Creamy Crab Curry (Soft Shell Crab)-W/ Roti

Came back again last week to celebrate another birthday with a different group of friends, and the food was still phenomenal! Everyone in our group loved it, and I'm happy to say the quality was just as good as our first visit. It's always nice to see a restaurant stay consistent. The service was much better this time as well, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The only downside was the BYOB policy. They charge $20 per bottle, which felt a bit steep, especially since some of the bottles we had cost less than the corkage fee itself. We ended up not bring the bottles. Overall, we still had a great experience. The delicious food and improved service definitely make this a place I'll continue coming back to.

We had a wonderful early dinner after a long day of walking and exploring. The staffs are friendly and welcoming. Pad Kee Mao with vegetables has good amount of vegetables to noodle ratio; love the spiciness as well. Coconut shrimp dish includes pad Thai and rice that's also very delicious with huge tiger shrimps. Both dishes are generous portions and full of flavors. Service is fast. Highly recommended

The interior design of this place is sooo cute I absolutely loved the vibes. I ordered a thai tea which was good although a little bit too much on the creamy side for my taste. We ordered the salmon carpaccio, tom kha, pad thai, pad kee mao, and mango sticky rice. The salmon carpaccio was very good--tangy, light, and fresh. The pad thai and pad kee mao were alright in my opinion--lacked some flavor. The mango sticky rice was good as well.

Came here for lunch and it was really good! The restaurant decorations are pretty! Service was a bit slow but it seems like they wanted us to enjoy our meals and not bother us. Pork Jowl - This was the best dish of the meal! The pork had a smoky flavor and a good ratio of fat on it. Very tender! I would eat this with papaya salad as a meal. Crying tiger - this was good but wasn't a fan of so much rosemary on top since it is not typically a Thai flavor. It also needed more acidity to the meat. Papaya salad- Tasted good but needed a bit more acidity to it as well. Got the mild and it was a bit more spicy than I personally prefer, but mixed with the meal it balanced out. Pork and shrimp cakes - couldn't really taste the shrimp in this and the filling could have been more full. It was still good but not amazing. Overall I would try this again and some other dishes!

I was in the area and needed to burn some time and grab a bite. I stumbled across this gem of a restaurant. The inside of this place is so beautiful and welcoming. The food and the service was great! And the freshly made hibiscus tea was AMAZING! I will definitely be back!

Ordered pad thai, pad see ew, papaya salad, green curry, mango sticky rice for delivery. Our group did not enjoy the pad thai, as it lacked flavor. The pad see ew was OK, a bit on the oily side. We ordered it with beef and the pieces of meat were pretty small. The green curry might have been the favorite. I usually love papaya salad, and while I loved the crunch this one had, it was not spicy at all. I'm used to papaya salad usually having a bit of a kick but this one didn't have any flavor. Mango sticky rice was solid, definitely recommend ordering more than one if you are sharing with more than one other person as it's a smaller portion. Overall, a decent meal but didn't knock my socks off. I've definitely had more flavorful thai food.

Thai food made right! I did a quick search to find a bite before going to the fields museum and came across Siam Thai, 100% within walking distance and honestly a really nice walk! I wasn't sure how busy they might be so I made reservations and was seated upon arrival, they were certainly busy but I feel walk in could have been possible for a weekend dinner time. Waters came out right away and greeted with a smile, our server was very knowledgeable about their menu and when asked for recommendations she was prepared! Very helpful for new comers! We ordered the lychee martini and an old fashioned and we were both pleased with our drinks, strong enough but well balanced For starters, we were suggested to try the Siam Platter so we could try out their different appetizers, hands down the money bag dumplings were the best! And the sweet vinegar sauce was a MUST! For my main entree I went with the Pad Kra Pao, keep in mind this does have some kick to it but it was so full of flavor! Overall great experience and will return!

The restaurant was dimly lit with little table lamps. Very romantic I would say. There were a lot of families (it was Mother's Day when we went). The had a high chair for my toddler. The portion sizes were really large and the presentation of the dishes were really beautiful. We ate with five adults and a toddler and were able to share everything. I loved the coconut shrimp the most! The Thai iced tea was also really good. Mango sticky rice was good but mango didn't taste like it was a good mango. Siam dessert set is nice to share and if you like coconut.

Greeted upon entry. Placed to go over phone. Pad Thai was good but dry. I've never had one dry, I prefer wet or with a little sauce. Pineapple fried rice was amazing. Ambiance inside is pretty for photos. Located on Michigan Ave near other restaurants and businesses. Street parking available. Recommended

Great food! It's busy on a weekend evening so I'd recommend a reservation, for good reason. Favorite was the red curry- delicious and better than the still good green curry. Pad kee Mao was also tasty. No complaints from me.

Elevated Thai food - everything was very delicious! My favorites were the moneybag dumplings, spicy ribeye basil, and the red curry. Flavors all complimented each other very well and ingredients felt fresh. We ended with mango sticky rice and lychee martinis. Definitely a great place for date night or girls night out. All waiters were very sweet and we did not have to wait very long to get our food.

Overall, this is the most mid-Thai food that I've had in amazing. It looks amazing, but it missing the complex refreshing flavors I expect from Thai food. The Thai tea is probably the worst I've ever had - tasted like a whey protein shake. The food looks better than it tastes. The overall ambience is really nice and attractive though. Service rushed us to order, but overall all fairly good.

I recommend if you're looking for a date night or cute place for Thai. The food was good, I got pad see ew, and it was flavorful but could've had more veggies and maybe more sauce. The service was good, and I felt taken care of. Not my favorite Thai place in Chicago, but definitely worth a visit!

Indeed, this spot did not let me down! It is a small Thai restaurant in West Loop, with a large menu featuring monthly specials and quite a few dishes I rarely find in other Thai restaurants in U.S. For food, we ordered the following: 1. Khao Ka Moo: a stewed pork hock platter served with rice, pickled mustard greens, shitake mushrooms, sauce (similar to soy-sauce) and egg (which I opted out). It was my first time to have pork hock in a Thai restaurant. The meat was juicy and the skin was mouth-melting. Highly recommended. 2. JJ Tiger Cry: Basically grilled ribeye served with Thai style sides. The ribeye was cooked at ~medium well. I wish it could be a fattier cut and cooked for a shorter time, but my friend thought the temp. was perfect for her. It was served with a Thai sauce and cabbage+carrot slaw. 3. Green Curry Chicken: my sister's entree. The curry tasted refreshing and flavorful. It was also great that the dish came with both rice noodles and jasmine rice, so you can try both of them -- indeed, the rice noodles, after soaking it in the green curry, tasted heavenly! 4. Yum Hed. Grilled mushroom salad. There were shitake and king oyster mushroom. Served over a bed of fresh lettuce and a kind of spciy, sour sauce. Great as a side. 5. Guay Tiew Tom Tum Koong: Shrimp and rice noodles served in a generous bowl of Tom Yum Soup. It also had much veg. Unfortunately, I am allergic to some seafood so for safety I did not try this dish. Overall, the dishes are of medium sizes, but definitely enough for us. Service was friendly and quick. I may try more dishes the next time I visit Chicago.

The food was completely underwhelming, and when we shared our concerns with the staff, nothing was done to address them. The service was equally disappointing. Our server spent much of the time sitting on her phone while we waited for basic service like water refills, being asked about drinks, and receiving the drinks we ordered. We repeatedly had to get up and find someone just to receive attention. As for the food, the gyoza was bland and tasted like unseasoned pork. The lemongrass beef stew curry, which was highly recommended, arrived cold, had an odd texture, and lacked any real flavor. Most shocking of all were the drunken noodles. I've ordered them countless times over the years and always considered them among the best in Chicago. This time, I couldn't get past a single bite. Every dish was left unfinished. We didn't finish a single plate and didn't take any leftovers home--something that never happens for us. Between the poor service and incredibly disappointing food, this was an awful dining experience from start to finish. Unfortunately, after being a longtime customer, I won't be returning.

Cuisine: 4 stars - We ordered Basil Rice, to share. The flavor was different than what I have been served elsewhere. More sour than sweet. I think a better balance between sour and sweet would be better. Also, elsewhere, the rice and ground chicken are served tossed together. Here, the rice and chicken arrive on separate plates. It's difficult to mix sticky rice and chicken on a flat place. Nevertheless, the meal was completely acceptable; just a bit different. Service: 4 stars - The server was polite and friendly.
