. I do love coming to The Boba Room for my fix, Savers to donate and thrift shop, Chris Peanut Shop II for snacks or many services and restaurants folks do come here for that and so much more. With lots of free parking provided by the shopping center it's a great spot that has several entrance depending on the direction you're coming from, it makes it so easy to shop and support local.
