I've seen this teriyaki place change names a few times over the years. Decided to give it a try since it has the "fukumi restaurant group" tag I honestly don't taste much difference from the last one. The price is still hefty. I think I paid $19 for plate with noodles. Beef teriyaki and chicken teriyaki. It tasted fine. Would probably do without the noodles. They didn't do much. Would rather just get more rice next time.

Hidden gem! The teriyaki options were great, and the food itself tasted hot and fresh. I opted for the plate - honey chicken and mayo chicken w/ broccoli and yakisoba. My bf got their thai spicy chicken rice bowl. Both dishes were big portions and had lots of protein in it. The service was great, even if it was an order at the counter style, the worker continued to check in on us. It was small inside, but it was very clean and modern. I originally just came here to get my passport stamp, but I think I just found my new go-to teriyaki spot! Also, the location is kind of hidden, so I didn't even know this place was a restaurant until I saw it was part of the fukumi group.

Was excited to hear the Fukumi group opened another business! Not the best location but nice, clean and spacious inside. I got the teriyaki plate where you choose two bases and two proteins. I chose white rice, yakisoba which was an additional charge, teriyaki chicken and the spicy Thai chicken. Service was quick! Everything came out so hot and in HUGE portions as well!! Very tasty! Would love to try more.

Food tasted great and the teriyaki plate portions were quite large and filling. Service was nice and didn't take too long. No complaints from me, I'd definitely go back

Great teriyaki! The staff was very friendly and helpful when asking questions about the food. I ordered the plate with teriyaki chicken and spicy pork. Both really good. The pork has good flavor with a little kick, not a lot. The teriyaki is good cause it's not the super sweet American teriyaki. This is more about flavor and not sweetness. Ordered with rice and the stir fried veggies. The veggies were crisp and tasty. Came in during lunch hour and it was almost full. It took less than 10 minutes to get our other, which was fast considering everything is cooked to order. Nice quiet place, staff very friendly and you can hear music playing but not super loud. Will definitely be coming back to try some of the other options

Food is absolutely delicious and affordable. I love that every time I order and I wait for it to go. It's cooked fresh. It's not a long wait

I recently saw this place on Instagram and I usually pass by this exit, so decided to stop by and try this place out. So Young's Teriyaki is part of the Fukumi Group, so you know it's going to be good. The place was a bit tricky to find. Waze made me do a U turn right after the train tracks. I'm pretty sure I could've just turned right in to the parking before the tracks. But now I know. Also, you can't really see their sign while driving, so just be aware that it's a bit hidden. But it's worth it! The person working greeted me as soon as I walked in and was very friendly. I actually ordered online, so I didn't get to talk much. Now on to the food. I like how the teriyaki plates are customizable. So many combinations to try haha. Below is what we ordered: Plate 1: Chicken Katsu, Beef Teriyaki, White Rice and Macaroni Salad. The Beef Teriyaki didn't look that good, BUT don't let looks deceive you. It was the best beef teriyaki I've had haha. It was very tender and flavorful. The chicken Katsu was juicy and not too much breading. The Mac Salad kind of caught me off guard. I was expecting it to be like a Hawaiian style mac salad. I guess I should've known it would be different considering this is a teriyaki place haha. Once I got over that confusion, it was actually pretty good. Seemed a bit watery, but maybe that's how it's supposed to be? Either way, this plate was very good. Plate 2: Honey Chicken, Spicy Thai Chicken, White Rice and Macaroni Salad. The portion size is pretty big. It can be shared if not too hungry haha. The flavors between the 2 chickens were very distinct. The Spicy Thai did have a bit of a kick, so just be aware. But the Honey was just right. They were flavorful. Golden Spicy Tuna Roll: I should have ate this as soon as I got it haha. It got a bit soft by the time I was able to eat, but it was still very good. With so many items to try, I will definitely be back.

This establishment has a shared parking lot so there's plenty of parking spots. It's a bit hard to spot as this is on a corner but GPS should lead you to the right location. Walking in, the vibe was relaxed and also warm. The staff was very kind and insightful on the menu. They were attentive on bringing utensils and bowls to share considering that I came with another person. I got a plate where I chose chicken katsu, chicken teriyaki, macaroni salad, and rice. The chicken katsu was crispy and decently portioned (1 cutlet). The katsu sauce lathered on top was a great add on! We dined in so it didn't ruin the crispiness of the chicken katsu. The chicken teriyaki was smoky with a hint of sweetness to it. The meat was not dry but it wasn't like a burst in flavor so you do get tired of it after a while. They are cut into tiny irregular pieces but that wasn't a problem to eat. The macaroni salad with bell peppers and corn was delicious! It was an extra dollar which I still thought it's worth. Rice was fresh and there's not much else to it. The shrimp tempura roll was solid and what I expected. Fresh rice with imitation crab that was at a good slightly cold temperature and a slightly crispy shrimp inside. The yum yum sauce wasn't too overpowering but you have the pickled ginger to refresh your palate if needed. On a side note, your fukumi points from other restaurants still works here. Overall, I would give this place closer to a 4.5 stars. I'd come back especially during weekday lunch where it's ~$9-$10 for a bowl (1 entree and 1 side).

Compared to other teriyaki places this one takes the cake! Portions are huge and the flavor is HUGE! I got the Thai chicken and teriyaki chicken with a bed of spicy noodles and a side of rice, and my kid got chicken katsu, teriyaki chicken, with a bed of noodles and a side of rice. The prices definitely match the serving size. The staff was super friendly, made sure we were enjoying our food and we had enough sauce. Very nice restaurant with a modern look and feel, we'll be back for sure!

Arrived at 5pm on Thursday, 6 people ordered and waited for 30 minutes and more to get our food. The food portion is big, spicy thai chicken and beef teriyaki were great. I had two sides - spicy noodles, it's spicy but a bit too sweet Stir fried veggies, it's good, I like the asparagus.

    Red light roll

Got the red light roll and it had the tinest amount of spicy crab mix in it... pretty much all avocado. On top of that the girl who worked at the register with the dark hair was completely rude. When I came up to the register to tell her I had a pick up order she didn't say anything then asked "what?". Gave two starts instead of one because when I came before the food was good but I feel like I wasted my money this time.

Wow! This place is amazing. The teriyaki, noodles and chicken is so flavorful and delicious. Fukumi Group never fails!

My family and I were craving an Asian cuisine and I came across this place while browsing on Apple Maps! I was surprised to see that it was part of the Fukumi Restaurant Group so I knew it was going to be really good! The menu was either you get a bowl or a plate with an entree and sides and both options have very good portions! For the 4 of us, we each got our own plates so it was a lot of food! Specifically for me, I ordered the plate with Honey Chicken and Crunch Tofu with White Rice and Broccoli sides. It was very tasty and just as good as the food at Fukumi ramen! I'm so glad I came across this place because the location is a bit hidden so I hope more people find out about this place. The prices were also very fair for how much food you get. My family and I were all impressed and already thinking of coming back!

The sushi, sashimi and cooked food were all better than expected. I been to a lot of AYCE places and normally fish slices are super thin, it's not the case here. Sashimi were fresh, good sizes, nigiri's were not trimmed down, so many options! I love the option to add Amaebi, Fresh Osyters, Uni, and Blue Fin at a decent price. The Garlic seasoned nigiri all were delicious. I don't think I ate anything bad tonight. The deserts can be a bit bigger than sushi size. But they do allow you to order as much as you can eat. And I settled for Wabune Sushi in the Raleys Grocery Store plaza. So onto the review: I ordered a ton of food, and even wrote everything down on paper for the newbie server. Hamachi Kama: felt it wasnt Krispy or charred enough. 3.5/5 Volcano Mushrooms: wasn't what I was expecting, it was just a bunch of shrooms, battered up with some cream cheese 2.5/5 **would skip ordering this Douglas Roll: wasn't anything worth remembering, as in typing this an hour 1/2 later, I cannot recall what was in the Douglas Roll besides red sauce and spicy tuna, shrimp tempura....so it must have been a mediocre roll 3/5 Chirashi Bowl: was ok, sashimi was fresh, but nothing along the levels of Sushi Gen in Little Tokyo Los Angeles 4/5 Uni: I want to allege after finishing both Uni Nigiri that this wasn't the freshest, because of the complex after taste, it was somewhat bitter with a fishy aftertaste and the coloring was a bit dark. If you ever go to a Mitsuwas or Marukai or Nijiya and look for that shining glistening gold packaged air-imprted Uni...yeah. You'll know what I mean. Totally different. 3 2.5/5 Amaebi: Corral Sweet Shrimp Raw Nigiri: probably the only shining star or the 4/5 *Although I suggest next time removing the heads of the shrimp and steeping them with Miso soup for an additional layer of presentation, it would give the Miso soup more Umami And what else am I missing.....yes the Oysters at Market Price ($16.00) Ok aside from the fact the restaurant operators couldn't really name where the oysters were from...I'm assuming it's frozen oysters...I wanted to give this starter a higher score, but Everytime I slurp, I get fragments of the Oyster shells in my mouth, and honestly, I find the oysters that you can get at Wholefoods market Alot of times better quality and taste (being better quality oysters are sweeter and have less of that Seafood aftertaste. So unfortunately I have to give this order a 2.5/5 even though I finished it because the ponzu and chilli sauces they used really masked the natural tastes of the oyster. The chicken katsu is still one of the best I've had--light, crispy, and perfectly crunchy on the outside, with juicy, tender chicken inside. Every visit has been consistently delicious, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. I also tried the spicy pork again. It's a bit different from the Korean spicy pork I'm used to. Instead of the pork being marinated so the flavor is deeply infused, it seems to be grilled first and then coated with the sauce. While it's not the traditional style I expected, it's still flavorful and worth trying if you're open to a different take on the dish. In addition the chicken gangjeong dish that requires it to be "deep fried chicken" needs additional time to get crunchy like you would expect. I think the sauce may have made the crunch disappear. The consistency in both the food and the service is what keeps bringing me back. I'm looking forward to working my way through the rest of the menu. I don't know if my experience would be better if I dined in, but I grubhubbed food from here twice…read moreand BOTH times something went wrong with my order. The first time I ordered, I got a tempura udon, so it was an udon soup that should have came with mixed tempura. The box that should have been my tempura was SOMEONE'S LEFTOVERS. Half eaten rice and the lettuce that would usually be served under the meat. I called the store and the person who packed my order so happened to answer and apologized profusely explaining that some customers had set down their boxes where he was packing the food and must have grabbed the wrong box by mistake. Grubhub refunded that item for me. I decided to order from them again today because last time I also got sushi and I had to admit...the sushi I had is the best I've had in Rancho Cordova! So I wanted to try other rolls, so this time I got the Express Lane Roll and then the Northern Light Fish Wrap. The way the fish wrap was described, I was under the impression there was NO RICE. As the name suggests, the wrap is fish instead of rice, right? So consider my surprise when I open my box and I see TWO sushi rolls. I was so confused. One matched the description of the Express Lane Roll, but I had no idea what the other roll was. The inside had crab mix, salmon, and tuna like the fish wrap was supposed to have, but outside the roll was topped with jalapeno slices, unagi, and maybe more tuna? It's supposed to be topped with deep fried jalapeno and sweet potato. There wasn't mention of unagi being in this wrap. Again, I will give credit where credit is due...both rolls were very good! But I'm so frustrated that my only experiences with this restaurant were so bad. I did request a refund because I did not receive what I ordered; the fish wrap is more expensive than their fancier sushi rolls, but I also feel bad because I do want to support a restaurant I recognize has good food. Perhaps my experience would be better if I dine in, but my question right now is would it be worth spending more money at this place if my orders keep getting messed up?

We had already picked the items we were interested in beforehand, and Violet let us immediately order. We got the Hamachi Kama, the Shrimp Daddy, The Northen Lights Wrap, 2 small bowls of miso soup, the BBQ Albacore, the House Wife Special Roll and the Philly Cheesesteak Roll. EVERYTHING tasted SUPER FRESH and incredibly delicious! We HIGHLY recommend the Shrimp Daddy and the Northern Lights Wrap, but honestly you can't go wrong with any of the items we selected. Violet was VERY professional, personable, and tentative and took great care of us. The other server, Gayane, was also very sweet and came over and gave my wife a miniature chocolate cake (made by a local bakery called Heavenly Pasteries) as a Mother's Day treat. Then at one point, Chef Maguro walked around and checked in with every customer and stopped at our table for a chat. Maguro was such an incredibly cool and talented guy. He told us he's been a sushi chef for about 28 years, and it shows. He's also responsible for all the delicious looking pictures on their website and in the restaurant. Not totally sure if Chef Maguro made ALL of our food, so we need to also shout out Chef Henry as well. This place is excellent! The food was super tasty, and the people working there really sold the experience. Thank you for being a wonderful server, Violet! Someone give this woman a raise! And thank you Chef Maguro for being a stand up, awesome guy! We will for sure be coming back again soon!!
