Detailed Summary of My Experience: I contacted Jim initially just to get an estimate for finishing my basement, which was in a state that needed major work because the walls were made of cinderblock and the floors were complete concrete; it was a space that was probably best used for storage and I would not call it "comfortably livable." Jim arrived quickly for an estimate and helped me explore the possibilities of the space, even going so far as to note what would be difficult or expensive to pull off. Within days he provided an estimate for the job, which I found out during the process was a major ordeal involving many phases and individuals, so I'm impressed he was able to produce a price so quickly (and in the end it was an accurate price). I signed Jim up for the job because of his straightforward and pleasant attitude. In the weeks and months that followed (this was a major job, I want to note), Jim gave me frequent updates about what workers I could expect to come by and when/how-long they would be there. Every person who came onto the property was skilled and good about communicating what they would be working on, especially when they had questions about the possibilities of the space. Jim also handled all of the work involving the permits and he worked with the county to ensure everything was up to code. He also alerted me any time there was a change in plans or if there was a possibility of delay. Given how involved this basement-finish job was, there were plenty of opportunities for major hurdles, but the project was still completed in a timely manner, and it was always clear to me what was going on, what would happen next, etc. The final product is everything I could've wanted. Jim made efficient use of the space to make as much of it "comfortably livable" as possible. Even the water heater and HVAC unit were relocated with no diminishment in functionality just for the sake of making the basement as good as it could possibly be. I'm very pleased with the additional space my family has been given, and there isn't a single rough edge in the room. He is professional and can do everything from small fixes to large renovations. He brings a wealth of knowledge and perfection in his work that isn't seen often these days. I walked in, said I wanted to just browse, and was immediately given a 20 minute tour of their huge warehouse space. What you see out front is just the front door. I spent quite a while looking thru everything and then bought the slabs in my picture. All 2+ feet high and 2+ inches thick. All of that for $220 with their weekend sale. I really like that everything they sell is truly reclaimed wood, mostly from fallen trees or areas where trees are being removed and would then be otherwise thrown out or burned. My haul from left to right: - Black Walnut - Ash - 2 White Oak from the same cut so I can somehow book match them - Sycamore (need to read more about this) - And a Red Oak cutoff they threw in for free. This is from the Monocacy Civil War Battlefield. Some trees were being cleared and were ready to be thrown away!!! Really unique. Will definitely be returning!!!

They did an amazing job making sure that my appliances were clean and I truly appreciated it. However, when I began to move in and put stuff away I noticed that the inside of the kitchen cabinets and drawers were not cleaned at all. I ran my finger across the bottom and there was so much dust and debris. The same goes for all of the light fixtures. It seemed like they didn't dust anything and just did a surface wipe down. I ended up having to re-clean everything myself. I was very disappointed with having spent $400, I definitely felt like I didn't get what I paid for. I will say that they were kind when I spoke with them on the phone, I haven't had a chance to call back regarding this issue (I had it cleaned in the beginning of April) and I know it's well past that time but Ive had a lot of things hitting me back to back so tried to let it go and I'm sorry, I just couldn't. It bugs me a lot. I'd definitely be happy if something could be worked out regarding this but I also completely understand if nothing can be done because it's been so long. Like I said, they were very kind and did a great job with the appliances, I just strongly urge you to thoroughly check after they're done cleaning.
