The service was excellent! The servers were very friendly and prompt. Hubby loved his linguine clams - fresh and plump! The restaurant has old world charm to it.

My husband and I have been here twice and we've enjoyed our experiences here. It's a small restaurant so it is recommended to make reservations but we were able to get a seat a few weeks ago on a Saturday night even without one. They have some specials that are not on the menu so I ordered the lobster fettuccine with white wine sauce and it was delicious. It was also a good size since I had enough for leftovers the next day as well. Tiramisu and cannoli were not on the dessert menu but our server confirmed that tiramisu was available (and homemade, which is always nice). There is a small parking lot behind the restaurant, which can get a bit crowded at times. However it's definitely worth coming here for some tasty Italian/Sicilian food.

Our first time here and it didn't disappoint! This is a small Italian/Sicilian restaurant (I recommend making reservations) with authentic food. Our servers were really nice and attentive. For an appetizer, we got their fried mozzarella which was really good and fresh! It's not like your typically mozzarella sticks. They were more like squares of fresh mozzarella with breadcrumbs topped with a tomato sauce. Very yummy! For my main entree, I got the linguine pomodoro. The noodles were good and cooked al dente. The flavor was light but very fresh. I couldn't pass up the orange sorbet for dessert! It was also very fresh and tasted like I was eating frozen orange juice. They had a lot of other tasty looking desserts too! Overall this is a great place to come get some yummy food! My family is from the same area of Sicily as the owner, so it's fun supporting "family." Looking forward to going again!

Home style Siciliano cooking, owner operated: Took pops out for a Christmas Eve lunch today "after scouring the "Yelp" net I decided on this place" The building on the outside looks a little haphazard and the inside could use a little charm but the vibe I honestly got was..... I was walking into an Italian friend's house for a meal, so in a sense it has its own special charm. We were seated right away and they immediately pulled chairs aside at a table for my father, as he's in a wheelchair. For starters, we ordered their Sicilian salad and fried calamari . The salad is unlike anything I've had before and the way the plate was prepared, you can tell that they are serous about their preparations. The salad was light and well balanced, and the flavors melded wonderfully. I particularly liked the two slices of anchovies that gave the salad this wonderful salty note. The calamari: light and airy not greasy at all, perfectly cooked! And were as "melting" in your mouth as calamari can possibly be, lightly crispy and not at all chewy, for those people who are like me "a legs man" the calamari they serve also has the little legs. :-) For the main corse pops had linguine Fruta Del Mar. "I think he liked it because all he said was Molto Bene! And polished off the plate. lol! I noticed that they put a ton of clams and salmon on his plate but what really impressed me was in every clam "in the shell" was little tiny pieces of chopped garlic. "People this takes a lot of time and love " I had the veal Parmesan: It had Light flavors for a developed pallet. At first I noticed a very subtle lemon flavor "honestly I just could not put my finger on the flavor" it tasted a little odd to me but buy the time I was done eating I had become acclimated to the flavor. The veal came with a garnish of blanched broccoli, garlic, and little baked potato's "the potatoes were so good, soft on the inside and lightly golden brown" For dessert, we had espresso and shared a tiramisu: the espresso was perfectly bittersweet, and the tiramisu "which is homemade" made with mascarpone, cookies dipped in rum, and "I believe" Kahlúa was the absolute best I've ever had in a restaurant, it reminded me of my moms. :-)

Cutest little family owned restaurant ever! Came here with my Dad and we brought a bottle of wine and the service was absolutely amazing. They were super attentive and always made sure we were doing well. We started off with the calamari and imo it wasn't my favorite, and I think it was the sauce that just wasn't doing it for me. But the rest of the dinner superseded and really made everything exceptionally great and amazing. We got a 36 oz steak.... Seriously hands down the best steak you'll get in the area, and I've been everywhere, literally everywhere for steak lol we also split a pistachio pasta, which was soooooo good. I've never had something like that before, but I will fer sure after that experience. Most definitely will be coming back! I recommend getting a steak each and taking it home

Awful! Never go alone they won't serve you unless you want to sit outside
    Ma C.

Unfortunately, I was alone and they wanted to place me outside; I said no and they told me "sorry" we do not have room for you as the tables inside are for 2 or more people.we cannot accommodate you" .... I felt a fully disrespected and disappointed...... it was cold outside . Never coming back!

We had such a great experience at Sicilia In Bocca today! My family are regulars here and invited us out, and now I see why they love it so much. We tried the steak, rib ravioli, and pizza--everything was flavorful, comforting, and clearly made with care. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service was kind and attentive throughout. You can really taste the quality in the food, and it's the kind of place you leave already thinking about your next visit. Definitely worth coming back for!

Thank you to my sister [from another mister] for picking Sicilia In Bocca to celebrate her birthday!! I can always count of her for some good eats! We arrived a little after 6pm so it was pretty dark at that point. There is apparently a private lot around the back but with low visibility and us running a bit behind, it was either opt for street parking or use the empty lot next door since that business seemed to be done for the day. I went with the neighboring lot. Lol. Not knowing what to expect, at first glance, the restaurant is a lot smaller than I expected. The tables/seating is positioned pretty closely to one another. There is seating outdoor but with it being wintery and wet, that was not an option but would have been preferred imo. For those who are potentially claustrophobic, this setting may not be for you. Dinner Purchases: COMPLIMENTARY BREAD FRIED CALAMARI CAESAR SALAD LINGUINI CLAM [requested for EXTRA GARLIC] PENNE RUSTICHE RACK OF LAMB COCONUT RIPIENO SPUMONI BOMBA Food: Bread was okay. I like how the table is equipped with olive oil and balsamic so you can concoct your bread dip just the way you like it. The fried calamari was great- the squid chunks were good in size, fried perfectly without being too crunchy/dry. My daughter absolutely ate up those tentacles mopped in the marinara sauce. The salad was large in size and tasted like your typical Caesar. Linguine clam was amazing. Definitely make that request for EXTRA EXTRA garlic, it makes a world of difference. The penne rustiche was the worst dish of the night- bland, boring, and the noodles could have been more al dente. @ $23, this money could have been spent elsewhere. Rack of lamb was not only delicious but absolutely beautiful. Veggies were a little skimp but the lamb chops were generous- worthy of the $68 price tag. Dessert was alright. Not only does that describe the desserts purchased overall but it was disappointing to have such a large dessert menu but a good amount of items were not available. These purchases were pricey from what I could remember but be advised that you won't know the costs until you get the check. No dollar amount is listed on the dessert menu. 3 stars for the meal as a whole but 1 added star because the gentleman serving us was really kind. There were just some inconsistencies that would easily elevate Sicilia In Bocca to a 5!! The entire meal costs a little over $240 [including tip] but be forewarned that no dessert will be comp'd for anything you may be celebrating.

My Italian Chardonnay (not my favorite).

I have tried to eat at this restaurant many times, but there was a line with no parking. Today, Friday at 12:30, I was sure they would be packed. When I parked, I started searching for their hours. No one was there. I took a table outside. I had a nice younger gentleman as my server, a gentleman in an apron and another in a fancy Hawaiian shirt. Now I only want pasta if it is homemade. I asked one of the men what is made there. The ravioli, fettuccine and linguine. I ordered the penne rustica BUT went with linguine. Sausage and mushrooms in a cream sauce. WOW! Freaking amazing! Enough sauce for dipping your bread in. All three men checked on me during my meal. I ate as much as I could there, but still came home with half of my meal. I asked for a box. I LOVE when a restaurant boxes it for me. They even went above and beyond by wrapping it in plastic wrap. It's now 5:30 and I just finished the meal.

We drove almost 3 hours to visit while spending the day in the area, and honestly, we would've rather grabbed fast food instead. What made it worse was that we were hoping to treat our mom to a nice meal, but all of us ended up disliking the food. The appetizer plates we were first given were visibly dirty, so we had to ask for clean replacements right away. A few people in our group ordered the loaded clam chowder since we'd seen so many positive reviews online, but it was extremely underwhelming. The seafood tasted undercooked and the soup itself had barely any flavor. The wait time was also frustrating. We received appetizers fairly quickly, but waited almost an hour and a half for our entrees. During that time, staff kept coming by offering extra bread and refills we didn't ask for, which honestly felt more like an attempt to make up for the long delay. Meanwhile, several larger parties that arrived after us were served their meals before we were, even though our group was only 5 people. What also made the experience uncomfortable was that once our food finally arrived, we felt rushed to leave. After waiting, staff were already trying to clear plates while some of us were still eating, which felt unfair considering the delay was completely out of our control. By the time the food finally arrived, the quality just did not justify the wait. Overall, it was a very disappointing Mother's Day experience, especially after driving so far. Sadly, we won't be returning.
