She did a very basic job. She barely did any work on my nails before starting powder and didnt even buff down the powder. No massage either. I was charged $50 for this and I would not pay more than $30 max for something like this. After i expressed concern that $50 is a lot especially for no acrylic nails and just painting my nails .... she started talking in Vietnamese to her coworker ( most likely talking crap lol ). They are incredibly meticulous--she pays attention to every detail, shaping the nails perfectly and keeping them thin and natural-looking. Daisy was the go to person for my wedding nails. When she does my pedicures, she'd smooth out my calluses with such care; my feet always looked and felt amazing afterward. On top of her skill, Daisy's one of the most patient and kind professionals I've met. I now bring my elderly mother with me--she can be a bit particular--and always gentle, letting her try multiple colors and making her feel comfortable throughout the entire visit. First, the tech showed up late, but I wasn't in a rush so it wasn't a problem. As for the actual work, my cuticles could've been cleaned up better on both my hands and my feet. I paid for gel nails thinking they would last longer, but they started chipping after a little over a week. The biggest issue, though, was my eyebrow wax. My eyelid actually got burned during the service, and three weeks later, I still have a mark from it. I tried reaching out to them privately through their contact form to show them the photos and ask for a refund on the wax service only, but they never bothered to reply. It's a bummer because the day started out nice, but between the burn, the mark still being there, the nails not lasting, and being ignored regarding the burn, it left a sour taste.
