I needed a Smog certificate, so I started looking for a garage in town…read more I checked Yelp and sure enough I found a couple of places...Now like most of my reviews I was aware of this garage and I'd been by it a hundred times, they were always busy. Certainly the sign of a good place whether it's a restaurant, car repair or a bar. I linked onto the site and followed along until I found the spot to make a reservation. Now the question was asked "leave car" or I'll wait". I chose leave the car and no reservations were available for a few days so...I backed up and chose I'll wait an available times popped up for tomorrow... Okay tomorrow 9:45 that would work. I arrived for my appointment a bit early, Jaedon was in the office and he logged the car in and said he'd call when it was ready, cool. So I left to do my work out and walk and a couple hours later I saw the missed call and a text to pick up my car, wow. Now he had told me the service fee and I thought that was a bit high and yes that price included the smog certificate. Once I was back in the office, (they have a great little waiting room just behind the shop) Jaedon reviewed the inspection they had done on the car and the washed my car too. A good shop will wash your car, that was cool. Everything was in good order, the car passed the smog test. I ordered the filters and wiper blades that needed replacement from the big A and saved a couple bucks. I was very pleased with the service and easefulness at Wimmers, you earned another happy customer. Foodguy - Martin

WOW!! My car has…read morehad trouble starting for the past several months intermittently; we replaced the alternator, battery, terminal... caps? whatever holds it in place. And never a solution that lasted very long. We kept wondering if it was the starter, and our suspicions were confirmed after my car had issues starting again this morning. We were turned away from a different shop, but a quick call confirmed that Wimmer's could help us out. We arrived around 12:45 and ended up picking our car up at about 5pm - they were able to switch out the starter and complete an oil change, they even gave me a complimentary exterior wash! Altogether it ended up around $900 including the diagnostic and the VERY thorough multipoint inspection. I'm so appreciative of the whole team, they really hustled to make sure that we could have our car back before they closed and it truly means so much.

Well I never thought this would ever happen ! I was happy with my service experience…read more I checked in for service today at 830 am my appointment time and was quickly assigned a service advisor. Joshua Whitlock. He was very helpful and professional. I have only had previously going back about 20 years, all horrible to bad experiences here with sales and service. So today being pleased was unexpected. It was a long awaited service for a factory recall on the passenger front airbag sensors. Check sensors and if needed replace them. He said 70% have been needing replacement when checked. To make matters stressful for me I came down from Paso. I explained to Joshua that my son in law was supposed to be off today so I could do my car appointment in SLO but due to fires burning all over CA he was not released from his CDF station and I would have to get back to Paso by 1125 to pick up the little one from Pre K. I had called my son as a backup to get him in case I was delayed at the dealership. Well the car was finished in less than 90 minutes. The Seat had to be removed to check sensors and replace them. So all was great and I was able to leave early and get back to North County to pick up the Grandson. I was very pleasantly surprised .

Please don't waste your time here like I did. They do not care about you. I was without a car for…read moreover 1 week and then charged a 329$ diagnostics fee that my insurance covered. But they changed me anyway and now I have to wait for a refund by mail that they said will take 2-3 weeks. Ok so first off: 08/18/26 Took my car in for an oil change. We're talking about a 2025 xse Camry. They told me I needed a new radiator. And that at my previous oil change in 04/08/26 they noticed a coolant leak and allegedly fixed it and didn't charge me and that I declined the diagnostic. Wouldn't you think that a service advisor would be looking out for their customers and inform me that a 2025 Toyota Camry shouldn't be having a coolant leak and that since I'm still under the 36K warranty it be best to check it out. NOPE they didn't say Shit. Instead I was charged the diagnostic fee and they advised me not to drive it. But yet I had drove it there completely fine and had been driving it completely fine. Same day I contacted my insurance and got everything squared away. Toyota said it should be done 08/24/26 due to having to order parts. 08/21/26 Toyota sent me a video showing they replaced the radiator and that everything was now fine and the car was ready. I called Toyota and Aaron said that since my service advisor John Espinoza was out there was nothing they could do. But that he would let John know to call me first thing Monday morning 08/24/26. Did John Espinoza call me early morning 08/24/26 NO did anyone from Toyota call me on 08/24/26 NO. 08/25/26 I called Toyota and asked if my car was ready since I received the video from Toyota showing my car was ready on 08/21/26. John told me the bumper was not sitting right and they needed my permission to have caliber collision to pick it up on 08/25/26. Before I could even agree he said oh they are here walking in the door. 08/26/26 I finally got my car back and my bumper isn't on right. 08/28/26 I called Toyota to ask for my diagnostic fee refund and John said oh yeah let me ask my manager and I'll call you right back. Did John call me right back? NO. John did not call me back. 08/29/26 I called Toyota and John answered his phone and after stating it was me calling again he said oh yeah I forgot to call you back. Did John talk to his manager? IDK. He said that they would have to mail me a check and that it was take 2-3 weeks to receive it. Did John confirm my information such as my mailing address or anything... NO. John called me back a while later and asked for my address. I asked if there was any way I could receive a refund in person since he first mentioned that I'd most likely need to go in person for the refund. John said he didn't have authorization for that and that I could speak to his manager. I asked if he could speak to his manager and let him know everything that's been going and and if he could make an exception and he said he already spoke to him and that he said this is not what they do and that I would receive a check in the mail. Please avoid this place they do not care about you or your car. Oh yeah and to top it off they refused to give my husband a ride home because we live in Grover. And the last time in April they agreed to give him a ride home and he waited a d waited and no one gave him a ride. They said they thought he asked to get picked up. Like hello ! These people don't even know what they are doing and clearly have extremely poor communication with their departments.

Early one morning this week, I got a call from him: "Papa, something's wrong with my brakes, and I need an oil change." Being far away, I immediately began an exhaustive online search for automotive centers in the area, carefully reading through numerous reviews to find a place I could trust to take care of him properly. Morin Brothers consistently came up in my search, so I gave them a call, and I'm very glad I did. From the very first interaction, Elena was outstanding. She was responsive, professional, patient, and incredibly easy to communicate with. Even after reading a mix of reviews that made me slightly hesitant, her level of care and clarity gave me the confidence to move forward. We discussed the needed services, oil change, front and rear brakes, and a tire rotation. While the cost was not cheap, it was fair and comparable to other estimates I had received. When Elena later called to review additional diagnostics, I admit I was cautious, but trusting her judgment, I authorized the work so my son's vehicle could be properly and safely evaluated. A few hours later, she followed great news: the additional diagnostics revealed no issues, and there would be no charge for that extra time. She also mentioned that a previous oil change may have resulted in some excess oil being spilled, which likely contributed to the concern. As a parent, especially with a student away at college, moments like this matter. It's not just about the repair, it's about trust, communication, honesty, and peace of mind. Morin Brothers delivered on all fronts. They communicated clearly, acted with integrity, and stood by their work. Whatever may have led to the occasional negative review, my experience suggests there may be more to those stories. This will now be our go-to shop for my son's vehicle. Even if, though perhaps not, the cost is slightly higher at times, knowing your son or daughter is being looked after properly, especially when you're not nearby as a parent, is worth every bit of it. I am truly grateful for professionalism, transparency, and care. Highly recommended. - Thaddeus Widmer

Very Disappointing Experience -- Perry Ford Lincoln of San Luis Obispo…read more Very disappointed with Daniel Bellamy. I contacted him about a used Lincoln Navigator, and he confirmed it was available. He knew I was driving from Manteca, about 4 hours away, specifically to see and potentially buy the vehicle. He even asked me to keep him updated on my ETA. If Daniel had told me someone else was seriously interested, I could have offered a deposit to secure the vehicle or simply not made the trip. I even texted him about 30 minutes before arriving, and he still gave me no warning. When I arrived, the Navigator was already sold. What really made me angry was seeing Daniel smiling and appearing very happy while I was standing there upset after driving all that way and not even getting the opportunity to see the vehicle. I found that extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. He did not apologize to me face-to-face; the apology came later by text. I understand vehicles get sold. That's not the problem. The problem is how Daniel communicated with me and handled the situation. A simple phone call could have saved me hours of driving. Very disappointing experience.
