I love finding new Thai restaurants to support, and this place located in Fair Oaks is absolutely delicious, with a few unique menu items that are pretty traditional. We went on a Sunday and it was pretty quiet in the restaurant. We were quickly seated with a smile, and started looking over the menu. There is a good variety of items to choose from, but I ultimately went with the Yentafo, which is a traditional pink noodle soup. I also ordered a Thai green tea (I personally like Thai green tea more than regular Thai tea). My husband went with the Laab with sticky rice. The Yentafo was packed with protein and the broth was so unique. It was unlike anything I had ever had, and the rice noodles were thick and bouncy. While I enjoyed my meal, I read more into this noodle soup, and it's definitely a very homestyle dish. I have always been a pretty adventurous eater, so I took to the dish quickly, but it would be a bit of a stretch for those who aren't used to Thai food other than the usual suspects. My partner and I finally got to try Yada Thai Cuisine this evening and it was wonderful. Not only was the food and the service incredible the interior of the restaurant was gorgeous. Perfect for a special occasion or a date night. We started with the Moo Tod (deep fried pork) with a delicious tamerind sauce. It reminded me of like a fried jerky... So so delicious. I recommend this and a beer. Then we split the kra Pao with pork and it was so delicious and authentic as well as an order of sticky rice and satay. Everything we ordered was very very good. I had a very good lunch experience here recently. This is a family-run restaurant serving food cooked with traditional recipes. The menu had some dishes we have not seen on a typical Thai restaurant menu. Our server was friendly, efficient, and attentive. I had Sukhothai noodle soup, which I have never had before. It took some time to prepare (my order arrived a lot later than those of others), but I loved it. In addition to what was described (ground pork, fish meatball, beansprouts, and egg) in the menu, it also had several pork slices (very tasty) and several large pieces of squid (too chewy for me). The noodles were thin rice noodles. I ordered it extra spicy, and it was perfect for me. My husband ordered Ga Tiem, which was a dish that he also had never had. His "meat" choice was tofu. He said the garlic pepper sauce was very tasty; a bit sweet, but also with some spiciness (he ordered "medium"), and (of course) garlic flavor. The broccoli and carrots were steamed perfectly, so they were fully cooked, but still snappy and fresh. The menu description says the "meat" in garlic sauce is "on steamed veggies". The tofu was on top of the cabbage, carrots, and baby corn, but the broccoli was separate, so completely lacked sauce. But it was all cooked perfect.y Portions were large, and prices very reasonable. I was super excited to find a new Thai restaurant in the Fair Oaks area of Sacramento. Yada Thai is located in a small shopping center, and when I arrived, it wasn't clear if they were even open for lunch. I decided to check it out, and walked into an empty restaurant. I was greeted by a very nice young woman who brought me a menu, and offered me some of their lime infused water. The sign out outside said soft opening, and since it was during the lunch hour, I asked if they had any soft opening specials or lunch menu. I was told no on both accounts, and that the signs were over a month old. Why leave it up if there isn't a soft opening? I was told that their food is all made in house. I decided to order their vegetarian egg rolls because they sounded pretty tasty. The eggrolls were presented nicely, and I two of the four of the order. I decided to order the Thai chicken. I was told that the portions were very generous, and I was pretty excited. I love really good Thai chicken. The way that it's grilled, the dipping sauces, all of it. The restaurant closes towards the end of their lunch hour, and then reopens for dinner. The chicken arrived at my table around the same time that I could tell they were trying to close the restaurant, and I have plans of visiting a friend in the area so I asked for them to pack the egg rolls, sauce, chicken, etc. I cut a small piece of the chicken so I could try it, and I found it to be dry and tasteless. Little do I know that would be the least of the problems with the food, and there was no way the chicken was cooked when I ordered it. Since I was planning on visiting a friend in the area, it made sense to share the food. My friend ate the other two egg rolls which were still warm, and we both started teeth the chicken only to discover that there was no way that this was cooked prior to bringing it to the table. It very clearly had been made earlier, and they barely reheated it and that's what I was served. The chicken was raw in parts, overcooked and others, and we weren't going eat more than what we attempted to. Both of us ended up getting sick from the food of the dysentery level, and it's unclear if it was from the vegetables, etc., from the egg rolls, or from the poorly prepared chicken or maybe both. Over $50 of food thrown away, several days of being sick, and the guilt of sharing this with a friend. This is definitely not an experience that I would recommend on any level read more

We tried this new Thai restaurant which opened (soft opening) in June 12,2026. Family owned, no liquor license yet, but my Thai wife fully endorses it. We had the Papaya salad and fish cakes for starters. Entrees included mixed veggies with pork and authentic ventafo, a traditional Thai noodle soup with seafood, fish balls, pork and pig's blood. Went to this new thai restaurant in Fair Oaks! There are quite a lot or unique dishes here that I dont always see at other thai places in sac such as the crying tiger, their other seafood dishes aside from tom yum and their catfish curry which i appreciate. We got the thai river prawn soup and another sea food based soup with Thai omelet pieces inside-both were extremely umami and they are generous with their seafood portions . Pumpkin curry is really good! Tender chicken, large chunks of pumpkin- Delish! I also ordered the pad cashew and I wish the chicken had been stir fried instead of fried because frying made it dry and a little unpleasant. The vegetables were very tasty however. This was my husband's and my first time dining here and we were really impressed! We ordered our favorite Thai dishes which included crispy egg rolls to start with, then Phad Thai with tofu and Pumpkin Curry, which the owner told us was a popular dish there. The Pumpkin Curry had large chunks of pumpkin, large shrimp, chicken slices and an assortment of thinly sliced vegetables and flavorful basil leaves. Not adding any extra spice level to the curry was just the right spice level for us as red curry is already a little spicy. The Phad Thai noodles were cooked perfectly and a scoop of finely chopped peanuts were on the side with a lime slice. The tofu squares were large and plentiful. We mixed in the peanuts and squeezed the juicy lime over everything. We ordered a side of their delicious brown rice which went perfect with the curry sauce. The dishes were very flavorable and abundant as we have plenty of leftovers! There were quite a bit of diners there today when we were there. The atmosphere was relaxing, quiet and the ceiling lights are all adorned with hanging purple flowers. Bathrooms were clean and there is plenty of free parking. We will gladly return! read more

We are going in to dine next time, but the quality of taste out of containers is insane! The plain (zero) spice level is no spice at all. So next time we will heat up the levels. Delicious Thai food! I haven't had Thai food so good since the early 2000s in the bay area. The Ka Prao, chicken satay, and Laab was excellent The peanut sauce for the satay was heavy in galangal and that is not a bad thing. I wished they made more dishes with their peanut sauce. The drunken noodles were pretty good too. I have to give a special shout out to the Thai tea. It tasted like it was sweetened with palm sugar for a more authentic taste! Super tasty! We love finding good food in Sacramento but especially closer to our home in Citrus Heights/Fair Oaks because the restaurants in this area are not good at all. On our first visit, we ordered the Pad Kra Pao, Pad Kee Mao, rice, and a Thai tea. Every dish was absolutely delicious, and we enjoyed our meal so much that we came back just a week later. On our second visit, we ordered the chicken satay, Panang curry, boat noodles, and a Thai green tea. Once again, everything was exceptional. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I've eaten at many Thai restaurants over the years, and Yada Thai is by far one of the most authentic I've found. The flavors immediately brought me back to my time in Thailand. Each dish tasted like the meals I remember enjoying there, which made the experience even more special. If you've never tried boat noodles, I highly recommend ordering them here. The broth is incredibly rich and deeply flavorful, and the meat is perfectly tender. It was one of my favorite dishes. The owner and his family are incredibly warm and welcoming. You can tell they put a lot of love and pride into every meal they prepare. Everything is made from scratch, and they don't take shortcuts. The young lady was quick and efficient at retrieving my order then sent me off with a pleasant good-bye. For the food...I'm kinda particular about my Thai. I have tried many places since moving to NorCal only to be left disappointed. I was excited to see there is a new place close to home with great reviews! I must say, the yellow curry was amazing. It was savory with just the right amount of heat and hint of sweet. It was loaded with meat and absolutely worth every penny.
