Happened to find this place in the mall food court and so glad I did. The Greek salad was huge and amazing! Tons of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, feta cheese, Greek olives, red onions, peppers and grilled chicken. It was served with pita bread , tzatziki and Greek dressing. Show Mars was always my go to for the best fries and the nicest fish sandwiches. I have to say I tried it a few months ago and I was so disappointed. Today I was in the area and I thought I would give it another try and the fries are old and do not have that fresh taste, and I was not at all happy with the fish sandwich. Staff is very friendly! So I came here super hungry and decided to try the burger and fries (unfortunately I wrote this review a few weeks later and cannot remember which burger I chose). The menu had a lot of great options so much so that I was super indecisive when I got up to the window to order. The young man that was there (can't remember his name) was super patient with me and even working with me to discuss some of the nutritional facts about each item. Since the pandemic struck, I've developed a habit of eating in my car and/or waiting until I get home when I can comfortably take my mask off and not have anxiety about the virus. The food itself was warm because it was just cooked however the fries was extremely salty; so much so that I could not finish it all. The burger itself also wasn't that great- I wanna say that may have been salty as well. There is plenty of places to sit to eat as this resturant is located with a mall. I would probably come back and give this place one more try to see if the food improved. read more

When you think mall food you start by wondering how strong your stomach may be. As I was super reluctant to add tummy problems on my shopping day. But two sales associates made the suggestion to try this place out. Well I can say I was not disappointed at ALL. I ordered the two piece flounder with fries and side salad(no extra charge) instead of coleslaw. Every bite was worth the caloric coma that came afterwards. The customer service was ok I did have to wait long to order but I had to wait a while to receive my food. Big mall with a large variety of stores and restaurants . There is plenty of parking attached to the mall. It is not directly off a interstate, however there is easy access to the mall. As this is my 1st experience with this fast food Mediterranean/Greek cuisine, in a Mall I was very impressed. We had the chicken sandwich and cole slaw and Grilled Chicken and grilled vegetables with rice pilaf ( Chicken Santorini). We were very pleased with the portion, taste and temperature of our meal. This place was busy for a Sunday after church crowed and they got it all right the 1st time. We don't usually have such a great experience with Mall food courts and this was truly an exception! So if you are visiting the South Park Mall in Charlotte and get hungry, I highly recommend the Showmars Food Kiosk at this place. Okay service, okay food. Zero points for styrofoam cups. Polystyrene is slow to degrade, and if disposed of improperly, the foam can leach chemicals into the environment harming water sources. Polystyrene manufacturing is an enormous creator of hazardous waste. Furthermore, polystyrene manufacturing greatly contributes to global warming. read more

Not the gyro I was expecting. There wasn't any lettuce and they don't add gets on it. It was cool they added employee discount (with proof). I've been told there's a gyro supreme that has all that so maybe I'll check it out. read more

Quick sandwiches, burgers and fries in the Southpark mall food court. The other options are three different places offering chinese food (bourbon chicken), pizza and Subway.The "Great Steak & Potato Company" never seems to have anyone there. I had the chicken pita combo, which was two medium sized chicken breasts on a large pita with lettuce and tomato with a small tub of fries. It was good fuel, but nothing special. The cheeseburgers (and double-cheeseburgers) that my colleagues had looked good. All were prepared fresh and quickly. Drink choices were limited with a pepsi fountain. I didn't see a diet non-caffeine option so I ended up with a bottle of water. Would I eat here again? Possibly. The Bistro 7 (also in the food court and reviewed a couple weeks ago) was a healthier and tastier option. read more

It is alright. Ordered a chicken pita sandwich. The pita bread itself was good, wished more of the cucumber sauce, and the chicken was thick and enough - to make your money's worth. I don't "do" malls. BUT this one is a breathtaker. Clean, open, well lit, many many stores and shops. And at no time was I ever accosted by a Kiosk vendor trying to high pressure me into nail products or jewelry, etc. We only skimmed the surface on the second floor due to time constraints. Had we had more time, I might have actually strolled through just to scope out the opportunities. But again, I don't do malls so I suspect this was my first and last visit. read more

There really are limited options in the SouthPark food court. You've got your typically delicious Chick-fil-A, your myriad of Asian inspired fast food, a few sandwich options, and Showmars. I'll agree with Jeff S that this location also doesn't have the full effect of the standard Showmars Restaurant. But no worries. The Good: The order takers are friendly, food comes out lightening fast, there are typically daily specials, they now have whole wheat pitas and they seem fine with substitutions (fruit for fries, hooray!). The Meh: The gyro is fine - it's nothing special but certainly fills the void, the tzatziki could use a kick and the quality of the food suffers just a bit as it's in a mall food court. Overall, if you're a starvin' Marvin in SouthPark mall, Showmars will suffice just fine! read more

I wanted to give this place a nice review because the greek salad I ordered was actually good. But mid way thru I came across a finger nail in my salad and I ended up feeling sick over it and could not finish my dinner. It may have come from them, could of come from another source that they get their food from. All I know is that I will not be eating here again because it just totally turned me off. Rude staff. I simply walked up to the counter and was told to move so the lady old serve another customer first. After the cashier finished serving the customer that cut me off she simply walked away and didn't help the next guests in line. For those that complain about quality of the food are nuts!!! Its all the same at every single showmars, same ingredients from same companies and even same cooks. I do agree you dont get the sit down experience but lets be real its not a sit down location so dont expect that from this one. Also as far as drink choices pointed out by Bruce....pay attention next time I personally had a DIEAT Dr Pepper as my kids went for CAFFEINE FREE sierrea mist and pink lemonade. I love the girls working behind the counter they are all very helpful and even tho they deal with nasty attitudes ( which I witnessed myself) all day they are always curtious and smiling. We go there for lunch its fast, friendly and the food is GREAT!!! If anything is cold its probably because you took too long to get to the counter after you have been buzzed!!!! read more

Showmars is my go-to when I'm at the mall. Always delicious food and better service than any other restaurant at the food court.

Normally I would give this a higher rating because I have never experienced a problem here like I did today. The food was fine, but the girl that gives you the food was very rude. I ordered a baked potato and when it came up she gave me one butter and one sour cream. I gave her the sour cream back and said I needed alot of butter. So she hands me one more, I said again, I need alot of butter, so she hands me one more(now I have 3). I looked at her and said how many more can I have? So she hands me two more(5) and smart's off "if you need anymore, I will have to charge you for them". WTH? Really?? It's a small pat container of butter. I have NEVER been charged for them in any of the Showmars restaurants. And usually they give me so many I have to take some back. She acted like I was taking something personally from her. I can understand with the dressings, if you get more than 2 they charge you. But this is butter for crying out loud. That's like charging for ketchup packs. "Some" people just don't need to be out front in a customer service setting. Maybe the back area is more her speed. read more
