Went to Siam Express for a team lunch, and the food was so good that I completely forgot to take pictures. That alone says a lot. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The dishes came out hot, well balanced, and packed with authentic Thai flavors that everyone at the table enjoyed. Portions were generous, and the menu had something for everyone, which made it perfect for a group lunch. Service was friendly and efficient, and the overall experience was smooth from start to finish. It is one of those places where the food speaks for itself. Ambience is like any other food mall place, nothing spectacular but there is enough space and it was clean If you are looking for consistently great Thai food in Rancho Cordova, Siam Express is a must try. I will definitely be back, and next time I will remember to take photos.

This place has the best Thai food I have had in town with great customer service and amazing food. The moment I got my food from the friendliest smile I opened the box the crispy pork and rice (Kra moo krob) immediately danced in my mouth and so much flavor! All in all, come to this place and you will love the food!

2. Pad Basil

Authentic Thai basil stir-fry, just like how Thais eat it. The flavor is spot on - savory, slightly spicy, and incredibly fragrant with real holy basil. You can really smell and taste the basil. Paired perfectly with rice and a fried egg on top. If you're looking for true Thai flavors, this dish is a must. Highly recommended!

Orange Chicken

Orange Chicken was really flavorful and light. The sauce wasnt overkill and the chicken wasn't overly deep fried. I will be back to try more things! Service was friendly and its located inside of the SF market food court.

Love that there's a new Thai option inside the SF Supermarket food court! There is a lot of variety in the menu and the flavor of the food was very authentic. The staff were very kind and eager to help with any questions. Overall, I would definitely recommend people to come find this gem inside the food court!

9. Thai Roast Beef

Excellent quick-service Thai food with consistent restaurant quality. Orders are prepared fresh on order quickly, flavors are authentic, and portions are huge. Clean station and friendly service make this a standout option in the SF Market food court. Went to get the popcorn chicken dish at lunch and it was so good I went back to get it for dinner. I tried the crazy chicken, thai fried rice, thai roast beef and the shrimp pad thai and they were all delicious!

The food here is so good!! I got to try it today at the Sf Supermarket Food court with my friends and I absolutely love their food! We were greeted by the sweetest people, they were so friendly and welcoming. They were really helpful and kind and brought out the food to us too. We started out with the fried imitation crab and some wontons and it was so good the batter is so nice and airy and I love how it's not too heavy. The imitation crab is so good, def all of our faves. My friends got popcorn chicken , chicken pad Thai and something else I forgot Lol. I got the orange chicken and it's so good! Everything came out fresh and hot and the chicken was so crispy I love the flavors. They gave us good big portions I got too full from all the food and took home my leftovers. It still tastes good even when I reheated it ! Everything tasted so amazing and we will definitely be back when we go back to the SF Supermarket food court ! Highly recommend !

Dessert ! Custard over coconut sticky rice ! It was delicious

I've been to this Thai express take out several times and have never been disappointed. The food is always flavorful, the portions are generous, and the quality is consistently great. Definitely one of my go-to spots for Thai food!

We use to eat here when it was just called "Thai Smile" loooooong ago. They are open 10am to 9:30pm M-F except Sundays. Upon arrival.... Pros 1) we got parking right away when we arrived. But parking is limited. 2) Both people in the restaurant immediately smiled and greeted us. 3) we got seated right away. There wasn't many people eating there. 4) restaurant looked clean. Our table, chairs, cups, plates, bowls, utensils were all clean. 5) water tasted good. No funky or metal taste. 6) Taro boba tasted great. Tum Yum soup (a little on the sweeter side), drunken noodle, and California hand roll tasted great. 7) bathroom clean. 8) we got our tab quick and it was easy to go pay it. 9) our waitress was very nice. Cons 1) there were 3 of us. Two of us got water. One didn't. We had to ask for a 3rd glass of water. Twice. But we did eventually get the 3rd glass for water. 2) Conclusion Wec have always liked this place. I recommend it. Staffs were nice, place clean, cutely wall-decorated, clean bathroom, good foods, quick in and out.

Service was great, the waitress was nice and accomodating, the sushi chef was nice as well as he occasionally came by to serve the dishes. Dishes were good and didn't take too long. Overall was a very pleasant experience. Little qualm may just be the parking can get difficult if it's busy but besides that there's still parking around just gotta walk a bit.

I ordered the Rad Na, and it was easily a 10/10. The gravy was rich, savory, and full of flavor without being too heavy. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, and the veggies had that ideal texture tender with just the right amount of crunch. We also had the chicken pad Thai, which really impressed me. Normally I find myself adding a lot of lime to boost the flavor, but this dish was already well-balanced and delicious on its own. Just a squeeze of lime made it even better. The service really stood out too. Our waiter was attentive and thoughtful he made sure I'd be okay with a water-based noodle dish and took the time to explain what Rad Na is before I ordered. That level of care made the experience even better. Great food, great service, and an all-around great experience. Highly recommend!

The first half dozen times I came, was during 2020 and 2021 and they did not allow anyone inside beyond a tiny 3'x3' space at the far door. Take out only. I recall my review mentioned service time quoted wrong and inconsistent spice level. Well, those two were problematic tonight. I didn't ask and wasn't told how long food would be. Shortly after placing my order a group of young people walked in like they owned the place and sat at a long table that had dishes added to it as they were coming in. My food took 30+ minutes. The Tom kha seafood... I think the seafood may have been frozen and re-thawed a couple of times as it had a strange combination of textures within a piece of meat and pieces were very chewy. The spiciness, asked for medium but not too hot, like mild-medium. My liquidy yellow curry chicken was barely mild. The soup, was just sweet. Tbe rice was abundant but soggy/clumpy. The inside is absolutely lovely. I took tons of pictures for my first visit inside. I was told most was imported from Thailand. I believe it. I'm just not able to get myself to find the food good enough for me. Sad.

While doing some work in this part of Sacramento, I decided to grab lunch even though it was on the…read moreend of a traditional lunch hour, which is usually how I roll anyway. I've been craving good Thai food for a hot minute, and YELP to the rescue! Kaidao is located in a strip mall with several other restaurants. They're only open until 2:30 in the afternoon for lunch, and have an entire menu that is devoted to a ton of lunch items. It's a small restaurant, and there is extremely limited seating. There's a huge sign on their front door, telling customers and anyone else that if you wish to use the restroom that basically forget it they're not going to allow you to use the restroom. The restaurant opened up sometime in the middle of the pandemic and they've been there ever since. The restaurant seems to be run by a couple with the wife in the back cooking, and the husband taking care of the front end of the restaurant. That means he does the seating, the ordertaking, and brings everything to the table, as well as cleans up afterwards. Pictures can be deceiving. I ended up ordering the pad Thai noodles with beef. I was really looking for a lot of protein, and would have preferred chicken, but when I glanced over at the table next to me, they had a chicken dish with chicken exactly the way I don't like it. Slice pieces of white meat that taste like sawdust that has been compressed together. I just find that very rarely is it ever tasty, moist or flavorful. I ordered a Thai tea, and asked if the beef or if there was another protein that would be recommended. He insisted beef was really good. So beef it was. I had to remind him twice that I had ordered a Thai tea before he brought it to the table because it was obvious that he had forgotten. The Thai tea was pretty tasty. It was also very strong. Something that I was definitely in favor of at that time of day, but it just caught me off guard. I will say this was the best part of the meal! When my lunch arrived, you can tell by the pictures that it looks tasty. It was sadly disappointing. The noodles were not cooked all the way through and were rather hard, and I would say less than al dente. Not something that's expected in a Thai dish. All if not, most dishes can be ordered with whatever heat level you desire. This was not one of them. It was prepared mild, which was fine, it just lacked enough sauce, and sadly had even less flavor to it. It's like they skimp on the sauce for whatever reason. The beef was also exactly what I did not want and was prepared like the chicken dish Was at the table next to me. Small little tiny thin slices that were not seasoned, and was overcooked. Just overall it was not a good dish. What I did like, was a presentation of the dish. I like the fact that there was the nuts, and veggies on the side so that I could incorporate them into my dish as well as lime slices. I am thanked the man for the lime because I think it really makes these dishes taste fresh. I think if they were to cook the noodles so that they are done, add more sauce and flavor, and not overcook the meat. This would've been a great dish.

Sometimes this spells out trouble because I want to order the whole menu instead of a sensible amount of food. It was a lot of food, but I've learned House of Thai Rice & Noodle is best enjoyed family style where you get to enjoy a few things. The pricing is very reasonable for the portions and the flavor on the dishes is so good! I don't know what they do with their Chow Fun, but the noodles were so flavorful, soft and fluffy and didn't need any extra sauce. The Tom Kha soup is a comfort food for me and this is always a great option. I forgot to order rice with my curry, but eating it like a soup is equally satisfying. The Kao Soy was flavorful and the noodles were great with the broth and toppings. I've dined in and gotten take out and both are great experiences. The team here is so friendly and welcoming. When I order takeout, I typically order at the restaurant and wait and they always have me sit at a table and offer water or another drink while I wait. I do love dining in because the dishes are at their freshest and it makes for better photos. The dining are has plenty of seats and it comfortable. The plaza also has plenty of parking, but the spots nearest to the restaurant tend to fill up. If you're thinking about stopping here, try it, you won't be disappointed!
