We are treated really well and I've gotten a few services here from haircuts to eyebrows. I'm not familiar with the staff names but there is one guy who always does an amazing job with hair and I don't just trust anybody to do my haircuts. I had an appointment for full body waxing at 1 pm. I reached at exactly 1 pm and the lady told me to wait (didn't mention the duration). After 10 minutes of wait, I asked her good long does she want me to wait even though I had an appointment at 1 pm, she said 10 more minutes (total of 20 minutes). Reason given by her was- some other person who shared the same name as me wanted same service as me and the salon people took her instead of me. Absolutely weird coincidence!!!! Plus, the place is highly unclean, unhygienic, overly crowded. I would have never gone there, hadn't this been my first time. And I am never going there. I tried this place out because Mona was still closed on a Sunday morning around 10:15am. I was skeptical to try Rani because the yelp reviews look a little suspicious. There were no elite reviews and there are a ton of 5 star reviews and also quite a few 1 star reviews, with several reviews/reviewers not looking reputable. The establishment was totally fine from my short experience. I did have to wait around 10 minutes for threading, and no one spoke to me before it was my turn, so service could be better. They have zero training in what they do, bare minimum hygiene. I worry their lack of training can harm some people big time! I got my hair cut done by Aruna today. She is really good. The only concern that I had was that they used hair dry brush to dry and set my hair after the cut. I can do the same at home too. Hair dryer brush is easily available and easy to use. Salon effect comes with proper hair dryer blow out. However, when I voiced my concern to them at the end while paying, Aruna did not charge for the setting, apologized, and heard me. This says a lot about her kindness. I loved it. I have curly hair and I'm on a quest to grow it out. I don't look for much when I get a haircut. This location was perfect for me: no frills and straightforward. I called ahead and they told me to wash my hair before coming. Otherwise, if they did it at the salon, that would have been an additional $10. They rinsed my hair when I got in and got right to business - A straight cut to get rid of my dry ends. I'm giving my experience a 5/5 because of the excellent customer service. I felt as if I was getting my hair cut my my grandmother. She was gentle and thorough and made sure not to cut my hair too short. I really enjoyed my experience. I didn't get my hair blown out because that was an additional charge too. One too: if you don't pay in cash, they charge you an additional dollar. Also, the only way to tip is with cash.
