    Delicious Crab Cake starter
    beth h.

Cute place located in the hip East Nashville area. Loved the outdoor dining on the spacious patio! I ordered a Crab Cake as a starter & my hubby ordered the Clam Chower My Crab Cake was oh so, delish! However, my hubby did not care for the Clam Chowder because it was too thick & not very hot. Our main entrees were Fish & Chips & Honey Dijon Salmon with a double order of broccoli. Both were yummy & be warned the portions are fairly large. Melanie, our server was a delight & very attentive to our needs. All in all a great experience will definitely be returning to sample other dishes.

We shared the Connecticut-style lobstah roll and the fish & chips (cod with natural cut fries), and both were delicious--fresh, well-seasoned, and reasonably priced for the portion. The lobstah roll was buttery and packed with flavor, and the fish had a perfect crunch without being greasy. Bonus points: they even had malt vinegar for the fries! This is the closest to authentic New England seafood I've found in Nashville. The restaurant was clean and provided ample parking and seating. Service was wonderful too--friendly and attentive. Definitely a great little seafood find in the city!

we went there last night. first, we got the cheese sticks. they give you around 8 and they're pretty good. I think it came with two different sauces. I ordered the pick three. two pieces of fried, panko encrusted cod and clam strips. the fish and strips were great. the meal came with two sides. I got the Coleslaw and fries. they bring you the fries in a paper bag. our waiter Bryce was great. Great food. will return.

Pick 3 fish & chips. Pretty tasty & not oily

First time here after an even in East Nashville. Staff was great, very friendly. We had a group of 10 & we all enjoyed our food. Some for clam chowder & I got clam growder (clam chowder & grits) it was sooooo good. Most of us got different fish & chips & shrimp. We all enjoyed it. Tartar sauce & cole slaw was good too. What I liked most is that the fried fish wasn't oily. Will definitely be back if I'm in the area.

Why don't more people know about this place! Been coming here ever since it used to be battered and fried. Super fresh lobster rolls. We got one chilled and one warmed and they were both delicious!! It wasn't too crowded so we sat on the patio and had a super friendly server.

Signature Fish and Chips! Good reason they are known for this..

What a great spot in East Nashville. Know that they are known for Seafood, but if that's what you are up for then head on over. The Fish and Chips are the specialty. There are options: Cod, Haddock or Pollock. I went for the Haddock, British which means breaded in Guiness Beer Batter. Not a thing wrong with anything there! Fish was excellent, well cooked and loved the breading. Fries come in a little brown bag and were a good match. Husband had the Signature which is cod. Also very good. Friends split the Sampler and I must admit the Pub style (Pollock) was really good! Might need to try that next time and yes, there is a return trip soon!

Best Fish and Chips EVER!! I have had some good fish and chips before being from Seattle, but this Fish and Chips was great! And that says a lot! We definitely will be back and I will be telling people about this place!

We were seated in the back room patio, and at first I got really worried since it was in the nineties and super humid, but pleasantly it was airconditioned and had some low speed fans so it was pretty comfy. The bench seating was firm, but plenty of pillows, so, although seated a little high, it was great. Chairs were fine as well. Service was great, our server was super friendly and really knew the menu and could speak not just to what we asked, but also made some great suggestions. Now, pretty sure this menu is super seasonal, so my choices may not be available when you read this, but highlights: Wood Fired Bread with Anchovy butter: solid, crusty (but not too) with a rich whipped butter, devoured quickly, but enjoyed the light smoke char. Snapper Crudo: Okay, the peaches threw me when I read the menu, but they were fantastic! Just a little spice on the agua chile, perfectly cured fish and really nice presentation. Tomato Salad: Perfectly ripe and sweet, the cherries and olives were easy to confuse until you bite into them, but they were both fantastic Wood Roasted Carrot: the carrots were a little inconsistent in size, and thus in softness. They were all good, but some were absolute heaven Octopus: generous portion, and perfectly cooked. The wood fire was not overbearing as it didn't taste smoked or burnt. just a great dish. Parisian Gnocchi: Didn't interest me on the menu, ordered as a recommendation and even though by this point I was not at all hungry, it was fully devoured. The snapper was great, however we did enjoy the Whiskey rebellion, an old fashioned and a tommy's margarita, so this dish was fantastic, but the memory is a bit fuzzy. Desserts are a not to miss, and the peach cobbler (foreshadowed but the fantastic peaches in the crudo) delivered in a great way to end a great meal. Thank you again for a great time!!!

No reservation? Don't worry, you may be able to grab a seat at the beautiful bar when you walk in. The atmosphere is fantastic. There's great music playing softly in the background, and as you look around, you realize you're dining inside a beautifully renovated old warehouse. Here's a little inside history: the building was once used to make handles for old hammers and axes. Look closely at some of the beams and you can actually see the hammer marks! Okay, enough history, let's talk drinks! I started with an Old Fashioned made with Sazerac Rye Bourbon. It was very good and served with clear ice, which is always a good sign. My only complaint? They used a red cherry instead of a Maraschino cherry. They definitely need to step up their Old Fashioned game! They also made a great Dirty Martini, or as I like to call it, a "Dirty & Skanky Martini." Now for the food! We started with the Spanish Octopus, which was absolutely delicious. The Bluefin Belly was very good, and the Corn-Milk Hush Puppies were SOOOO good! We also tried the Summer Squash, which was another great addition to the meal. For my entrees, I went with the Wild Striped Bass, WOW! Amazing flavor, and check out the Jonah Crab on top! I also tried the Grilled Swordfish with Brisket Marmalade, and that was another winner. The combination of flavors was fantastic! And I have to give a big shout-out to the service. Everyone was amazing, attentive, knowledgeable, and clearly knew the menu inside and out. If you're visiting Nashville, or you live here, put this place on your list! Great atmosphere, creative seafood dishes, excellent service, and some really memorable food. I'll definitely be back!

I liked how it was nice and high quality food and drinks, without being too fancy. That makes it so much easier to enjoy a good meal without dressing to the Ts. I opted out of getting a drink this time, but they had three Floyd's canned beer which my boyfriend ordered. It was good and they did serve it with a glass which is always appreciated. We both ordered the grouper sandwich (mine with no bun) and then shared the hamachi crudo. The crudo was delicious, but the hibiscus sauce was slightly over powering in my opinion. I really liked the sauce, I just prefer to be able to taste the fish a little bit more. The fish itself was very good. The group was huge! (Yes we both ate the entire thing). That "Florida sauce" they serve with it is a game changer. Might have to order more to go next time. Definitely will be back to Fishmonger! This time with a reservation!

And the drink? The Pomegranate Blueberry was sexy, refreshing, and delicious. I had one before dinner and, yes... I ordered another one after dinner. No regrets! The ambiance is what really sold me.
