When they first opened and I saw the name,I knew I had to check them out and as soon as I walked in and saw their goods-I was hooked. This shop is located in the Nut Tree shopping center,kind of by the Merry-Go-Round. So much parking available-though the lot does get busy on weekends as anyone who goes to Nut Tree knows. So this shop is a locally owned business-they only have one location and supporting them is truly the definition of supporting local small business. They make homemade candy. It's chocolate and caramel heaven. They have so much good stuff-chocolate pretzels,chocolate-dipped red vines,chocolate peanut butter cups,caramel apples,chocolate-covered caramel-dipped marshmallows,white chocolate,dark chocolate-it's overwhelming. I make it a point to stop here almost every time I drive through Vacaville to pick up a little something-in fact I'm going to Giants game tonight,I'm most likely going to make a quick stop before the game. It's that good of a shop-they get priority status whenever passing through their town. I feel the prices are still pretty decent as well.They also have a pretty good rewards program one can sign up for in their shop. We went inside and sure enough, they asked if we would like hot chocolate. I was with my family so there were about 14 of us and 6 of us wanted hot chocolate. Since we were in there, my family started to browse... That's when I knew they got us. Lol. We ended up leaving with 1 Carmel apple, and more than 7 chocolate treats, from chocolate gummy bears, chocolate marshmallows, chocolate pretzels, chocolate Carmel squares, salted Carmel and more.. so much stuff that I couldn't even count. The staff was very friendly and helped out everyone with patience and got hot chocolate for everyone too. At least I think it's Taiwanese. It was described as frozen milk shaved like shaved ice. It's very fluffy and not chunky like regularly snow cones you get at fairs and festivals. This shaved ices don't compare. I loved the texture of the shaved ice in our Mango Bingsoo(Regular). The shaved ice was covered with mangos and dressed with sweetened condensed milk. I wish there was a larger portion of the condensed milk to pour on top of the plain ice when you run out of mangos. The proportions mango to shaved ice was pretty spot on, though you could always use another layer or two of mangos. I just can't get enough mangos. Price- This was pretty pricy and I would say it's a special occasion type of place. In addition i Size- The regular was the perfect size to share with a friend. For two of us the large would have been too much. Restrooms- They have one unisex bathroom in back. Thankfully you don't need a code to go in. It was clean and well supplied.
