My husband and I have come to this shop plenty of times since they have expanded. The shop is large, clean, and very well organized. They have sooo many single cards and packs to shop from which is a huge plus and the prices are decent. We are also ALWAYS greeted when we walk into the store- not every card store does this so it's appreciated! Unfortunately, the customer service in other aspects has gone down. My husband and I are completely understanding that the store can get busy and overwhelming (we both work in retail) so we try and be as patient as possible but I've literally had employees tell us they are too busy to grab our singles and they need to help other people first. Again, I totally get it but it's all about the tone of your voice in getting the message across. There was one day I came in with my husband and his friends. An employee in a dodger shirt (I think his name is Paul) was already looking into singles for one of our friends so I also waited in the same line hoping to do the same. I told the employee that I'm ok with waiting if he wanted to grab the singles first since I wanted some as well to which he responded with something along the lines of "sorry, I'm only supposed to ring up people and I can't pull singles" as he was literally about to pull singles!!! Like HUH?! So I went to the other cashiers to wait even longer because they were already busy with other customers. And then even though he claimed he was a cashier, he still walked around the counter pulling singles for other people so how come he couldn't help me?? Honestly, it made me really upset and because of his actions, I find it hard to want to come back to Shuffle and Cut when I know there's other card shops out there with elevated customer service. read more

I have been coming here for a few years now. Before they were great: great customer service, chill guys working there, and a great selection of products. Lately, however, they haven't been so great. I have recently retired from TCGs and was looking to sell my cards. I went there a few months ago to sell my bulk collection, and a tall guy with the baratone voice made me feel a little unwelcomed, but he processed my cards anyway. At the time I decided to keep my two Commander decks so me and my fiancé could play together, but recent financial struggles have convinced us both to sell all my cards and so we went back. This most recent visit was the final straw. I walk in and there is quite a lot of customers there. One young worker in a baseball cap and jacket was at one of the registers selling a set of dice to one customer who cut in line ahead of me. After the sale, I walk up and the worker said he already clocked out. I asked him who else I can talk to to sell my two decks, and he said "we don't buy cards at the last half hour." I checked my phone and it was 9:32 pm (they close at 10 pm), so I joked and said "welp. Two minutes too late." With a straight face, he says "Half hour too late. We don't buy cards in the last half hour, unless it's ten cards or less." I can feel my fiancé getting a little upset at how rude he was, so I thanked him and walked away to explored the store. I remembered then that I had a few valuable mythics, including a Great Henge, among the collection, and remembered when he said "...unless it's 10 cards or less." I then began to pull out all the mythics in two decks (about 7 mythics), so I could sell them and take my fiancé out for a nice late-night date, and that same worker came to me and reminded me that they don't buy in the last half hour. I reminded him "you said unless it's 10 cards or less," but he then rambled on about the same rule. He suggested I come on Monday between 12 or 1 pm. The problem is I work now and I want to settle down and start a family with my fiancé, so that's a time I can't make on any day. I walked out of the store with my cards, and will probably never return. I wish these guys luck, but I really miss the friendly and chill guys who worked there years ago. These recent guys are so rude and make the experience too uncomfortable to shop in. read more

I often come in to trade my old cards in for cash as I am trying to downsize my collection. The guys working the counter are always chill and relaxed, and are honest in their buyout prices in my opinion. The store is almost constantly busy, and it's not uncommon they serve customers on a first come first serve basis, so if some dude is buying all 100 singles for his commander deck, you'll need patience. They always acknowledge you though so it's not like they ignore you. I've seen accusations on pack re-sealing, but it seems like BS. I've bought several packs of Pokemon from them and gotten both the Paldea Fates Charizard and the Charmander, Charmeleon, and Charizard from 151. My pulls are pretty decent here. I think people forget MtG and Pokémon are a gamble. read more

Be careful when spending your hard earned time and money here. Cards are over priced. Tonight I stopped by and saw a $24 card priced at $32 plus tax. When I asked the owner if he could price check it on TCG, another employee interrupted and said that they are not allowed to cross check prices with TCG. That was one of many that was over priced. Also, be careful with the "near mint" cards as they do not take centering into consideration. Check for bent cards too as the employee that showed me a card completely bent a "near mint" card when taking it out of the top loader. They offered the guy next to me 70% payout and 80% credit but offered me only 9% credit for my mint cards with near mint centering. Because of the attitude shown tonight, I will not be supporting this business any longer. My advice is to stick to shows where you can buy cards from vendors. They won't try and up-charge you to pay their storefront rent and you won't need to deal with angry cashiers who knew nothing about Pokemon. Not even their names. The owner can be a nice guy. Normally love this place. Usually the BEST customer service of any hobby in the area. Like top notch. Been coming here for years. This last time though...OOOOFF! Very poor service. Guy with glasses and bowl cut, black hair, was just not kind. Very standoffish, almost annoyed with us from beginning to end. Spent about $80 on D&D stuff and it was just painful all the way through interacting with him. Even when my wife said "thank you", his response was a terse "uh huh". Her saying "Have a good night" and his "uh huh" in reply. I'll keep coming here because over the course of years it's been great, but more of that and I'll take my purchases online. read more

It's true what the others say about this place. It's has a decent selection and plenty of fun events to play. My group and I enjoy playing magic events here and it is pretty organized. With that being said, the staff here are not very friendly and are distant when you interact with them. They will help you with what you need but will make you seem like you are inconveniencing them. They are strictly business and I don't if I've ever seen any of the employees smile. I've been to many tabletop game stores and can say most employees are friendly and accommodating. This is not the case at this store but fortunately most people come to play with other hobbyists, not with the staff. You'll have a fun time playing your games here. Turns out I was right, but also found out that they also have a ghost rare of LED7, and went with the opportunity to buy one myself, and bought a booster box from Legendary Duelist. I registered for a pre-release event being run by Bandai and registered on the Bandai website. According to the rules set by Bandai, the first 8 to be elected for a spot must be allowed to play. Now I'm being told by the owner that I won't be allowed to play because they pre-sold the spots and he won't follow the rules Bandai is setting. Bandai even expanded the rules to allow more than 8 people to attend, so both those who registered and those who prepaid him could attend. But he refused that as well. His reasoning was that they have people who play Bandai at the shop and since he already presold them the spots, it wouldn't be fair to them, which is true. But it's especially unfair to those who registered properly. He also said he didn't want to have to refund those who already purchased spots on the side with him, upon looking online you can see they charged 60$ for their own sites preregistration. Of the two times I have been there to play or purchase, the shop has been mostly without players and without a solid selection of singles or games. Additionally, the markup on cards here seems to be well above average for singles, you'd be much better off buying on tcgplayer. read more

They have a variety of games at pretty reasonable prices. They even carry Counter Attack, a super obscure European Soccer (football) board game, which impressed me. Friendly and knowledgeable staff make things run smoothly, and they have a massive variety of accessories, books, painting supplies, minis for Dnd, which makes it my go to for local gaming needs. read more

This has been my go-to shop for a couple years now. I love coming in and checking out the selection. I've been shopping consistently with them since I got back in board game in 2020 when I bought Lost Ruins of Arnak. I don't think I've ever been to a card store where I felt like I was inconveniencing the staff when I'm trying buy product from them. This was one of several shops I've frequented in the area but I won't be coming back anymore. While certainly knowledgeable of trading cards and board games, the staff at the counter are so incredibly impersonal and unenthusiastic it makes every shopping experience here a complete buzzkill. read more

Shuffle & Cut is a great place to come and play Friday Night Magic -- it's one of the few shops with adequate air conditioning and the start times are reasonable for people who have day jobs. The play space is large and spread out so it never feels too stuffy or crowded. The Limited drafting community is super welcoming to new players and happy to teach them. (It's also the best way to learn and play Magic in my opinion.) Prizing is very generous with store credit being usable toward future events and every participant receiving at least a promotional card. The store also has an impressive selection of board games and D&D miniatures. read more

Sadly I won't be returning after spending over $500 on Pokemon cards . I came about 2 weeks ago, and their customer service on Sunday was awfully bad. I wonder if those guys had training at all. I asked to see some of the Pokemon promos they kept in a box and one of the guys told me that he will be "flipping the cards for me." It was so awkward that a customer next to me even laughed that he said that. I mean, are you you showing me the cards or trying to sell me the cards? It's so inefficient as a retail CARD store. I have never been to a card shop where the guy flips the cards for me where I couldn't even see the condition or even touch the card first. I was not there to disorganize your box, or steal, so why so paranoid? Anyways, been there many times and was willing to overpay for great customer service (which I had in the past). Went to Frank and Sons, to sell some of my Magic singles, and the crew working were incredibly friendly and patient, in helping me out. Unlike many of the stalls, their buylist was available at their booth, without me having to ask, which made the entire transaction feel much more transparent than some other experiences with different vendors. First and foremost, OVERPRICED. Some Pokémon cards they were trying to sell for more than twice the actual price. Employee who was working seemed very bothered that I was inquiring about prices on specific cards. Almost like he was at his place of employment and I was a potential paying customer? Lesson learned? A- There is a reason card shops are a dying breed. It is much more convenient to go through TCGPlayer.com or eBay.. anywhere where the prices are fair and even some room for negotiating! POKÉMON FANS BEWARE! They sold me a resealed Alakazam Vbox with resealed vivid voltage packs smh. The box had 2 different types of glue to seal it which is first thing. Next thing is the boosters were extra loose like it was missing a card. Opened gently and saw glue residue, then they had no Holographic. Don't buy here. read more

Service was below average, my first time coming here in six months and when I asked about cards they didnt bother showing me, just checked conditions for themselves and gave me a price. When I ask about a card valued over $300 I'd like to see it outta the case, I won't be shopping here for expensive Pokémon singles. The place itself was great, it has a variety of cards and board games and the products here are just really great 5/5. The value on the cards were also pretty good and asking for a specific card they give you a variety of conditions to chose from. Then there's the service... the first time I came I got a great employee who answered all my questions and gave me the cards I asked for even while the shop was packed with customers. So I decided to come again a few days later and the shop was not packed so i figured I could ask a bit more but the employees this time around weren't rude but made me and my friends feel like an inconvenience and they just seemed like they didn't wanna be there. Had a bad experience. On Saturday 08/08/2020, I ran in and purchased 3 packs of Double Masters MTG. Paid and dropped off one of the packs to my brother. When I go to open my first pack, the seal breaks open away from the seam. I had not yet peeled the center strip at all. Thought it weird. Opened my second pack to have it break in the same spot, away from the seam before I peeled the seam at all. I contact my brother and ask if anything odd happened. He had the same thing happen. So 3/3 packs broke open at the same spot. I get having a few bad pulls but this was beyond reason. read more

My 16 year old has been asking me for 2 days to take him here to sell some of his cards. We went today and let me tell you how rude the guys are that work there. I get they are running a tournament but when asked if the guy could help he said he had stuff to do too. He was very rude. It was like they didn't have the time of day for us. Bad service. In all my visits to Shuffle & Cut, I have never had a bad experience here. The location itself is in a small shopping center shared by other businesses - with that being said, parking for myself was never an issue. While my main purpose of visits were for Yu-Gi-Oh, other TCG's are sold here (Pokemon, Magic), as well as family board games, playmats, dice, deck boxes, sleeves, etc. All staff here are helpful and never give you that rushed feeling - if you're looking for a specific card that you may not see in the case, they'll search for it to either confirm they have it (with the rarity you are seeking), or advise it is not currently available (most meta relevant cards that are staples in YGO decks like Ash Blossoms, Evenly or Imperm will be extremely difficult to find as they are bought as soon as stocked). If you're looking for cards to bolster your deck, I highly recommend checking this place out. You will not be disappointed! read more

This place is a local gem! I've taken my three young Pokemon lovers to buy some individual trading cards here. Each time the guys behind the counter are so helpful, patient and kind to my young boys. It's truly an experience for my kids to go in with their money and purchase their favorite cards. It means a lot to us that Shuffle and Cut gives them the time of day for a couple of bucks from my kids. I have a five year old neighbor kid who was looking for a specific Pokemon card (Octillery for anyone who cares). Called them up and they were super nice and accomodating! Said they had three different ones and they were all less than a dollar! Stopped by and bought them! I dont know much about collecting but it was a very cool shop! Thanks for your help!
