He showed up on time, was very professional and gave our little pet a great groomer service (tooth brushing also)! I was very worried about getting my son's Persian kitty groomed because he is a nervous cat with a heart condition but James put me at ease immediately from the moment he picked up the cat to put him in the carrier for me until the moment he handed him back to me. I was able to watch the grooming through the doors of the mobile wash truck and that was what was most assuring. The cat showed no signs of distress and seemed to be enjoying the whole process. James pointed out that the cat had 2 ingrown nails and he also took care of those. James did an amazon job cleaning around the cat's eyes which is always a challenge. Today I called James again after a while and I have to share with you this heart worming story. I told him that while I was in the hospital the people I left my dogs with attempted to give one of them a haircut and it came out atrocious. I was very upset. He told me to bring my second dig down to see. When I came back to pick up my dogs they both were groomed and looked amazing. He was able to correct the horrible job that was previously done on my dog and he didn't charge me for that either. I was flabbergasted. This guy is amazing! What a heart.? If I could give 0 stars, I would. This was unprofessionalism at its peak. First he sent me a text at 8:12 am to tell me he was on his way on a Saturday. I didn't wake up until around 9ish and apologized. I had no idea he was coming. We never agreed on a time or day for that matter. I just asked if he would be able to come on Saturday or Sunday. We never agreed to anything. He tells me he can come back later. At 9:48 I asked if he can give me an hour's notice before he shows up again. I was working and had to arrange to go during my break. He texts me at 9:50 saying he's 15 minutes away. Thankfully my parents were home, so they were able to give him my dog. He started working on my dog at 10:07. By 10:54 he tells me my dog is done. THAT WASNT EVEN AN HOUR! I have a small 11lb Maltipoo. You mean to tell me, you cleaned his teeth, ears, paws, bathed him and groomed him in ONE HOUR!!!! I was skeptical, but I said ok. Sure enough, as I'm checking my dog, his paws aren't shaved. His ears don't look clean. I doubt he even brushed his teeth, but the haircut was ok. I'm pretty sure he only did the haircut and that was it. So I called him back and told him about my dog's ears and paws. That's my main concern because he's prone to getting ear infections and if his paws aren't shaved, fox tails get stuck and it's a pretty penny at the vet. He came back and started working on his paws. Not to mention, I still have to go back to work, so now I'm on a time crunch. As I'm giving him the dog, he scratches my arm. "Why is my dog scratching me?! Didn't you clip and file his nails?!" He proceeds to tell me he forgot his nail file at home. I check my dog's paws and now I'm upset because they still look the same. His explanation was it's unsafe to clip all the hair off of the dog's paws. We start discussing how it is NOT unsafe and all the other PROFESSIONAL dog groomers do it. He was the first one to give me such bs excuse for his lousy job. He charged me $120 and it was definitely a $50 job to say the least. I am extremely disappointed and will NEVER book him again. Not to mention his van looked extremely dirty and unsanitized. Now I have to monitor my dog and make sure he doesn't have rashes or anything else. To top it off, he saw my review and decided to text me and insult my intelligence by telling me I don't know what I'm talking about and should do more research. The nerve! Take a look at my dog's paws and each one looked different. That was the final product after telling him TWICE, if he can shave his paw pads. His ears, I asked him to please remove the hair and clean it. The final product is shown on the pictures. He texted me asking why I'm posting pictures of clean ears and pads. So I said, "If that's clean to you, that just shows where your grooming standards are." Anyone with a long haired dog can agree. read more

I went to James because I was in the area and there was adequate parking and it was in a good neighborhood. I wasn't sure anyone would be able to help me because I rescued a Persian cat that was neglected and abandoned and I couldn't even feel where his matting stopped. James was extremely gentle, even though he had to really cut through the mats and made my cat feel so comfortable. The only time my cat ever had issues was when he was in the bath, but what cat wouldn't??? I 10000% trust James and am so happy to have found his services. James groomed my puppies 3 times was late first day. Stood me up on my second scheduled appointment. Stated he was doing a dog that was going to make him extremely late. I had to call him several times before he finally responded that he won't be able to make it. I had a scheduled appointment for both of my puppies April 6, 2024 at 11am and 12 pm which I had scheduled on Thursday the 5th which he called to confirm. He texted me at 7am on Saturday morning that if he could push my appointments to 1pm and 1:30pm. I texted him back that I couldn't do that as I had plans with my puppies. He stated that his children's mother wasn't going to get there till 1pm. ( mind you he bright his son the last time he groomed my puppy so that was a red flag) I tried to work with him and he still didn't show up at 1pm and never responded to my text. I tried to support black owed businesses but I wouldn't refer James at all to anyone he doesn't has business sense nor making a appointment doesn't mean anything at all very unprofessional and now I have to find another groomer. On March 3, 2022, I reached out to mobile pet showering services around my area. Showered Pets Mobile Grooming responded to my inquiry and asked if I was available at 2:00pm on that following Sunday. After I confirmed that I was available, they responded and asked if they could reschedule the appointment for 3:30pm, due to another scheduled appointment for that time slot. At 2:27pm today, I received a notification that the "groomer has to cancel your appointment for today due to a scheduling issue", and asked if they could reschedule for an alternate time. Then, a few minutes later, I received a notification from their automated text messaging system that my scheduled grooming appointment at 3:30pm was coming up. My initial appointment was rescheduled due to a scheduling conflict, then my appointment was canceled at the last minute due to another scheduling conflict. I do not recommend this business due to my experience with their last minute cancellation and disorganization of their own scheduling. If you can't rely on a business to meet their scheduling commitment with customers, it's better to trust your business with someone else. read more

Oh man my gray tabby hasn't been showered since the day I rescued her in 2014! I tried to bath her then and even as a kitten she went wild!!!! The groomer showed up in my driveway and handled her with cat which i was very surprised. He wasn't able to get around her neck too well because of the noise but I didn't mind.
