We tried this new Thai restaurant which opened (soft opening) in June 12,2026. Family owned, no liquor license yet, but my Thai wife fully endorses it. We had the Papaya salad and fish cakes for starters. Entrees included mixed veggies with pork and authentic ventafo, a traditional Thai noodle soup with seafood, fish balls, pork and pig's blood. She loved it. Service was quick and the food did not taste like fast food. There were about 15 tables and most were taken. We. Finished with bualoy, rice flour with sweetened coconut syrup. Similar to michWe will be back to try other entrees.

Went to this new thai restaurant in Fair Oaks! There are quite a lot or unique dishes here that I dont always see at other thai places in sac such as the crying tiger, their other seafood dishes aside from tom yum and their catfish curry which i appreciate. We got the thai river prawn soup and another sea food based soup with Thai omelet pieces inside-both were extremely umami and they are generous with their seafood portions . One of the best thai restaurants i have been to in the sacramento area, their presentation is also beautiful and vibrant, we will definitely come back to try their other things. Service was quick and friendly too and they also gave my fiance a free refill on his thai tea

Pad Thai Noodles: Mix the noodle, vegetable, & crushed peanuts together - then squeeze lime over fluffed up noodles.

It was better than I expected. It's located in the former "Silver Dragon" location (sorry to see them go after all these years in the area) Family-like service at Yada was nice. Ordered the classic Pad Thai Noodles n Khao Soy Noodles (coconut) that was quite tasty. We'll be back.

Yada Thai Cuisine is an amazing family-owned restaurant. The food tastes truly authentic Thai, the restaurant is very clean, and the service is outstanding. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious Thai food and a great dining experience!

My husband and I stumbled upon Yada Thai Cuisine during their soft opening and decided to stop in for dinner. We're so glad we did! On our first visit, we ordered the Pad Kra Pao, Pad Kee Mao, rice, and a Thai tea. Every dish was absolutely delicious, and we enjoyed our meal so much that we came back just a week later. On our second visit, we ordered the chicken satay, Panang curry, boat noodles, and a Thai green tea. Once again, everything was exceptional. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I've eaten at many Thai restaurants over the years, and Yada Thai is by far one of the most authentic I've found. The flavors immediately brought me back to my time in Thailand. Each dish tasted like the meals I remember enjoying there, which made the experience even more special. If you've never tried boat noodles, I highly recommend ordering them here. The broth is incredibly rich and deeply flavorful, and the meat is perfectly tender. It was one of my favorite dishes. The owner and his family are incredibly warm and welcoming. You can tell they put a lot of love and pride into every meal they prepare. Everything is made from scratch, and they don't take shortcuts. Their commitment to authentic flavors and quality really shines through in every dish. I'm so happy to finally have a truly authentic Thai restaurant in the area. If you're looking for delicious, homemade Thai food made with care, I highly recommend giving this charming mom & pop restaurant a try. You won't be disappointed!

Tilapia stir fried with curry. Super yummy

We visited during the soft opening and were very impressed! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. The food was absolutely delicious and tasted authentic. Every bite brought back memories of my time in Thailand--the flavors were spot on and truly transported me back. We're excited to have such a great place in the area and can't wait to come back. Highly recommend! We ordered a lot more but we only remembered to take pictures of the other dishes

, , , , , , Sunrise Blvd Madison Ave If you're craving authentic Thai food that truly tastes like Thailand, this is a restaurant you should not miss. Although the restaurant is newly opened, the chef and owner bring many years of experience in the Thai restaurant industry. From the moment you walk in, you'll notice the warm, family-style atmosphere, spacious dining area, and welcoming environment that makes you feel right at home. What makes this restaurant stand out from many Thai restaurants in America is its selection of special dishes that are rarely found elsewhere. Depending on the day, you may find unique Thai favorites such as Tom Yum River Prawns, Gaeng Som with Cha-Om Omelet, Spicy Stir-Fried Catfish, Thai Oyster Omelet (Hoi Tod), and Thai Grilled Pork Skewers. They also offer a variety of traditional noodle dishes, including Tom Yum Noodles, Braised Beef Noodle Soup, and Yentafo. One of the things I appreciate most is that the food tastes like real Thai food. Unlike many Thai restaurants in the U.S. that tend to make dishes overly sweet, the flavors here are balanced, authentic, and true to what you would find in Thailand. Even classic dishes like Pad Thai are prepared with a more traditional flavor profile rather than being sugar-heavy. Every dish brings back memories of dining in Thailand--whether at a riverside restaurant, a local family eatery, or a favorite neighborhood spot. The flavors, presentation, and attention to detail create a genuinely authentic experience. The restaurant is conveniently located near the intersection of Sunrise Boulevard and Madison Avenue, with plenty of parking and easy access. If you're looking for authentic Thai cuisine, hard-to-find specialty dishes, and a warm family-run atmosphere, this restaurant deserves a spot on your must-visit list. Highly recommended for both Thai food lovers and anyone wanting to experience the true taste of Thailand.

The first half dozen times I came, was during 2020 and 2021 and they did not allow anyone inside beyond a tiny 3'x3' space at the far door. Take out only. I recall my review mentioned service time quoted wrong and inconsistent spice level. Well, those two were problematic tonight. I didn't ask and wasn't told how long food would be. Shortly after placing my order a group of young people walked in like they owned the place and sat at a long table that had dishes added to it as they were coming in. My food took 30+ minutes. The Tom kha seafood... I think the seafood may have been frozen and re-thawed a couple of times as it had a strange combination of textures within a piece of meat and pieces were very chewy. The spiciness, asked for medium but not too hot, like mild-medium. My liquidy yellow curry chicken was barely mild. The soup, was just sweet. Tbe rice was abundant but soggy/clumpy. The inside is absolutely lovely. I took tons of pictures for my first visit inside. I was told most was imported from Thailand. I believe it. I'm just not able to get myself to find the food good enough for me. Sad.

I had the sautéed eggplant and it was good. The eggplant wasn't over cooked and the sauce was subtle and good. The house water was also actually really good - FYI I'm picky about restaurant water because it usually tastes like tap water. One thing that was odd here - We asked for the "spice rack" and all that they brought out was the chili sauce. Had to ask again for more chili and they brought out dried crushed chili pepper. (Didn't bother asking for the peppers in the fish sauce) Very humble restaurant but was busy for take out!!! It's worth a try.

Everything tastes fresh and delicious. The Shrimp Rangoons are my new favorite thing to order from any restaurant near me. They have the perfect amount of filling and the right amount of crunch from the thin casing. The Mixed Vegetable Tempura were large cuts of fresh vegetables in a light tempura batter. Loved it all, great quality and flavor. Their peanut sauce is absolutely delicious.

We use to eat here when it was just called "Thai Smile" loooooong ago. They are open 10am to 9:30pm M-F except Sundays. Upon arrival.... Pros 1) we got parking right away when we arrived. But parking is limited. 2) Both people in the restaurant immediately smiled and greeted us. 3) we got seated right away. There wasn't many people eating there. 4) restaurant looked clean. Our table, chairs, cups, plates, bowls, utensils were all clean. 5) water tasted good. No funky or metal taste. 6) Taro boba tasted great. Tum Yum soup (a little on the sweeter side), drunken noodle, and California hand roll tasted great. 7) bathroom clean. 8) we got our tab quick and it was easy to go pay it. 9) our waitress was very nice. Cons 1) there were 3 of us. Two of us got water. One didn't. We had to ask for a 3rd glass of water. Twice. But we did eventually get the 3rd glass for water. 2) Conclusion Wec have always liked this place. I recommend it. Staffs were nice, place clean, cutely wall-decorated, clean bathroom, good foods, quick in and out.

Service was great, the waitress was nice and accomodating, the sushi chef was nice as well as he occasionally came by to serve the dishes. Dishes were good and didn't take too long. Overall was a very pleasant experience. Little qualm may just be the parking can get difficult if it's busy but besides that there's still parking around just gotta walk a bit.

Portions were generous and pricing was decent. The Pad Thai looked great visually, but the noodles were overcooked and broken into smaller pieces, and it was missing peanuts. The flavor was very bland--I kept adding fish sauce to try to bring it to life. The sour seafood soup was good but also needed fish sauce. The Thai fried rice was begging for soy sauce or fish sauce as well. Something just felt off tonight. The Laos-style papaya salad wasn't pungent or spicy at all. I ordered medium spicy, but it came out mild. I had to add quite a bit of fish sauce and chilies to suit my taste. Overall, the service was good, but the food lacked flavor for me.

We ordered the boat noodle, which was super flavorful and really unique. We've never had anything like it before, so it definitely stood out. But the star of the show for me was their Pad Thai. I genuinely think it's the best Pad Thai I've had in Sacramento. I've been searching for a good one that isn't overly sweet, and this place absolutely nailed it. This is officially my go-to spot for Pad Thai from now on. The service during our first visit was good, and the ambience is really nice ,cozy, warm, and inviting. The only reason I'm taking off one star is because of our second visit. We arrived about an hour before their posted closing time, but as soon as we pulled up, the staff inside hurriedly switched the sign to "closed." It caught us off guard because it was still early, and we were really looking forward to eating there again. Not sure what happened that night, and maybe there was a reason, but it did feel a little disappointing. Still, based on the food and our first experience, we're hoping to return and try again, especially for that Pad Thai!
