    Thai tea, $6 June 2026
    Sam R.

Saturday, 6/06/2026 - Tried "Pho Tasty Vietnamese Cuisine". Address is 2738 Sunrise Blvd, Ste 4, Rancho Cordova, CA 95742. It's located in SF Supermarket, but on the outside of the grocery store. Upon arrival... Pros 1) lots of parking. No issue with parking. 2) the hostess was super nice. Seated us right away. 3) All the foods we got were delicious. Very tasty and full of flavor. The hostess told us his dad makes it. 4) restaurant was clean. Our table, chairs, plates, utensils, cups were all clean. 5) Cons 1) love the shrimp spring roll. But sadden there isn't that crunchy thing in the middle like other restaurants I've been too. Still good tho. 2) peanut sauce was waaaaay too watery. Still good. 3) no bathroom inside the restaurant. But you can walk into SF Supermarket food court and use the bathroom here. Conclusion I really liked this little restaurant. If you haven't been here, you gotta go try them. Like I said, plenty of parking, hostess nice, foods very tasty and the Thai tra was in point. I'd go here again and again.

Glad it finally open. Not to shabby. Pho was tasty. Didn't really stand out from the rest. -operationally needs to fine tune. Understandable as it still new and working out the kinks. -coffee- was good. -Will definitely try again in the near future...

    pho with chew beef flank.

First time I am here to check out this Pho. The Pho broth is good. It needs a little bit more salt. By the time you put the lemon juice in and all the veges the broth tastes kinda bland. The meat flank is chewy not tender enough yet. Hopefully the cook see my message then he can cook a little longer. I have to spit out the chewy parts. Overall, the broth is a lot better than the other Pho in Sacramento areas. Waitresses are friendly and nice

Bun bo hue was pretty solid, good flavor and a good amount of meat. I prefer my noodles a little more Al dente and these were a bit on the softer side but overall was a good bowl. A couple items we wanted to order was out of stock though. Service was nice, they had some communication issues with us but they helped us the best they could. One of the guys that made the noodles even came out to replace a bowl of pho that they accidentally gave beef broth instead of chicken broth. But it was a miscommunication and we didn't mind but he replaced the bowl and was really apologetic. We appreciated that.

I haven't had a chance to try the pho yet but I love: Fish Sauce Wings and the Grilled Beef Vermicelli here. If you haven't tried the Grilled Beef Vermicelli, give it a try because I think that's the best bún thịt nướng in the Greater Sacramento Area. The side of the beef rib was a very generous portion for $6 as seen in the picture. Im not sure where they source their produce and meats but I'm thinking being conveniently in a center with an Asian market, their meats and veggies are very fresh since they probably don't have to overstock them. I'll be back to try more dishes for sure!

I was pleasantly surprised by the pho due to other reviews. I found the pho was quite enjoyable, though slightly sweeter than my liking. However, my picky daughter thoroughly enjoyed it. The pork spring rolls were delicious. The pork was well marinated and had a great charcoal taste. I would have preferred more herbs in the roll, but it was satisfying. The peanut sauce was also a bit sweet. The service was prompt and efficient, allowing us to enjoy our meal and leave in just 30 minutes. Considering its convenient location and ability to quickly satisfy pho cravings, I will likely return.

The service was good - kind and polite staff throughout our meal. We got the phở ga, sliced pork over vermicelli, lemongrass chicken à la carte, and Thai teas. The phở ga was okay - the broth was tasty but the amount of noodles/broth to the amount of chicken in the bowl was unbalanced. The sliced pork was delicious but again you get about a pound of noodles with about two to three ounces of sliced meat. The star of the meal was the lemongrass chicken. Bright, delicious, strong lemongrass flavor, juicy chicken, all with perfectly cooked vegetables - an ideal meal for the fitness-minded person that wants protein without a lot of carbs.

This Vietnamese Phò Restaurant opened this week. We had a late lunch and will definitely return to try other items. The service was quick, menu had a great selection, not an exhaustive endless menu. We did not try the pho, but started with Vietnamese chicken salad. Salt and pepper fried wings, and beef plate. It was enough for 2 hungry diners. Large locale and not crowded.

New pho spot in the sunrise blvd and Folsom blvd area.. walking in the restaurant is open and inviting but also semi plain because they haven't finished decorating their bar area.. other than that it's a pretty restaurant. The service is awesome.. the waiter and waitress were attentive and took order and brought out our food pretty quick. First time here so we had to try a few items. My son ordered eggrolls and chicken pho with no veggies or toppings. It looked plain but don't let it fool you! I don't usually order chicken pho at restaurants because it's always a ehhhh for me but I tasted his broth and it was great! It was clean tasting and had flavor unlike other pho places.. please don't change anything because I want to come back and try the pho myself next time. The eggrolls had a lot of flavor. And lots of ground meat inside it was a thumbs up for sure. I wanted something homey so I ordered the canh chua shrimp. A Vietnamese dish that family's usually eat for dinner along with some caramelized pork ribs. The soup was delicious. The caramelized ribs had an overwhelming oyster sauce taste so it was just ok for me. My son also wanted to try the salt n pepper ribs and he loved them.. it wasn't overly salted it was flavored well. Overall I will be back to try more dishes and post them for others to see..

new viet spot inside sf supermarket just dropped! The menu's got all the staples like cá kho & canh chua. I grabbed a coconut juice and it was so refreshing---like instant reset. Super convenient location + staff was on it, quick and attentive without hovering. Def one of those lowkey spots you keep in rotation.

Stir-fried beef with onions and bell peppers Black pepper beef cubes with vegetables Tender beef bites served over fresh salad It's very delicious. I will come again.

I ordered the Pho Tai, but the meat arrived pre-cooked, shredded, and low grade. Even worse, the rice noodles came in a solid, blocky cube that I had to manually pry apart. The Banh Mi was equally poor--the bread was incredibly hard/stale, and the meat was sliced far too thick with large chunks of unchewable fat. The service was non-existent. I had to specifically ask for basics like chopsticks and sauces just to begin my meal. I got a single paper napkin. The staff seemed entirely uninterested. I thanked my server on three separate occasions and never once received a "you're welcome" or even a nod. No one ever checked on the table during the meal to see if I needed anything. After finishing, I waited over 10 minutes for a check that never arrived. I eventually had to walk up to the counter just to pay so I could leave. At that point I saved $6 since self-service isn't tip-worthy... I left feeling confused as to whether this was supposed to be a sit-down restaurant or a self-service cafe. Save your money and head to a spot that actually understands Vietnamese cuisine and basic customer service.

Relaxed Vibe, Great Food & a Fun Pho Challenge!…read more I recommended this location over the other locations because I really like the vibe here: it's quieter, more relaxed, and open until midnight on weekends. There's a beautiful cherry blossom mural on the parking lot wall. Inside, it's bright, spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. Seating is indoors only. Service: Friendly, fast, and efficient. Food & drinks: Good quality, generous portions, and great value. I recommend: * Combination Appetizer: fried shrimp, egg rolls, cream cheese, wontons & potstickers * Traditional Vietnamese banh mi * Boba milk tea * Fried rice They also have a birthday wheel where you can spin for a free gift! And for the adventurous: PHO KING CHALLENGE! 2 lbs of noodles + 2 lbs of meat + 60 minutes. Win and your pho is FREE, you get a free T-shirt, and your photo goes on the Hall of Fame! Lose, and the $60 challenge fee applies, and your photo goes on the Wall of Shame. I also love that they have a frequent diner rewards program. For years, they've been the only consistent game in town, so they've had the market cornered. Unfortunately, it feels like they've gotten comfortable. The pho noodles routinely come out stiff, and when I request my steak on the side, it often arrives brown and partially frozen--sometimes still thawing from the freezer. The broth is weak and tastes mass-produced, they skimp on the limes, and the basil has virtually no flavor. The staff is friendly, but the service often feels rushed, like they're more interested in getting you in and out than creating a memorable experience. Even after seeing the same customers for years, there's little sense of recognition or personal connection. With Tran Kitchen Vietnamese now serving traditional, flavorful Vietnamese food in town, Pho ABC really needs to wake up and step up its game. Competition is a good thing, and hopefully it pushes them to bring the quality back to where it used to be.
