While going in a guy was telling people 1 box per person, however, when it was her turn he wouldn't sell to her- changed his mind and said it was 1 per group. Yet, when another one of our friends went in, he was given a 1 box per person. That's extremely discriminatory when those rules were not implemented with other groups who were in the shop. Ended up going to a different shop who was selling the same box set, and they even allowed her to buy four boxes. If this place had limited inventory, they should have been opened about that or stuck to the same rules instead of discriminating and changing them to only my friend while letting the guys buy.

So as I'm checking out this other guy told me bulk is off limits until it's been price checked, and then told me my total of 58-60 cards was almost 30 bucks. I did the math, he charged me 50 cents per card and just counted the total up, talk about price gauging. Mind you, they had boxes of bulk stacked on top of each other, so who knows what's been checked or not either, watch me get a scolding for trying to master set some things. There's other card shops that actually do free bulk, I'm definitely gonna stick to them. EDIT: So after reading the other reviews left behind, I can definitely say they do lowball for whatever you bring in. I overheard this one couple bring in some cards that sounded rather high in value based on how the responses were for what they would offer and they were gonna give them a low offer, which I think they declined on some of the cards so good for them.

The store has an awesome vibe, with tournaments going on and lots of people laughing, playing, and having a great time. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Draven was amazing! His knowledge of Magic: The Gathering is next level, and he took the time to teach my son the basics without making him feel overwhelmed. As a parent of a total newbie, I really appreciated that. They also have a great selection of cards, Funko Pops, and collectibles at reasonable prices. It's the kind of place where you go in for one thing and leave already planning your next visit!

Long blue tables hold everyone's backpacks and water bottles, and it was nice to see people chatting and getting to know each other when not in game. And yes, they have a restroom! Nothing like Game Stop actually lol My husband is familiar with Warhammar. This is a totally new concept to me though! Warhammar is a hobby that involves creating models to build your army. At least, that is my takeaway from talking to the employee. He was explaining to us how it works. So, you buy the miniature pieces and then you can pain them however you want. Then you add the miniatures together to create your army. Your friends do the same process, and then you "battle" their army. It is pretty cool. I can see how this could get very expensive though lol My husband has an addictive personality, so he is not allowed to get into this hobby LOL Would be too expensive. I don't know who helped me because I was too overwhelmed, but he was so friendly and helpful. Actually everyone working there was pretty respectful and friendly! Price checking on cards was also super quick and he didn't look annoyed, so I was able to ask for the price of a lot of cards. I was looking for a Pokemon card, lowest listed on TCG player was $14 + $2 shipping, and I was quoted $17 for it at the first card shop I stopped at ($1 not a big deal, but I can just buy online). I came here and the first price I was given was $16 which is the same as I would have paid online, but as I asked about more he was able to give me a package price for my cards without me having to ask (because I am not comfortable haggling, even though I think it is part of the card buying culture?) which I very much appreciate. I'm sure I paid less than I would have if I bought these cards online. I might not have bought as many cards as I did though if I'm being honest, but I guess that's part of the business deal. Overall my first super stellar shopping experience with buying single cards at a card store! I would defiantly recommend coming here if you're new to collecting cards! The cards are organized extremely well, and there always seems to be new stuff every time that I go here. I can always rely on this place for variety. In terms of value, they are super transparent with pricing. When pricing cards out, they definitely align with TCGPlayer market values, which is very refreshing compared to other card shops in the area. All of the staff is extremely helpful and attentive even when a tournament is happening. Nick always takes the time to explain pricing and answer any questions that I have. I've always walked away feeling like I got great service. My only slight suggestion is that I wish they sold slabs and had Lorcana tournaments. However, I can't complain when Perfect Rares is always a 5/5 experience.

We ended up buying the Turtle Team Up bundle and several boosters. They let us stick around and sleeve up our new cards after hours (there was a tournament wrapping up) and we got to hang out and observe the staff's shenanigans. Genuinely funny and generous people! Oh yeah, they had some extra goodies from celebrating a birthday and sent us home with some cookies and treats. Totally unplanned and stumbled on this local gem and we are so happy we did. There's been a huge explosion, especially with Gen Z, in rediscovering Asian collectible culture around these figures. It used to be Japan-only, or you'd import them and get overpriced merch on eBay. Bandai has official shops in places like Mitsuwa and Little Tokyo with their own machines, but it's rare to find collector-focused, authentic gacha outside those official stores. Gotcha Planet is really awesome. It's a small location, but packed to the brim with collectibles from popular series like Frieren, Dragon Ball, Chiikawa, Sanrio, JoJo, etc. There's a convenient coin machine to tap your card, get coins, and start pulling. Everything is clean and organized, and although it's usually just one staff member, they've always been nice and helpful. A couple things to know: * No bathroom on site, so plan accordingly. * It's a small space, so it can get cramped if there's a crowd (though I've rarely seen more than one or two other people there at a time). * Pricing is fair considering they're paying rent like everyone else here. * Restocks are fast, so it's worth checking back for the latest stuff. My one real complaint is the selection leans hard into what's popular... cute stuff, current or timeless anime franchises. As someone who collects the weirder side of gacha, like fake miniature food, bugs, dinosaurs, animal figurines etc, I wish they carried more of that. There's a huge market for it, especially in Japan, where you'll find gacha for things like miniature tech, or even a dental office set with tiny chairs and equipment for dioramas. I'd love to see Gacha Planet lean into the weird and niche a bit more, not just the reliable sellers. For now, I go when I need character merch or blind boxes for friends who just want something cute or cool, not the weird stuff I'm after.

It's located in a mixed business plaza, so there's plenty of parking at the side where Gacha Planet is located, but since there's a Dutch Bro's in the same lot, it may get fisted too. Super friendly owners that greeted us, answered all of our questions, helped us when the machine jammed, etc. It was during their grand opening event, so every 10 gachapon tokens ($20) gave you 3 free ones. Awesome! There's a LOT of gacha here that you don't see at every other gacha place (I'm looking at you Bandai grrr), and this isn't just series, but also the uniqueness of the toys. Lots of Sanrio, way more Chiikawa than what I've seen before, but also Calico Critters (Sylvanian Families), various anime (Haikyuu, Card Captors, etc.), a super highly defined printed Death Note mini manga volume, a little light up TV that glows a still shot on the screen when you put the VHS in, automatic takoyaki, and so many little miniatures (great accessories for my bearded dragon!). Aside from the gachapon machines, there's various blind boxes and other merch available for purchase including a shelf of some anime figures, plushies (they had Pickles the Frog!), Chiikawa, some Molcar (got some of these), more Sanrio goods, Fuggler blind boxes, Miffy. and so much more. The shop itself is super cute with lots of attention to detail (the little catfish above the door), the Patrick Star light switch, the fuzzy mirror, etc. They also play lots of Kpop and some bangers for those who know ball (Hachiware's song!). There's also an ongoing social media bonus if you follow them too! You get a small cute blind bag plush keychain. There's a recycle bin for your opened gachapon, and a small table to display your goods as well. I'm following them on social media as they update their stock and I will definitely be back for more!

I was looking to trade a PSA 10 Charizard X from Inferno X toward a sealed case of product. Do We Collectibles offered only 70% TRADE Value. I understand every shop has different margins, but I found the offer to be well below what other local shops are willing to offer, let alone trade. I'd recommend shopping around before making a deal here.
