    Mahi tacos
    Diane R.

Went with 5 friends yesterday for lunch. We enjoyed the view. Service was really good!! I chose the blackened mahi tacos, they were good altho I think only grilled. The sauces, diced jalapeño add was a delicious surprise; good altho way too runny to pick up which was sad since the tacos were good; the side of rice was a lukewarm disappointment. We sat near a window which the shade couldn't be lowered and looked like it needed cleaning, yuck.

Server..omg she's terrific..had several very large loud tables and two of us.

Went with friends today. Considering it's on the beach prices are reasonable food very good service excellent. Haven't been here since I moved off the beach I'll have to get back there again!

What a GREAT spot on the beach. Wonderful food and drink, with tables both inside and outside. The ocean view from both is spectacular. Service is fast and friendly. I can't wait to go back!!!

Love Shuckers! This spot on the beach is perfect for any time of day. Always a beautiful view of the beach, good service and great food and drinks for a good price. They have a good happy hour too! My husband always grabs the ahi tuna burger which I love stealing a bite of, it's too good not to! It's a perfect "burger" you can't find anywhere else, and a decent portion. I always love the grouper rueben! The bread is toasted nicely and the grouper is crispy. I just wish it was a little larger portion and that it had some sauerkraut on it. It would be the best rueben around. Check this place out, it's worth the stop.

Tacos with Beyond Burger and rice

The view was great and the food was fresh and filling. It was TERRIFIC to have the Beyond Burger option on the tacos as well as a burger. There were 3 tacos and rice. The rice could have a little more seasoning, but I loved the tacos with the avocado cream, lime juice and cabbage (nice and crunchy vs lettuce that's usually soggy!).

Went for lunch and sat at the outdoor patio. I got the lobster roll which had plenty of lobster meat - w mayo- they don't do it in butter. The roll was good, toasted not soggy. Good coleslaw and pickles. My husband got conch chowder - he liked it, but prefers the creamy type and this was red. He also got fried calamari. No left overs- we ate it all! Our waiter was excellent, he had dimples but I don't know his name. It was very busy. The ambiance is lively, chatty, on the beach. Very nice place to go. Inside had lots of seating too. A bar outside and inside as well.

The gorgeous weather is a nice treat.

First time in today as I recently acquired a second place in Stuart. I had a really decent lunch consisting of a Poke Bowl, taco bowl and a cold Sam Adams. Huge thanks to Candice, whose recommendations were spot on, paired with superb service. The patio dining was the best, although I was disappointed when a chosen few had the help lower the wind screens. I look forward to another visit very soon.

    Eaten shrimp.

Decided to hit up Shuckers for dinner tonight with my family. We ordered jumbo cocktail shrimp for the appetizer and it came with only four. Although the shrimp tasted great, I would highly appreciate the strive for there to be more on the plate so next time i do not have to arm wrestle my dad for the last shrimp.

Given all the hype about this place, we decided to give it a try. Sitting outside, right next to the beach creates a vacation mood. It was a lovely day, too. The staff are friendly and welcoming and polite. They gave us plenty of time to browse the menu. The food is not quite as satisfactory as I expected. Maybe it's what we ordered. The Chicken Salad was alright, as was the Cuban Sandwich. Nothing to rave about. The Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl was not up to par. The rice was inedible. I made a bad choice!

We saw a lot of great reviews for Sauder's Landing…read more First downside is you are required to hand over your driver's license to a security guard to enter the island. He had it for a while, God only knows what data base I'm now part of, but hey, great reviews, let's go. The guard gave my license back as well as a parking permit. Asked about the restaurant, he said drive to the stop sign and turn left. There's a row of shops and a Sauders sign. Did get a tiny bit confusing...none of the storefronts was Sauders. There was a dingy looking alley opening...found them. Walking down this dingy alley (there were three old window a/c units running up high, I mean old, tired, dirty and all three are dripping water into buckets below them on the concrete). We get to a tired residential screen door and that is the entrance. We were greeted right away. Said two for dinner. The hostess asked if we had reservations...we said no. We asked to sit inside. This is not the restaurants fault, but the marina is under construction, there are no docks or boats outside the windows, just rebar and dirt, however the windows and screens were dirty. There are dive bars and old restaurants with charm, Sauders is neither. Inside it just looks very tired and extremely dated You know how Restaurant Impossible or Bar Rescue showes usually start, with John Tapper and Robert Irving having a lot to say. They would have a lot to say at Sauder's. Carolyn, our server, lived up to the reviews that mention her. She was prompt, knew all the specials and did a good job throughout our meal. We ordered some Calemari. The batter was falling off, so if you tried to pick up a piece, you basically had a piece of squid. The marinara sauce was hot and had a good flavor. We had the shrimp linguine Alfredo. There were plenty of shrimp. Tha pasta was spaghetti, not linguine, but cooked properly. Could have had a little more sauce but tasted OK. The meal came with a salad. Everything was fresh, cold and crisp. Carolyn informed us the thousand island was made at the restaurant and it was OK. Summary...the food was ok, the dining room was tired, oh yeah, the rest rooms were behind doors rusting under their paint in that dingy alley and my wife said the one she went into was not nice. I honestly don't know how you could give this a 4 or 5 rating. If I knew what we were going to experience, I'd never give my driver's license to that guard and we would find another of the many seafood places in town. Sorry Sauder's, you need to make an investment in your business.

They do only serve beer and wine, and there tends to be a wait during peak hours. Parking is super easy in their lot. Let's start with one of their main attractions... Scampi! They have the best shrimp "scampi" - this is a dish of just shrimp (no pasta!!), served with an addictive white wine, garlic, lemon sauce and crusty bread for dipping. We always get this appetizer!
