For $15, this is one of the best lunch deals in Victoria. The services was fast, friendly and perfect And their table water is FILTERED!!!!! This was a pleasant and welcome surprise for myself as I only drink water. Highly recommend this hidden gem on Fort!!

I spent $70+ on an Uber eats food order and specifically indicated on the App I needed utensils. No utensils were provided like my family should be eating with their hands. I am visiting Victoria on a vacation and this was our last night. The delivery was great, but this restaurant was not. Worse eating experience of the trip. I hope this place goes out of business. PS, it is not just about the utensils, the food is horrible. Overall a bad place to eat. Hopefully the health department shuts them down too.

Growing up in VN, I always heard how good Thai food is. I've been to a lot of Thai restaurants in NOLA, and though they are all good, they are not extremely fantastic like the rumors. This is the first time that I had Thai food that blew my mind. It lives up to the hype. It's so good that even all my kids ate all their food. They can't remember what Thai food is since we dont eat Thai food very often. But now they believe Thai food is so good. I will be craving this type of Thai food when I'm back in New Orleans. The salt and pepper pork is fantastic. The pad Talay and Pad Kee Mao Woon Sen are amazing, too. Their Thai coffee is gigantic. Too bad they didn't have Mango sticky rice. There was a restaurant downtown New Orleans that had best mango sticky rice before Katrina. That restaurant was out of business due to Katrina. So I was excited to try the mango sticky rice here. But they don't have it. So we ordered the deep fried banana with ice cream. It's good too.

Pad Thai, Siam House Special Fried Rice, Thai iced tea

Went for dinner on a rainy cold Monday, and left SO HAPPY. The ambiance is charming, nothing flashy but still - quaint and clean. The food though...incredible. I had the Siam special fried rice and my friend had the chicken pad Thai. Both were fantastic. My rice had a charred wok seared taste that was amazing, and my friend's pad Thai was the best I've probably ever tasted. Plus the staff were super friendly and service was perfect. What a great spot!! Highly recommend.

We were planning to check out The Little Jumbo for dinner Friday evening but when we went in, it was an hour and a half wait. No chance we were waiting that long so we backtracked a few steps and hit up Siam Thai Restaurant instead. We got in around 7:00pm and didn't have any trouble grabbing a seat. But get there early because it got packed as the night carried on. Service is hectic as only two waitresses were serving the whole restaurant. Food came out slow but it was worth the wait. They have lunch specials (10 options, all at $8.95). Good deal! The regular menu has the usual suspects: appetizers, salads, soups, chef specials, chicken/beef/pork, fried rice & noodles, seafood and vegetarian. - 2x Thai iced tea ($3.50) - more stronger and less sweet than normal. We liked it! - 4x Chang beer ($5.95) - Satay chicken (#1) ($8.95) - grilled chicken skewers with peanut sauce. Chicken was moist. I liked the side of cucumber and red onion. B thought the peanut sauce was a tad thick. - Steamed rice (#51) ($6.00 large) - Green curry (S3) ($14.95) - spicy green curry, coconut milk, bamboo shoot, bell pepper and basil. We asked for everything to be medium but this had a good spice level. We went with beef which was a tad tough. Bamboo shoots were massive. - Siam special fried rice ($13.95) - fried rice with prawn, chicken, egg, pineapple, vegetables and yellow curry. Yellow curry gave it a nice kick. Think this was my favourite dish. Delicious. - Noodle delight (#24) ($12.95) - stir-fried noodles, bean sprouts, green onion topped with peanut sauce. Similar to pad thai but they use a different noodle and I preferred the peanut sauce over the usual overly sweet tamarind sauce. Nice change. - Goong preaw wann (#38) ($18.95) - sweet and sour prawns with pineapple and vegetables. This reminded me of sweet and sour pork but Thai style. Thought this was overpriced for what it was. Skip it. Good Thai food right in the downtown core.

Pad Thai, w/ tofu, no egg

Food was excellent! Flavors were delish. Veggies were fresh. Ordered mild, but definitely had spice. Pad Kee Mao, yellow curry, Pad Thai and Ginger beef were all great. Servings were quite large for togo.

Great thai food. Peanut sauce is amazing! Not sweet red sauce used. Yummy! Staff is patient and welcoming.

At one point we were using the crab scissors wrong and he came to our table and said "let me show you how to use those properly, ripping them from my husband's hands." So rude, there were many other ways he could have approached that. The gentleman that served us was not friendly, he had a put off attitude we were even there. I also had a gift card for $200 that he was not pleased to take off our bill,. He had to enter a code and it took him, not kidding, 5x to do. He was very frustrated but I wasn't not going to not use it. This place is NOT worth the $360 bill (not including tip). Skip this place and go to Steamship bar and Grill instead!

We came here on a Wednesday night and it was mostly empty. However, most of the seats next to the window facing the harbor were taken. They sat us on the upper layer of the restaurant, so we could still see the harbor somehow. It was beautiful with night lights. We ordered 1. West coast steamer pot for starter $25, 2. Lobster and Pacific prawn papardeli $41, 3. Chanterelle mushroom risotto $32, and 4. AAA 6oz tenderloin $55 (all prices in CAD). The steamer pot came first.. and while it's good, the seafood wasn't particular fresh or impressive, and the sauce was too savory/salty for me. After waiting for maybe 30 minutes for food, they finally came. My lobster and prawn pasta was good but again, the sauce was a bit too much. The amount of seafood given was also quite sad. The mushroom risotto wasn't cooked al dented, though the taste was fine and wasn't too salty like other dishes. The tenderloin was good, but I enjoyed the side veggies that came with it and the sweet sauce better than the steak itself. Overall it was just an alright and pricy dinner, so I think it's only worth it if you can get the seats next the window as the view was quite nice. This was the most expensive meal from our trip but I didn't think it was worth.

I wouldn't recommend coming here if you need a "quick bite" or have fussy kids who will become impatient. But, if you're ok to sit and enjoy a bit you will find the service fine. As a vegetarian, I was delighted that there were ample options for me to choose from without modifications necessary. This didn't stop me from ordering the delicious cavatelli with pesto and goat cheese for two nights in a row, but I loved having options! While dining with a larger group, the person who had the chicken and the person who had the short rib, both agreed their dishes were possibly the best preparation they'd ever had. The one complaint was that some in our group felt their dish was over salted. After enjoying the pastries at duo earlier in the day, I knew dessert was going to be worth it. We ordered the earl grey bar, the apple cake, and several other little bites. All were delighted with their selection. These desserts are on the smaller side (maybe about 4-5 bites each) so I do not recommend sharing. At breakfast, I had the avocado toast which was likewise delicious. They kept the coffee hot. Aura consistently exceeded my expectations.

The service was "mid" at best... our server was not very attentive or knowledgeable - 2/5 at best. We were seated next to an obnoxious table - they were so loud and actually FaceTiming for the entire restaurant to hear. Then a 5th friend decided to stop by - we hoped they would move to the bar at this stage (away from us) but he pulled up a chair and was even louder than the 4 at the table. We muscled through the first course (Burrata - pretty tasty), and were halfway through the halibut when we finally asked to be moved. Unfortunately the only tables were in the bar area - no view, but nice and quiet. We ordered dessert - zero mention of my wife's birthday (which was on the rez) or action to deal with the table that killed the vibe of the whole place. I left with a sour taste in my mouth after an expensive meal. There are much better options in Victoria.
