They all got inspected. When I told him to do the bodywork on the Yukon, he hesitated. "Is this covered by insurance, Paul?" No. Happened a while ago and I never put in the claim. "Paul: it's going to be a bunch of money. Let me give you an estimate and then we can figure out what you want to do." Just do the work. "Really, Paul: let me get back to you with an estimate before we get started. The bodywork you need is extensive, and even with used parts, it's not going to be inexpensive." Alright, Rory. You're the man. Well: he was right. It was a ton of work and it was going to cost more than the car was worth of Kelly BlueBook. "I would sell it, Paul. They did an inexcusable job on the windows and made me wait a week before I called it off knowing that I didn't want any of this behaviour in the future if I was going to use them....which I won't be. Keep in mind this car is a 15,000 mile, garage kept vehicle of a retired person who does not go to work each day and let it be exposed to the elements. The car was pristine. So I thought this would be a good time to lay down some ceramic coating. Bottom line..and what I'm most upset about is..I was charged 400 dollars for a SPRAY ON ceramic coating. Wait what you say, a SPRAY ON CERAMIC COATING. Four Hundred Bucks to spray something on my car? Washing it would be more labor intensive than spraying anything on the car. I feel that should have been disclosed in earlier discussions and felt taken advantage of as a result. Also, at the last second I realized He didn't return my key and as I went out the door to catch them, they were heading out my driveway with my key. I had to flag them down to get it back. I did not see the ceramic coating go on but everytime I looked out They were talking to each other not working on the car. Overall, I was not impressed by any professionalism and the lack of disclosure for what I was paying for, and lastly making we wait a week to come out and finish the job on the windows. They had a cream puff of a car to easily look like heros on and only scored a zero in my book. I really was hoping to establish a long term relationship with a Detailing Company that had their stuff together. This one didn't on that day.

Thank you…read more My name is Steve , the day you took over from John L, I went to you before you were even open and spoke with Brian about being a lifelong customer of John's, and wanting to keep relations alive. When you opened, i had my son bring his Subaru cross trek and Brian was the one preformed the body work and repainting and we were very satisfied. My other son and I also have a Durango SRT which we show in competitions. I came back a few weeks ago and spoke with Lindsay as Brian was gone, which was to install and adjust a carbon fiber hood and installing the vents in the hood as well as a carbon fiber trunk wing. I provided phone numbers/ Names of who to call for any questions or issues since this isn't a "everyday thing" shops around here do and in total spent 45 min at your shop going over everything so they're are no issues or problems The vehicle was there for over 1 week and during that time multiple attempts to contact the shop were made to make sure things were moving along and and the only call I received was 2 days before I picked it up to say 3M tape needed to be ordered. The shop phone is NOT monitor and there is always a full voicemailbox. I eventually had to drive over to the shop to ask about it's status and on the day we were instructed to pick it up, when we arrived we were told it was NOT completed and Lindsay was misinformed. The day we actually picked it up, my son went over the car and they're were several issues. The trim from under where the trunk wing spoiler was taken off and left lying in the trunk for whatever reason. I was told they were looking to see if they could drill holes to attach the accessory wing which I'm glad they couldn't because that would've not only destroyed my original wing but the $1,000 carbon fiber wing as well and is NOT how its supposed to be installed as I provided documentation on how to properly install it which involved 3M taped and silicone. It was installed using the 3M tape ONLY. The hood is installed very far forward, the vents were not installed correctly by not having the clips under the fiber layer, and make screw mounting hole elongated, if not aligned. On top of that the packing tape from transportation was never removed and now I have to clean off tape residue. Again no one called tech support to confirmed installation and how it should look. The windshield wiper sprayers had to be relocated into the Cowell, which not reinstalled correctly and now water can get in around arm gasket not making it sealed. When asked about this issues, Lindsay stated she had trouble aligning the drain vents in the cowell, I then asked if she contacted the company for questions to which she replied "no" and that someone watched how to install them on YOUTUBE. In my opinion, as a paying customer who's frequent this shop for 40+ years the treatment and service I received is 100% unacceptable. Prior to leaving your shop I expressed my concerns and frustrations to Lindsay to which I recieved excuses and frustration from her which included "we don't do this" to "I didn't charge you alot because we don't normally do this" and my personal favorite which was "well maybe you should have taken it to a custom shop" To which I say both are inexcusable and completely unprofessional since this was a task she took on and if she felt she couldn't do it she should have stated so. I had very high hopes of bragging about your Shop at the shows and how a local business now has custom experience that would open new venues. Before I left, Lindsay did get to a point where she said she would give me our money back for the issues and frustration. I was hoping this could be rectified and just Fixed. But I have given it serious consideration and I unfortunately can not let this slide. I do not feel secure returning this car there again to have issues rectified. The car has been taken elsewhere to be redone by a shop who has experience which is not local and because of this I would like a refund. I really wish things had turned out better in this situation because not only have you lost local business but a returing local and loyal customer of over 40 years. Thank you. . For this consideration, we will not leave any reviews or talk ill of your business as we understand mistakes were made and an attempt to rectify the situation are yet to be made This was what was sent to the business and They never responded.... Tim Hart pretends to be a decent human being. In fact, he is a liar and a cheat…read more Like many liars, he cannot remember what he said before, so I heard many contradictory things from him. When my Honda CRV stopped working, he said it needed a whole new engine and that he had one all lined up. Believing his story, I sold the car to him for well less than 1/10th of its value. After he bought the car it suddenly did not need a new engine and was repaired at no cost by his friends in Red Hook. I kept in touch with him. A few weeks later, he could not remember what problems the car had that need to be repaired. Five months later, he suddenly could remember, and gave me a list of things that had been repaired. One of these items, the brakes, had been inspected and okayed by my own expert mechanic prior to the car's breakdown. Furthermore Mr. Hart claimed that he wanted my car to loan to clients whose cars he is repairing. What did he do that? If he advertised himself as a used car dealer, customers would be more suspicious and harder to swindle; if his purchase offer seems to be a one-time thing, he can cheat you all the better. He resold my car a few months after he bought it from me. Tim Hart is in fact a used car dealer and a dishonest one. Why do people lie in the first place? Lies are not a baroque linguistic decoration; they are a strategy to benefit the liar and disadvantage you. If your car won't go, take it to a reputable repair person who is not trying to buy your car. It is worth the towing fees to avoid being scammed for thousands of dollars. Do not believe what an expert says if he is trying to buy your car at the same time since he has a vested interest in lying to you. There are a handful honest and decent people in the car world and I have found two of them by now. Tim Hart is not an honest and decent human being. He is essentially a crook who should be avoided at all costs. I don't know how he sleeps at night.
