This place deserves more than 5 stars but unfortunately Yelp only allows 5. I don't think theres been a single thing that wasn't delicious. They have a wide variety of options that all sound delicious. Protein and spice are items with wiggle room and options for your choosing. I loved the spring rolls, yellow curry, and pad Thai. I had lunch at Siam on a Friday. I came in at 1:45. The woman who greeted me was the owner I believe. She asked if I was there for the buffet because it would be ending at 2. I said no, I can order from the menu. She and the gentleman server just kind of looked at me so I asked, "Do I seat myself?" It was my first visit so I didn't know. The gentleman said "Yes, sit wherever you'd like." I sat down at a table for 2. The interior is a bit small but as it was later in the afternoon there were plenty of seating options. Thai music videos were playing on a television and there were Thai photos and artwork on the walls. The gentleman who greeted me took my drink and appetizer order. When he brought my iced tea, he took my entree order. I have had Pad Thai two other places and got 5/10 heat rating both times. Both were spicy, but not overly so. When I got my spring rolls, I was excited to try them. I dipped them in the peanut sauce and took a bite. They were good but something didn't taste quite right. I finished one roll and started on a second one, trying to figure out why they tasted a little off to me. After a couple bites, a piece of cilantro came out of the roll onto my plate. That explained it. I'm one of those people for whom cilantro tastes bad/soapy. So the rolls are probably good, as long as you like cilantro! When my pork Pad Thai came out, it looked amazing! It tasted really good, too--I ate the entire plate full! It was much spicier/hotter than the two I had tried at other restaurants, but I liked it spicy. The only drawback was that I finished my glass of iced tea pretty quickly, given the spiciness, and did not get a refill until about ten minutes later. The gentleman who served me was taking down the buffet and wiping down tables, which is fine, but he didn't come check on the two tables that were still in the restaurant. The woman came in from the front entry area after about ten minutes and refilled my glass with water. I drank it, and was not offered another refill until a different server came with my check, another ten-fifteen minutes later. Over all, the Pad Thai was excellent, the spring rolls were probably good for cilantro people, but I do wish I'd been able to get more to drink. read more

Siam Cuisine used to be the top spot in the Omaha area to get Thai Cuisine; they were strong in the cultural flavors that I expect and enjoy from Thai food but now it seems that they have changed ownership and have americanized their entire menu. Before a spice level 2 on a meal was reasonably warm but now it is almost sickly sweet with no actual flavor. Their pho is bland; their Pad Thai is too sweat with not enough unique flavor and honestly it is just severely disappointing compared to what I remember. The service is quick and courteous and the ambiance inside is peaceful but overall this was just a disappointment to return to this restaurant after so many years. read more

Food and service is top notch. This husband and wife run hidden gem behind Bellevue Medical Center is my favorite go-to for Thai. They have a buffet Weds-Friday during lunch and it truly is the best way to experience all of their offerings. If you don't see what you want, she will make some and put it on the buffet! Their crab Rangoon and fried spring rolls are some of the lightest, crunchiest ones I have put in my mouth, and the pad Thai is always on point and not Americanized like many places. But my favorite: red curry or Basil Chicken is the best! You can TASTE AUTHENTICITY and love. Above the food, you have cute gifts you can purchase, but the service is too notch. He is so extremely nice, working the front and taking care of customers while she works the kitchen. You have got to go try this place. Decor isn't fancy. You are paying for the food here! Seen this place for years, but had not stopped in until recommended recently by a friend and very glad I did. Already gone twice this week for lunch. You can order off the menu or simply get the buffet (get the buffet) for $8.00 (tax included) during lunch. Buffet line is small, but tasty. 13 items on the line. White and fried rice, 3 different soups which were all good, Pad Thai w Chicken, Basil Chicken, Chicken Wings, Pepper Steak, a veggie dish, another delicious chicken dish that I don't know the name of and Crab Rangoon's and Spring Rolls as well as one more that I can't remember. Not many staff, but they have hustled the last two times I have been there. Not a large dining room and it appears like a place out of the 70's with all the Thailand Royalty paraphernalia. Jar and John are the new owners as of this year. I appreciate their willingness to make suggestions for what I would like to see. I love Jar's tweaks that she does to the menu. I usually eat here once or twice a week for the buffet. This is good home cooking and Jar is Thai herself. They offer two types of rice, egg rolls, chicken wings, and many main dishes. This is the worst Thai food restaurant I have eaten at ever. We ordered the pad thai, chicken spring rolls, satay (which was supposed to come with a cucumber salad), and thai iced tea. Everything was sickly sweet and almost artificial tasting. I'm not sure if they make their own sauces or if it came out of a jar or packet. The cucumber salad had one sliver of cucumber in it with a few red onions and a lot of liquid. The food was also very sad to look at. It is possible there are other things on the menu that are good, but we will not be back. read more

I absolutely love their pork curry! Overall, this is pretty solid go-to local place to eat. Nothing fancy, but the food is great and the owners are fantastic. The Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao are incredible. In fact, come to think about it... I've never left here feeling unsatisfied. My wife made the suggestion that we go back to this restaurant and eat at there buffet. My lovely wife is not an adventurous eater but was first convinced by a friend to eat here. It has the smallest buffet I think I've been to. We show up and the buffet is only Wednesday through Saturday, it was Tuesday. The buffet food had been good, so we stayed and ate. We had fried dumplings, fresh vegetables with chicken spring rolls, my wife had sweet and sour chicken and I had wonton soup. Of all the food, the spring rolls are by far my favorite. They are like eating a bite size salad with peanut sauce. My wonton soup, was pretty good. There was a lot of it and everything in it tasted fresh. My wife was happy because it had broccoli, I eat it but there is little joy in my soul as I eat, every little green tree. One last thing, the owner, aka husband/waitress, ran his tail off. His wife was shooting food out of the back and he was running all over. He ran food outside for pickups, got order to go inside, got order to go for food delivery and waited on us. I can't believe I haven't been here sooner! I loooove Thai food, but it can be expensive. You can't beat an all-you-can-eat buffet for $8. The food was really good! The Tom Yum soup, crispy spring rolls, and crab rangoons were some of the best I've had. Some of the dishes were just ok (the pad Thai being one of them, and the sesame chicken that was a little tough) and some dishes were not very hot, but most barely sat on the buffet long enough to cool down. The only issue was that during the lunch rush, there was only one cook and one poor waitress running from the register to the buffet to the tables, and back again. We felt so bad for her! She was very apologetic for the wait and was constantly reassuring us that the cook was making more food. She did bring more dishes out every few minutes, but not near enough for that many customers. Came back after I heard there's new owners. Owner runs register and wife cooks. Ordered Yamma Namtuk for take-out. Asked for it to be normal spicy, turned out not spicy at all. It was still tasty though. For $10.50 the portions within the order are half rice, quarter meat and quarter salad, despite the dish itself being a salad already. For 50 cents more, I could get the same menu item from the Thai food truck with twice the food and way spicier. I will return to try out the other traditional food you can't find else where. read more

I visited this place while TDY in Omaha, NE. It is a quint place. The owners are friendly and the food comes out fast. I ordered the penang chicken spice level 8. It was not thai spicy like I wanted. It was also a little salty, but still good. It did not come out with the salad that goes with it, but that was fine. The service made up for it. They were not very busy, probably because of the time I went around 430 pm. I love the decor and hate I did not take pictures. I will be foing back and I will take some then. They sale thai shirts and other little trinkets. As I was leaving several people started coming in. I want to give them another try. I really enjoyed the people and service. read more

It quickly adds up if you get fresh rolls($10) with an entree. The Fresh rolls look like they could have used some fresher veggies and more chicken. The egg rolls were delicious, cheaper app for about 3 of them. I heard they have a lunch buffet that is way more cost effective! I haven't had the chance to try.
