We stopped here before a show at TPAC. This is walking distance which is nice. It has an elegant feel despite being in the lobby of the hotel. The staff was polite and efficient. I ordered the salmon entree. The overall dish had wonderful flavor. The salmon itself was overcooked. You can tell by the grill marks that it was going to be. In addition, the risotto was undercooked and had a toothsome texture to it. If we were not in a rush, I would have likely sent this back. Like I said, the flavor was on point, so it just wasn't executed correctly. My husband had the burger and he said it was good. Came here a few times during our stay during the holidays. Let's start with the good things: Service was absolutely phenomenal. 15/10. Every time we went everyone was lovely and fast and wanted to ensure we had a great experience. The lattes were great every morning in different flavors. Perfect way to start your day. On to the bad: The food was a super let down. Everything felt oily or dry, either it was greasy when it should have been crispy or stale when it should have been moist. The only other bummer is there seems to be a misunderstanding or a lack of clarity on how you can use your "tourism/destination fee" credit with the hotel. Each time we went it was handled differently by different people. Some clarity there and consistency would help. But I highly recommend to start off your day with a latte! Ambience is chill. This is located conveniently at the Sheraton Hotel. Went in to grab some cocktails before a show. Was immediately acknowledged and greeted. What a great place to take pictures and vibes. They have limited vegetarian options, but the hostess was great at recommendations and accommodations. The Library is such an interesting experience in the world of Nashville. In this area, almost every bar/restaurant a hotel owns has some sort of theme or upscale "vibe" to try to compete as their own stand-alone restaurant in this party-going area. The Library, however, seems to have skipped all that. You walk in, and it's attached to the hotel lobby and looks like a hotel restaurant that could have been attached to a hotel on the outskirts of any given city. This isn't necessarily a bad thing; cocktails cost less, and it's nowhere near as loud or bustling as most of the other hotel restaurants in the area. PROS: -Large TVs to watch sports (and groups of people were huddled around them to do so), but the bartender let them know the TV volume couldn't be on. This really kept the noise level down, and it was great to have conversations in here. -The vibe was nice and calm; a good comparison to the places we've been throughout the surrounding 5 Nashville blocks. -Parmesan fries were amazing. They were delivered hot and piled with parmesan. Everything that was promised came true. It was served with a ketchup (and not an aioli, like I'm used to), but the fries themselves were killer. CONS: -We came here because I REALLY wanted some good bolognese, and they advertised it as one of their few entrees. What I received was some odd assortment of dry noodles with a light spattering of meat-forward dripping. The "sauce" didn't really coat the noodles, so it was mostly cooked, but unsauced, pasta in a pretty small portion. -Service was slow, and we had to go to the bar to order another drink. This may not be a common occurrence, though, as some of the employees were packing up things and let us know that they're expecting a renovation soon, so they were probably more distracted than usual. -Well drinks are expensive here. Stopped in for a solo dinner (biz trip and I am staying in the Sheraton Grand). Ordered a "hef" to start. My favorite kind of beer. Then followed up with the Nashville Hot Chicken Sliders and Truffled Fries. The Nashville "hot" chicken was flavorful especially the pickles but not that hot (had to add Tabasco) to kick it up. The truffled fries were seasoned well and came with ketchup and mayo served on the side for dipping. Really wanted to like he mayo but there is just something comforting about fries and ketchup. So not a bad dinner for one. Decided that still had room for dessert so ordered a Bonut (Biscuit Donut hybrid) with a cup of coffee. I he Bonut is best described as a deep fried biscuit disguised as a donut hole. Served with berry preserves it is very tasty but heavy. The serving size is theee but I would have been satiated with just one. Eating the other two was just decadent indulgence. Flying in from the west coast it's not really dinner time for me but needed a nice meal with coffee so that I wouldn't fall asleep Still have some work to do. Sitting at the bar and the service was great! Atmosphere is typical hotel but with a Music City feel. Overall a four out of five star experience. So I payed for my breakfast with my room at the Sheraton Grand Nashville and that happened to be brunch which my spouse and i had at the Library. My wife had the two eggs scrambled, bacon, potatoes and wheat toast. All looked really good she said the eggs were nice and fluffy and the bacon crisp and delicious. The potatoes were smashed potatoes and she said were seasoned nicely. I ordered the bacon cheese burger with fries. The burger was a good smash burger juicy and light crisp on the edges. Staff cannot properly make a coffee drink. Espresso shots were pulled and left out to turn bitter while also burning the milk from steaming it for too long which also made it so freaking hot that it burned the crap out of my mouth. We stayed a few nights at the Sheraton Grand and on one morning had the opportunity to have breakfast here... What an amazing breakfast that was! Their prices are fair, but the menu is very unique and interesting, especially for a hotel lobby restaurant and the décor is excellent! E placed our order at the cashier and she was friendly and very helpful, then sat down and about 15 mins later our food appeared, hot, fresh, and TASTY! All of the items we ordered looked picture-perfect and tasted GREAT! Their sausage gravy that went with their sausage biscuits was the best we had on this trip! Their chorizo, egg bagel was incredibly tasty! Nice spiciness from the chorizo, but the whole thing together, with the guac (perhaps just mashed avocado?) as a spread (condiment) on the crown of the bagel really pulled it all together. They also have a barista and feature a full coffee shoppe experience here! I opted for an Americano and it was excellent. Overall, this was a great visit and I'd suggest giving them a try, at least for breakfast when staying here! They're open till really late as a cocktail bar, I'm sure that's amazing too! read more

They were very nice and brought a toasted one to the table but really just inedible at that point (30 min). I dined at The Library, the restaurant inside Sheraton Grand Nashville, on February 19, 2025, expecting a level of service that matches the hotel's upscale reputation and price point. Unfortunately, I experienced some of the worst service I've ever received, making it clear that I was misjudged based on my appearance rather than treated as a valued guest. From the moment I sat down, I waited an unreasonable amount of time for someone to take my order--both food and drinks--despite the restaurant being only about 30% full and at least three staff members working front-of-house. After waiting far too long, I finally had to get up and walk over to a staff member just to place my order. The server ("PM B" on my receipt) offered a half-hearted apology with an attitude, making it obvious that my presence was more of an inconvenience than anything else. Throughout my meal, not once did the server check on me. I received exactly one refill, but only because I had to stop eating and eventually get up to request it myself. No proactive service, no follow-ups--just complete neglect. When it came time to pay, I waited a total of 20 minutes, standing at the bar for nearly 10 minutes just trying to get someone to acknowledge me. Meanwhile, I watched as staff attended to other guests, refilled drinks, and cleaned tables--all while glancing at me and choosing to ignore me. What made this even more frustrating is that I travel frequently and am no stranger to upscale hotels and restaurants. I routinely tip well above 20%--often 30%-500% or more. Despite this, it was clear that assumptions were made about me, and that directly affected the service I received. To top it off, as I was leaving, I noticed the server immediately hovering over my receipt to check the tip amount--which was zero, something I can't recall ever doing before. If there was ever a situation where a tip wasn't deserved, this was it. For an expensive, supposedly upscale restaurant inside a high-end hotel, this kind of service is completely unacceptable. It wasn't just a bad experience--it was a display of poor judgment, lack of professionalism, and a disregard for basic hospitality. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend The Library to anyone expecting even standard service. read more

This place is actually the worst. We were here for a real estate investing seminar. We came for lunch and the restaurant was completely empty. We were second to order and the whole group (like 30 people) got their food before us. Our food was extremely cold and the fries were hard like they had been sitting out half the day. We were staying at the Grand Sheraton so we stopped in for apps and drinks before heading to the Opry. The bartenders are all very cool and friendly. The breakfast was tasty - the potatoes were very good, though we wished there were more other veggies on the menu (the one veggie and egg option was very low on actual vegetables). Cocktails were also good, though pre-mixed so you couldn't change anything (for example, I wanted one more as a mocktail / with less booze but they couldn't adjust it at all). Service was quick and very friendly, and it was convenient - and a good value especially if it's free! We were here in town with our adult children, and wanted to have a drink and some appetizers and light food. Most importantly, we wanted a nice atmosphere where we can hear each other talk and still be in the downtown area. There is no shortage of loud, obnoxious bars in the downtown area SO this was a unique and affordable respite. We had a quality time with great drinks (old fashioned) and the food was outstanding. The fried green tomatoes are the best I've ever had. I highly recommend them. If you're looking for an affordable night with drinks, good food, and a great conversation in the downtown Nashville area, this is the place to go. read more
