We recently had our entire roof replaced along with installing additional vents. Given the scope of the project, I wasn't sure what to expect, but the entire process went about as smoothly as possible, with limited disruption (you can't escape the noise). From the very start, beginning with a a very nice conversation with Tiffany understanding their business approach, to a fair and competitive bid, I immediately felt confident that we chose the right people for the job. And we were right...every step of the way we were kept in the loop as to what was going to happen next...there were no surprises, even additional costs for materials were discussed and in line with what we were told we might be facing. We had a new roof and solar done by Tiffany and her team last fall. She was honest and upfront about everything and worked with us to get the Federal tax rebates before they expired, even taking a financial hit to get it done. We love our system so much! We've had two power outages and didn't even know it because our battery backup ran flawlessly. Truly excellent work! Recently had the privilege of Shylee Construction and Roofing re-roof three structures on our property and Tiffany and her team were a dream to work with from the initial estimate to the finished product we could not recommend more. This review is specifically for the honesty and integrity of this company. I made contact with the owner Tiffany after a terrible experience with our prior Roofer. I reached out because I was told by said old Roofer that I needed to have the roof inspected every year and after he disappeared into the night I contacted her for an inspection. She told me that it was a complete waste of money and to save my money because I only needed an inspection when there was a problem with the roof. This really blew me away because most people try to trap people into spending money and instead she was encouraging me to save my money. When another issue appeared with our roof I contacted her again. She sent out someone to see what the trouble was and came back to me with some bad news on what it would take to do the job properly which required ripping up the old roof and laying down a new one as apparently our old Roofer didn't give us a new roof but instead just laid shingles over the old. Unfortunately it was incredibly costly to do this and Tiffany told me that though this would be the process to get everything right, because we are not having significant issues right now it's something that we could wait on. Again, blown away by her ethics and honesty and not trying to squeeze every dollar out of her customers. Tiffany was incredible - honest, responsive, and competitively priced. I had been told I needed to replace my entire tile roof, which would've been extremely expensive and stressful. Tiffany came to inspect it for free and confirmed that a full replacement wasn't necessary - just a few tiles needed to be replaced to prevent leaks. She even got me a discount on the tiles, had her team complete the work in a single day, and they power-washed the entire roof as well! It's rained multiple times since and I've had zero leaks! I'm so grateful for her honesty and care. I've already recommended her to my neighbor, and she saved him from an unnecessary roof replacement too. I didn't hire Shylee to do my roof, but I really wish I had. I was having a terrible time with my roofer and reached out on a local moms group to ask if what I was experiencing was normal or not. I had been struggling with a roof leak due to the California increase of rain this past year. To protect my home I had to resort to using a tarp when the rains were coming. I knew that Shylee Roofing  provided quality work, are reliable and respond in a timely manner.   I have known about Shylee Roofing and construction for the past year.  I was referred to Shylee Roofing when I was in the market for Solar panels. I had my solar panels installed a year ago by a division of Shylee Roofing.  My solar panels have saved me a goid chunk of money and I was very pleased with the working relationship that I developed with the owner Tiffany Swisa of Shylee Roofing. If you're looking for a dependable, solid roofer who "get the job done right" as a fundamental principle, I would highly recommend giving them a shout. We started a large project on our home, adding a AC unit to the side of the house and a new roof. I cannot end begin to articulate the flawless execution on both of these projects. They went over and beyond to accommodate my lack of knowledge, endless questions, most of all they worked tirelessly to ensure that I understood the end to end of both projects in their entirety. And believe me, if someone had to quick me on ac units, and roofing, I'd pass with flying colors. As far as the roofing project, I did my research and obtained 3 quotes, Tiffany explained how they keep their pricing so competitive by not having sales people, which totally makes sense - I appreciate the hands on approach versus my dollars paying a salesman who has zero clue about the project. (I literally cannot say enough about these folks). They pulled our permits quickly (which is near to damn impossible amidst this covid crisis), showed up on time and at the end of each day cleaned up the space leaving the job site clean and safe until they returned the following day. Tiffany is the owner and license holder, Dave managed the project for us. He was at the job everyday and kept in close contact with me regarding the progress and any questions I had with the job he was right there with a quick response. Communication was key for me and these guys delivered on what they promised! I needed my roof redone (leaks), but I have solar and I had a hard time finding a company that would remove/reinstall my solar equipment. Luckily I found Shylee Construction & Roofing and Tiffany handled it all. Tiffany coordinated between the electrical team and the roofing team to have the solar removed, the roof done, then the solar reinstalled. She was readily available to answer questions, and proactively provided updates throughout the project. The friendly team came on time each morning, worked a solid day, and cleaned up each evening. Materials were on hand, so no delays waiting for deliveries. The city inspections were uneventful; never any corrections required. They even fixed the fascia boards that were installed incorrectly by the original builder. When the roof was done, the solar was reinstalled and fired up without a hitch. The end result looks great and the final cost matched the estimate. Conveniently, there was heavy rain a week after the job completed, and all my leaks were gone. The best decision I recently made was to use Shylee Construction and Roofing to replace my roof.
