They tried to sell the exact same bike as before for more than they quoted the previous year, and attempted to string me along promising a lower price and then trying to make me agree to a higher price. Motoprimo is in the business of lying, poor customer service, and wasting time. I've given them ample opportunity to make things right, and they obviously have no intention to. Leo's South in Lakeville MN has shoddy service…read more I'm not writing this review out of anger or frustration. Rather, I'm writing this out of sheer amazement, and also because my riding friends have asked me to. This started with a defective TFT display on my 2024 Ninja 500 40th Anniversary SE. After about 200 miles, a dead line appeared through the center of the display and never went away. I don't normally take my bikes in for their 600-mile service as I like to do my own maintenance. Seeing as this was out of my control and I wanted the warranty to cover the display, I decided to take it in at around 760 miles and have them do the repair and go over the bike. When I dropped off my bike at Leo's South in Lakeville, MN, I brought a microfiber cloth with me so I could give the bike a thorough wipe off in the parking lot, so I knew I was leaving it with them clean and in great condition. After they had the bike for about a week, Leo's called and informed me that it would take about 6-8 weeks until they could get a new display in from Kawasaki. Additionally, they told me that they are required to hold my bike for the duration of the warranty repair, leaving me without the bike for well over a month. After about 8 weeks, I got the call that it was done and I could come pick up the bike, so I went to Leo's grab it. Here's where it gets interesting... Firstly, the display apparently contained the mileage for the bike, so when the new display was installed, my mileage was back to zero. They were unsure if there was a way to load my miles, which Kawasaki would later confirm you cannot. I mentioned that this would probably cause me low-ball offers on resale due to the mileage being inaccurate, to which the service person said to me, "that's bullshit" and "you don't know what you're talking about". I was required to sign documents stating that they had performed the initial 600-mile service and that they had inspected and cleaned my machine... 1). There was some caked-on mud and debris around the rear wheel - I've never taken this bike in the rain. 2). The chain was visibly dirty and had obviously not been cleaned. If anything, it was dirtier than it was when I dropped it off. Not a big deal really. I clean chains all the time. 3). A fairing screw was missing on one of the lowers. This one bothered me the most as they said they would need to order in the screw. (SCREW that lol. I ordered the OEM part online to ship to my home.) I asked if they could give me a deal on the service cost due to the issues and they said no, so I paid the $120 and went home to clean and inspect the bike in my garage. All in all, the repair was fine. After I cleaned the bike off and installed the missing screw, it was back to its glory, minus 760 miles. Anyways, not a big deal in the end, but good lord, please stay away from Leo's for service. They have cool bikes for sale and their prices are fair, but their service team 100% ripped me off and will likely repeat this behavior. About 2 weeks later I received a $15 coupon for service.

Ross was working on a bike and said he'd help me out. He determined I had a leak in the tube, which he quickly replaced. He also took the time to tweak my brakes and handle bars. When I offered him my credit card, he kindly said no. I insisted, as he had no idea what a lifesaver he was to me. Again, he said no. I can't thank Ross enough for his kind and generous support in getting this ol' gal back on her bike. Be on the look out for Ross and two other Velofix vans around the lakes area, plus as a bonus they also make house calls!

I first heard about Velofix when my bike was in accident Ave I needed repairs and searched online…read morebut I think at that time they were not doing bike repairs so I took my bike to Erik's Bike Shop in Richfield. My bike was repair where I could ride again but it was not the same as before accident. As the weather is starting to be nice out, I took my bike down to ride and the brakes were not very tight and the gears were not shifting smoothly as before. I did a search for bike tune ups near me and Velofix came up on the search again. I was going to take my bike to Nokomis Bike shop but after my husband went to check it out, they have an undetermined time frame of when the bike would be worked on so I decided to schedule an appt with Velofix. Luckily, they had one opening left for Thursday May 20. Prices were comparable to Nokomis Bike Shop for a basic tune up. It was great because Velofix came to my house and worked on the bike right in their mobile van and was done in an hour. Brant was friendly and good to work with. I did my check in and got a surprised check in offer for a free cooling towel with any service but I didn't save the offer and so I'm not able to pull it up again. I told Brant that and he was surprised of the offer and didn't have any cooling towels available. Overall, I would recommend Velofix because of the convenience, pricing and friendly staff.

First, I want to qualify that my comments apply only to the service department. I believe that the…read moresales operations within this business is impressive, and I would have NO reservations about buying a new or used motorcycle from them. But, wow, the service area couldn't be much worse. First, the quality of the service is absolutely horrible; even on the most basic items. I believe that a contributing factor to this is that there seems to be constant turnover in the tech area, coupled by weak leadership in the service department. These guys don't stick around long enough to get good at what they are doing. In my experience, more than half of the times that I've brought my bike in for maintenance or routine replacement of wear items such as tires and brakes, something was done wrong. I've had oil oozing from the air cleaner because of overfilling, tires out of balance, brakes that were installed and within a couple months, the assembly feel apart because the tech cross-threaded a bolt. Most recently I brought my bike in with a minor alignment problem on a brand new motorcycle, and by the time I had the bike in for the second time, the adjustments that the team had made resulted in a worse alignment problem and they refused to do further work on it. The quality problems would have been enough to make me not want to return, but what makes it much worse is the condescending way that they deal with customers. They have created a culture where it's ok for service reps to not listen, and to talk down to a customer. Organizational arrogance is going to destroy this business if they don't get a new leader in place to set the right expectations, hold people accountable, and get constant feedback from customers. Notice that I didn't complain about the high prices like many people do. If you consistently take good care of my motorcycle and earn my trust, I really don't care what you charge me. I ride a Harley; I know it's not going to be cheap. To HD riders in the south metro area, do your homework. There are other shops in the area with experienced mechanics that do quality work, listen to their customers, and get the work done the first time.

Awesome, friendly owners a as t the front desk that were available to answer all the questions my guy asked. Absolutely awesome bike shop!! They had lots of fun bike tassels, bells and lights available to purchase. They sell both new and used bikes. They had some cool bikes that brought back some childhood memories. They also have a large room that they do bike repair in. If you are in the area and have some bike needs (or looking for some fun accessories that you aren't finding elsewhere), I highly suggest popping in and checking them out!
